quality of food not satisfying

Whether eating in at the restaurant or having a delivery like we had last night, I cannot fault the service or the food. Delicious.

Food was just warm any later it would have been stone cold

to much sauce only four prices of chicken

Are Halal - confirmed via phone call. Re-tried these lot after almost a year and there was an improvement compared to the last time we ordered. Had lamb curry, chana masala curry, tarka dall (lentil curry), mixed kebab starter, keema pilau rice, naan bread, poppadoms, chips. They sent yogurt mint and salad with starter and poppadoms. The tarka dall is nice but very very garlicky so only get that if your a garlic lover, the chips are average. Would probably order again but ask them to make the curries spicier.

Genuinely the food was horrendous, it was so thick and sticky for a curry and such processed food , all I wanted all day was a curry & I couldn’t stomach it , I’ve genuinely had better frozen ready meals , there was no sauce whatsoever & the it was blood red and lumpy , naan bread was supposed to be garlic and was coriander.

The chicken tikka silsila is spot on👌🏻

Great experience here the father and son both friendly hosts and were very helpful. Food was exceptional also.

I asked for no prawns in the mixed meat special , the meal was full of little prawns and very little meat. All I can say, is you need to look at the notes, because if I was allergic to prawns, that would have been a different matter.

Not much to say but friendly staff and everything I've eaten from there is nice and fresh

First time going to the Pleck Balti and we wasn't disappointed food and service very good. Also a very reasonable price would recommend and will definitely be going again 👍.

Usually really tasty, but this time it was not good. 3 meals chicken korma Chicken pathia and chicken jalfresi. They all were tasteless. Very disappointing as it is usually spot on and was looking forward to Friday night treat! 😢

Always good food and staff are very friendly and attentive. Its a shame though as a frequent customer they do not deliver to our area now even though they have delivered before.

2.5 hours since I ordered and it arrived never usually have an issue can understand they are busy but nearly 3 hours from ordering!

Curry was cold , masala chips were hard , and was Naan , usually a very good curry from here bit disappointed today

From order acceptance to delivery was 2 hours and 2 minutes, to top it off the food was lukewarm. We won’t be ordering from Pleck Balti or on Just Eat again.

Just eat said 1hr 15mins and when ordered it was 1hr 50mins, disappointing to be misled

This place is very good. The waiter is very polite and kind and the food is 10/10. We will not use anywhere else because this place has the best food out of all. I really recommend this place and you will not regret it.

Great food, quick service, excellent value.

Fish pakora was so dry hardly any fish inside was like burnt batter. Egg fried rice was nice and the meat samosas was nice.

Sometimes it takes a while to delver but you don’t mind so much because the food is Bang on I asked for extra Keema in my Nan bread not a problem . chicken tikka Balti very tasty masala chips good . always good staff very pleasant

I ordered for 19.35, then had an email at 19.35 saying it was late so would be 19.50, so 15 minutes later the.man it arrived around 18.00, so 25 mins late all in.

We have used Pleck Balti for years, we ordered our usual Lamb Rogan Josh and was very disappointed. Four tiny bit of lamb in the whole curry, not like our usual one. Not sure if it's a different chef but the whole meal wasn't up to its usual standard.

Ordered a few times, consistently the best Indian food in Walsall. Refuse to go anywhere else.

Bit of a wait from ordering until delivery but we know they are always busy so this was expected. Food arrived on time, was piping hot and tasted delicious as always. Best indian food in the area!

Was late,but I pre-ordered,before opening time so did expect a delay,as preparation and cooking time allowed for,it was beautifully cooked,worth the wait

We use this restaurant all the time. The food is excellent and so is the service. There was a party in last night with one Asian man singing to everyone it was fun.

Always a great night here food is so good and staff so friendly. We come here regularly and are never disappointed. There delivery service is also excellent. You should give this place a try if you want good food at good prices 12th January 23. Always excellent food here and once again very impressive . I Had chicken Tikka masala Masala chips Keema Naan Genuinely some of the best Indian food I've had in a long time, rich and creamy with a decent price tag. Will definitely order again. Good job guys.

Messaged it was on its way 40 mins later called restaurant and was told order is still in the kitchen , only the restaurant can say it’s on its way , not the delivery driver , this is how just eat gets a bad name , don’t blame the driver , own your mistakes , your food is great that’s the feed back you deserve

Food was very disappointing today no flavour rice was soaked and clumpy even the keema naan was bad and the salad was literally just onions. I always order from here and is usually one of my favourite takeaways but was really poor today

Food is nice. But when you tell them to make it spicy they never ever make it spicy? I have been there 4 times recently and they never make the food spicy. You ask for a vindaloo and they give you something that's not even madras. Much rather sweet. Waste of money. I have ordered and sat inside 4 times within 2 weeks and the food is lovely but they never ever make you a spicy dish. Its so annoying. I am the customer. I want it spicy. You don't choose how I want my food. You make the food how i want it to be or I will not order again. Very stupid chef or waiter. If you want something spicy don't go!! Ps I am not Caucasian.. I am south Asian. So we thrive on spice! Absolutely stupid and waste of money but yes if you like it mild then it's the one for you.

Iv eaten from pleck balti since 2011 sometimes several times a week with no problems whatsoever,my order is always warm,well presented and tastes lovely,the staff go above and beyond and have even made me things not on the menu in the past too, not to mention the long standing delivery drivers that are always on time,professional and friendly, definitely my choice of takeaway 100%

Ordered take away from here for the first time food wasn't very warm when arrived and had leaked in the bag starters was nice but chicken pathia wasn't the best

We have had meals from here before always good and tasty, unfortunately our meal tonight was disapointing. Same meal ordered as usual..nan bread was lovely, free poppadoms also lovely, masala chips were awful looked like they had been left over from a previous serving and reheated awful .chicken in curry had no taste..such a shame usually a very nice meal.

Lovely place, but it was so cold.. I did mention it to a staff member who then brought over a fan heater for me. (Other diners wore their coats!) The food was really nice, I had a chicken tikki biriyani, but there was hardly any chicken, which was disappointing. Be aware of its cash only and bring your own alcohol (not sure if there's a corkage charge)

Our first order with them after being recommended, felt extremely let down that after spending close to £30 we were shocked to find that the additional onion salads (which you can’t add to order so we had to call to order them) were not Complimentary and the delivery driver made it very clear he was not leaving until the £2 payment for the onion salads were made, despite us saying we do not carry money. When we called to add the onion salad, not once were we informed we would need to pay on delivery otherwise we would have ensured we have money with us. I called the restaurant to pay over the phone, they said they do not accept card, which I find hard to believe, and I was rudely told a driver will collect the £2 another day. Experience has left a bitter taste in our mouth; very disappointed and will not order again. Food was ok, nothing exciting.

Lovely food, very tasty. I'd recommend the chilli paneer starter, it's properly delicious and should be classed as a chef special in my opinion. Thanks and Happy New year to all the staff at your restaurant!

Always come here with the family when we visit Walsall. Shar and team are always friendly, helpful and the food is really good. No Alcohol can be bought here however they are happy for you to bring your own and they will open it for you.
