Mediocre is being generous service slow sheek kebab starter tiny cold and was bland, main course was small portion average as was the bombay potatoe, keema nan bland..when the dessert came out it was like something from Iceland 80p and frozen solid...they wanted to defrost in a microwave... 52quid! a joke..avoid at all cost and it was freezing in there..like the food! 0 ambience appalling! go tapri sutton coldfield..18quid a head with drinks..worlds apart..Best in Birmingham it has it all

My wife and I regularly take my 93 year old mother-in-law to this restaurant as she still enjoys a glass of wine and a good curry. She particularly likes the warm welcome received from all the staff on arrival and throughout the meal. As a vegetarian she delights in the menu options available, and has even enjoyed meals that staff have recommended to her which have not been on the menu. My wife and I share her opinion that this is probably the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to and can thoroughly recommend it for its food, service, and atmosphere!

Really good service and good. Can’t fault. I couldn’t make my mind up between two dishes and gave a great recommendation which was A1. Good prices on the food. Was rammed when we visited they were some large tables with some very loud people who took a bit off the experience but not the restaurants fault.

Food OK and would recommend takeaway if you collect. However, my delivery was an hour late and stone cold - and not for the first time.

We tried Regards for a change and wished we had gone to our usual Indian choice. It took a long time to be acknowledged despite having booked a table. The food was ok at best and there wasn't much of it. Our starter resembled something Italian which was weird! On a positive note the staff were friendly although there was no one to greet you or see you out so felt a little impersonal. Sorry Regards, but we won't be back.

Ordered our food for delivery, arrived minus 2 portions of rice, rang the restaurant to let them know we were short, they just said we won't charge for rice next time, I said we still need it for this meal, they said we are looking at a 45 minute wait, our original order already took an hour to arrive, cannot recommend.

Went last night, a table for 16 ...it was excellent, waiters friendly, all of us had our food served at the same time, was hot & delicious..very impressed Thank you ..would definitely recommend and will return

Cannot recommend Regards highly enough from the minute we walked in we were treated with the utmost respect We chose the special meal deal at £11.95,our starters being tandori chicken and my husbands was mixed kebab. both were large portions and well presented with a side of mint sauce,all very tasty and really fresh.We then chose our mains,I had a chicken balti with a keema nan bread,my hubby chose a chicken jai pouree with fried rice both really lovely tasting and really large portions,I ended up bringing some of mine home.We were then asked if we wanted coffee with a after dinner mint,of course we accepted, We were then offered a complimentry Baileys on ice, well what a lovely finish to ournight out, especially as it was my birthday celebration.We want to give a big thumbs up to Regards at Aldridge and will definately be back in the near future.

Ordered collection which was ready on time and delicious. Very generous portions and so many flavours. Lots of options on the menu and staff willing to make a dish not on the takeaway menu. Will definitely return next time in the area.

Absolutely on a different level when it comes to Indian food! It’s not only the best Indian restaurant in Aldridge it’s the best Indian restaurant in the UK in my opinion. Request the minty lamb curry of the trio of curries, it’s simply the tastiest, delicious curry we’ve ever tasted. The barra chops are delicious as a starter and so is paneer, the breads are always cooked perfectly, both the naan and paratha. Everyone has their preferences when it comes to restaurants, but on top of the food the welcome you get from Syed just puts this place on a different level. Cobra on draught is also a bonus, the New Zealand white wine is also excellent.

The best curry house I have been to! Food was incredible and lovely service Syeed has been fantastic with us.

We have been regularly visitors to Regards for a while now and always receive the highest standards of service and quality of meals. Personally, I try sampling something different from the menu each visit. I’m never disappointed with culinary skills of their chef, an opinion shared by my wife, and elderly in-laws who always accompany us. As stated above, the staff are exemplary and we always experience a warm welcome whenever we visit. In my opinion this is by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to and have no reservation in recommending them.

First time here and definitely won't be the last! I've never had a meal where the staff were so attentive and friendly....a refreshing change to a lot of restaurants. The food was faultless, and that's saying something as I'm so fussy! Cannot recommend highly enough, you need to try it!

An amazing restaurant, incredible food, great service, you’ll never go anywhere else! We have been eating at Regards since it opened 18 years ago and have never had a disappointing meal. If anything, the food has got better. So pleased we have a local restaurant with such high standards and fabulous food.

This is my second visit to Regards in Aldridge, and my partner comes here most weeks with his friends. They give you first class service every time, the food is excellent, nothing is too much trouble and the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. They always remember their regular customers and go above and beyond every time. Had a lovely evening here last night and plan to return soon. I have visited other establishments in Aldridge but none give such a great service and high standard of food. Thanku Regards team I will try your Boldmere restaurant soon. Sarah

Customer of 25 years, and not 1 single complaint. Lovely family run Curry house, both Aldridge and Boldmere are equally as good. Sam, in particula, is a remarkable host, always happy to help and makes tour visit special whether you are a regular or a first time visit. Highly recommended 👌 The food is as good as it gets. 😋 and consistent, which is rare for any restaurant.

By far the best in Aldridge, great friendly staff and owners, but the reason you go out is for the food and its fabulous.The paneer tikka starter is delicious Barra lamb chops have an outstanding flavour.The highlight for us though is the minty modu (think it’s called that) is the best curry we’ve ever tasted, absolutely outstanding flavours.The onion naan is extremely tasty.By far the best Indian restaurant in Aldridge

Went for my sons birthday with the family Will definitely be returning. Warm welcome shown to your table straight away food was on table in quick time piping hot and delicious staff were polite and helpful.

Food was very good overall, starters, mains sides were all 9/10. The restaurant itself was very cold though, i am not sure if the heating was off Friday but i could just not get warm at all.Also the cobra on draft was flat, that needs sorting.Overall will go back because the food was lovely. Next door to a couple of pubs as well if you fancy a few pints first.

Having used regards for years it is with a heavy heart I have to share this experience. We have gradually noticed a decline eating in but delivery is an absolute shambles. We always give regards 2 hours notice and order for a specific time, previously they were very late so we stopped using them, tonight we gave them. Try again after a long lay off and what a disaster Meal was very late and food cold, we cold regards 3 times to be fobbed off and neither owner sam or sarj were available. What a joke Unfortunately we will not be using regards again whether it be delivery or eat in When u try and explain your issues it falls on deaf ears

We have just returned from a lovely evening at Regards in Aldridge. The service was friendly, efficient and fast. Our meals were amazing. This was our first visit, which will be the first of many. Highly recommended a visit.

After struggling to find a decent Indian meal in the area, this did not disappoint! Dining in was a cosy experience with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with very attentive staff who are happy to look after it’s customers. Food was very tasty, hot and a decent portion. You can also take your own drinks. The whole experience was excellent. Very well run by the Manager. I must also commend the staff. Would recommend and I will definitely be returning. We don’t eat Indian food all that often but when we do it’s always at regards.Located right in the middle of Aldridge regards is perfectly located, plenty of car parking outside.The staff are always excellent, extremely friendly and professional, nothing is to much trouble.The food is outstanding, traditional Indian food cooked to perfection.Try the new secret golden triangle which is a trio of specialty curries, the lamb one is mouth-wateringly good.

Been here after a while and the food is still absolutely delicious. My Balti passed the famous spoon test (manager said if it didn't he will change it straight away). Its nice to see a sanitising station, screens and track and trace in place. The staff are polite and attentive. Food cannot be faulted. There are many restaurants in the vicinity but Regards by far the best in Aldridge. Love the nice complimentary drinks touch at the end. We will be back.

We have been coming to Regards since it opened, 15 years ago, and we have always enjoyed the food. However, the meal we had tonight was simply one of the best ever. Try the Copsila Special, so worth it! As usual, Sam and the staff were attentive and friendly. It makes such a difference to our evening. Thankyou!

This was our first visit to this restaurant for a long time after lockdown. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We had the special Sunday-Wednesday meal deal which was very enjoyable and good value and was even better with the Government Eat Out 50% off food deal from Monday to Wednesday during August.

Me and my husband went , the food was excellent, Fabulous value for money we had the meal deal ( Sunday-Wednesday) £10.90, we had starters, Main, with side and complementary drink at the end, personally tonight’s Curry was the nicest I’ve ever had in a restaurant , The waiter was lovely very well mannered. everything was clean, and safety measures were followed, we will definitely be going again it was 10/10 for me .

This was our first visit to Regards. The booking we had made by telephone had not been recorded in the register, but we were early and there were plenty of seats available. We were seated about mid way in the restaurant. First impressions were not good. The table cloth was full of stains. The waiter assured us it was clean and that the marks were just stubborn stains. Not good. Obviously bleach isn't available in Aldridge! The whole place looks like it needs a deep clean. The food was very good, but trying to eat it was difficult. Seven seperate interruptions asking if it was okay got very annoying. The waiter who took our order had not got a clue what was on the menu and basically had to use the menu as a guide to record what we ordered. What we didnt anticipate was the unexpected outdoor experience. It wasn't so much a draught but a full blown gust that repeatedly blew through the restaurant from the kitchen. Several patrons put their coats back on or over their shoulders, all of which went unnoticed by the staff.

Regards is definitely a family favourite. Excellent service, wonderful staff and delicious food. Regards provides the best family friendly atmosphere and is a wonderful place to visit for the perfect, nice family evening out.

Have eaten at this restaurant many many times and recommended it more times than I can remember. It’s sad to say however that the quality is slipping and the team need to do something about it. The decor needs a freshen up and attention to detail matters - take a look in the downstairs loo, it’s a bombsite! The menu hasn’t changed in years and years and isn’t it time diners were offered some new creative additions? The quality of the food is tasteless gravy with added spice and frozen chicken ..... or is it that their same old, same old ‘tried and tested’ recipes just don’t cut it anymore? Starters fare better than mains but only just! Waiters don’t know what they are serving and they look at the dish hoping to recognise what it is. This means with large groups diners get someone else’s order. A madras can look the same as a balti but taste very different.Tripadvisor shows mainly good or excellent reviews and I would add that this restaurant has a very loyal client base, some customers (including us) frequented their other sites past and present. We don’t like to complain but we do vote with our feet. Come on Regards in Aldridge, it’s time to take a long hard look at your business and ask yourselves ‘Would you serve that food to guests in your home?’ There is growing competition in Aldridge and surrounding neighbourhoods and you’ve got to move with the times.

We hadn’t visited for a good while and everything on this visit was as good as before, service, value and good food. We enjoyed our meal and will return.

We went with a group of friends, the staff couldn't have been more helpful & the food was delicious . We even took drinks in earlier to chill .

Very poor service! Nothing like it used to be, very rude waiter. Telling us our table to shhhh so he could hurry our service along, missed a pregnant persons meal off then decide to argue saying she had ordered the wrong dish yet there weren’t any spare dish for her! Her food then arrived 20 minutes after everyone else had started eating.. We even left a £6 tip yet he was adamant we had under paid. He checked the money 3 times and still couldn’t count it right! Food was lovely however this waiter has left a bad taste so we will never return

Not the worst but defiantly not the best restaurant in Aldridge, service lacking, slow and disorganised asked for an ice bucket got a warm bucket no ice. Portion size is ok, but the food quality just is not there. Mid week feed if everywhere else is fully booked, but not if you are looking for anything special. Decor needs work and a clean.

There are many curry restaurants in Aldridge and in my opinion this is one of the best, the staff are very attentive, very friendly and know us now as regular customers, food is always very good, well presented and just the right amount of spice whatever you ask for, very good value for money too

First time to Aldridge last week and my second time this week.

Visited this restaurant early on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived there were a couple of tables occupied, however, around an hour later the restaurant was surprisingly full for early week. We chose the special meal which is available I think from Sunday-Wednesday and is excellent value. Our food was really good and the staff were very pleasant.

I booked a table for 14 for my sons birthday. On arrival we were told that the table had not been booked! I provided proof of the 3 phone calls that had been made during the day as the party had increased in numbers.

We had a great meal at regards on New Year’s Eve, it was extremely busy but the was no lack in service or issues. The food was all delicious and piping hot and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Nothing was to much for the staff and overall a great experience thank you

Had pre booked table for two for 7.30. Arrived couple of minutes before. Acknowledged straight away, within a couple of minutes taken to a table. Clean covers and cutlery. Asked for four poppadoms which were presented within three minutes. Large and very tasty. Accompanied with the usual chopped onion, mango chutney and a yellow sauce which did lack flavour.No starter, ordered our main course, again arrived within seven minutes. Both mains were very tasty, however i felt my sauce portion was rather small. We had a rice each which were presented in [compared with other local restaurants] rather small dishes. My pea rice was flavoursome, however my partner had mushroom rice which was again, lacking in intense mushroom flavour. The restaurant filled up quickly, and had a good buzz about the place. I must say though, although the waiting staff were very efficient, they had not got the usual banter that i have come to expect. We were offered a spirit or Irish cream at the end of the meal. Nice touch.We left, happy to of visited Regards for the first time, nothing to be unhappy about, however not our favourite Indian restaurant in Aldridge.

Having not visited Regards Aldridge previously, I will be honest in admitting I had little expectation at the suggestion of a Friday night takeaway with friends from this eatery. Opting myself for a king prawn jalfrezi, boiled rice and naan, I collected our order from friendly, well presented staff who had the order freshly prepared at the specified time. Food was hot, well packaged for transportation and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and quality of food, which did offer value for money.

Visited here with my family as the restaurant a few doors away that we used to go to (Indigo) has gone down hill. The place felt a little dated on fist impressions but clean and the food we could smell was appetising. We had good service Nd the food was well cooked with a reasonable price. I’d go back and recommend to others.

Me and my girlfriend visited in late August 2018 - I had a Lamb Madras and my girlfriend had a Lamb Bhuna. Both curries were excellent - great tasting and good portions. The Madras was quite hot compared to other Madras’ I’ve had, but cry enjoyable nonetheless. My girlfriend thought her Bhuna was delicious.

My wife and I frequent this restauant. the food and service are always of the highest quality. One of our favourite curry places nestled in the lovely aldridge village on the high street.

I have been going to this resturant sence it opened and have always had great food and service.the staff are very nice and friendly.they go that extra mile if you what somthing different or even if you what them to open early because of a special occassion and you want to eat there,They have obliged us in the past.give it a try you wont be disapointed.we will always eat there.

My friends and I meet once a month for a curry usually a group of at least 10. We chose Regards this week and a group of 14 attended. We found the staff courteous and patient we took a while to place our order . The food was good and we took a vote at the end of the meal , overall we scored Regards 8 out of 10 . This added with the midweek offer we took advantage of made this great value for money
