The best restaurants serving Indian food in South West

We had a delivery from cinnamon tonight. Can honestly say it’s the best Indian we’ve had in a long time. Chicken was so tender. All dishes were so delicious!

Masala is a fabulous Indian restaurant. It is easily the best in Dorchester. They were happy to prepare a dish not on their menu (Shashlick Phaal) for me and it was exceptional. The balance of spices and heat complimented the tender succulent chicken that I ordered. The Tarka Daal was a perfect accompaniment and the rice was perfect too. The staff are very good, friendly and efficient without being overbearing. They timed their visits to the table with perfection. Despite not living in the UK, I have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Nice ambience, friendly atmosphere .would be nice to be able to offer a selection of alcohol beer and an alternative milk gree ice cream. The food and service was very good.

Usually order the same thing, fancied a change. Disappointed, ordered something medium spicy but it was bland and tasteless. I will go back to the usual, chicken tikka balti, always excellent

We ordered online, a delivery for two. We live 2.4 miles away. It was on time. Sadly the temperature and the food were a let down. The food was barely warm. The vegetable samosas had little flavour, and a soft pale yellow texture. Onion bhajis a bit better but cold. Our naans we’re almost OK, fresh and nearer warm enough in their closed envelopes. But my vegetable curry had little taste and with the surprising exception of the potatoes the other vegetable were over cooked and the dish u invitingly cool. My partner struggled to find the enthusiasm to finish her chicken. We chose Cafe India because of some good meals eaten at the restaurant over the years but our using CI for a delivery was a bad decision.

Brilliant experience - great food and excellent service.

Been one of my favorite curry houses in Bristol for a long time. The food is amazing and good value, and the fact that it's BYOB is a great bonus. The staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is nice.

You always get a warm welcome at the Raj. The food is lovely and flavoursome with lots of choice, and the staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful.

Went in without booking on a Monday evening. It was really busy making a nice lively atmosphere, but we were seated quickly having waited for a few minutes in reception looking at the menu. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Food was really good. We had poppadums and pickles, followed by a biryiani and a tandoori mixed grill. Both were tasty and big helpings. You could probably share a dish with a naan each and it would be fine. Would recommend.
