The best restaurants serving Indian food in Mid Sussex South East

The king prawns were more like regular prawns and there were very few considering the cost of the dish. The prawns were also over cooked unfortunately, so they were very tough and dry. The onion bhaji’s, naan and rice were fine.

I just left the Balti House and just had to write a review. We went for the banqueting meal which was fantastic but what was really amazing was the level of service received. Abdul and his colleagues were fantastic! Abdul was attentive and really kind. I moved to HH about 8 months ago and this was the best customer service received to date. Thank you - we shall be back!

Very disappointed that the restaurant, which serves excellent food, has stopped serving alcohol. The management response that it is a result of Brexit and that the majority of other Indian restaurants have done the same is respectively incomprehensible and untrue. In fact, I was told by the manager himself that it is due to the religious preferences of one of the owners.

Had my first takeaway from here recently with a group of friends. Took a while to arrive- just over an hour - but was worth waiting for. Kept updated on delivery time which was good. Delicious food - everyone was really happy with their food orders. Will definitely use again...

Absolutely amazing food as always. The best Indian takeaway / restaurant in East Grinstead. Believe me, full of flavour and authentic cooking. Try them you will not be disappointed 👍

A great meal out with a couple of vegetarian friends who declared that, having lived in the area for many years and never been in this restaurant before, it was the best Indian meal they've had since they moved here. For my wife and I it was our first visit, and we'll be going back. Excellent.

Food was tasty and came quickly although it is quite pricey and the naan was disappointing. We asked for tap water which never arrived, we ordered coffee and tea and tap water after the meal and again the tap water was forgotten but tea and coffee came. I gave up asking. We weren’t given anything to wipe our hands with after eating which would’ve been nice.

My go to takeaway. I've tried all the Indian takeaway and restaurants locally over the years, but Bengal Spice is by far the best. The food is always hot, full of flavour and plenty of choice. Excellent

Recently under new management (since the old reviews on here) this place is excellent and worth a try again really good food

When food didn't arrive we called them and they were so rude saying oh my goddd and stuff like that and hanging up on us when ever we spoke
