The best restaurants serving Indian food in Hastings South East

Really enjoyed dinner here on a Friday night. We're not very experienced in Sri Lankan food so don't know how authentic it was but it felt like it was authentic. It was all certainly very tasty and seemed like fresh good quality ingredients.

First time eating at the restaurant last night I cannot fault anything food was delicious service was good even though they were very busy. Prices are competitive we will definitely eat there again. Thank you for a lovely meal x

We are a family of four adults. We were all made very welcome and we enjoyed everything, from the pappadums, the mixed starter and the wide range of main courses. Well done, Ali!

I visited with my wife today, early evening, as with any new Indian I go to my default order of chicken Dansak with pilau rice and the wife had a vegetable Biryani. Honestly I was blown away, this has to be the best Dansak I've had in many years, the tastes were fresh and vibrant without too much but just enough heat, even the raw red onion and crispy fried onion bits added to the flavour.The vegetable Biryani was well cooked and flavoured, the veggies were cooked to perfection. It's a shame it's so far from home but if I ever find myself in Hastings again I know where I'll be eating.

Ordered from here before and loved it! Decided to treat ourselves tonight and poppadoms and prawn puri and chicken chat puri starters were lovely butvwe both found them hotter than usual. We got to the mains and it really went downhill. Ordered a chicken dhansak which is my usual favourite and a chicken korai. I understand both are medium hot but I've never had them this hot! Tarka dall was hard to even find a lentil, it was just liquid. Sag aloo again just really hot for some reason. I've never tasted sag aloo like that. Sad to say that's all been left. No idea why everything was quite so spicy tonight and if you like your curry really hot you'd probably be ok but it was too much for us.

Take away ordered. Probably the worst main of any Indian place in Hastings, did not seem like Indian food at all, inauthentic. The Tarka dahl was passable. I won't try it again.

I used to eat here many years ago and returned tonight. The food was good, the staff were friendly I will be back. We have enjoyed the experience

Excellent food. Driver phoned and I met him at the bottom gate of the holiday park. So pleased they delivered

Had chicken biryani and chicken damask. Also had popadoms. I am a curry lover and can honestly say that this is the worst Indian that I have ever had. The popadoms tasted of fish and the chicken in both dishes was tough. I threw the lot away and wasted £21.

I think the restaurant should manage the expectations of their customers a lot better. I'll think long and hard about using them again. They stated that there would be a complimentary dish after I phoned but this didn't materialize..

After spending far too long in the near by museum, (the palmists had us hooked) we came out to all the food vendors finished and shut. BUT we were so lucky that all the wonderful staff at 3 Souls in a Bowl re opened to feed us all. We all had a fabulous meal freshly cooked and drinks brought to us from their VW !! We all had different dishes and not a scrap was left!!
