Food consistently good. Delivered promptly and good value for money. Can’t fault it. Never let us down.

Estamos en ayunas de carne y lácteos, fue refrescante tener un restaurante con buena comida, servicio relajado amable. Disfruté mucho de los platos indios que nunca había probado antes (no suelo ser fan de la comida india), pero en esta ocasión no pude obtener suficiente de ella. Según mi amigo indio los platos eran realmente tradicionales no solo platos populares sino platos caseros. Me encantó la experiencia. Y muy bien decorado, buen ambiente tranquilo y relajado.

Utterly disappointed! Ordered a lamb vindaloo which hardly had any meat ( which looks and tastes like mutton) and had 5 bits of small potatoes! The chicken madras had the same sauce as the vindaloo! So my husband could not eat it!! 6 pieces of tiny chicken! Won’t be ordering again from here!

For context, I have been brought up with curry houses in the west midlands A frequent visitor to the balti triangle. I have been looking for a good curry in the banbury /west oxfordshire area for a year now. Nothing really tickled my fancy been looking for a good curry house to represent whstbi have experienced form a young age, as well showcase good Asian food to my girlfriend who hasn't really experienced it apart from bad takeaways or really bad supermarket versions. Jool did that everything seasoned to perfection. Nothing too small to ask for service amazing I felt guilty I didn't have spare change for a tip Will be going again to try more dishes We chose from the banquet menu.plenty of food. Sadly we had been to the cinema and couldn't do justice to the meal they gladly packed up for absecond attempt at a glorious meal at the weekend. We are regular customers at Shakils and always have had great experience eating in and on Friday 14th March 25 we had a take away for all the family . 5***** food every time whether it’s Birthdays and Xmas celebrations we always use Shakils . See you soon ….

Great naans, that's about it! On the surface it seems to be all right, but when you ask for anything there is a problem. They were out of larger, they were out of lemonade, they were out of prawns etc The gents toilet had a sticker on it saying 'out of oder' And then we came to the bill, they said card machine was not working1

We loved everything: tasty refined food, very nice atmosphere, variety of options and nice dessert selections. The staff is kind and polite.Highly recommended.

My son ordered a take away 2 Chicken Kormas plus onion bargis the were the WORST EVER indian meal we have ever tasted A total of £ 31 pounds was wasted the Kormas ended i n the wellie bin date was 1/3/24 DONT GO THERE PLEASE

I’ve used you for years; always enjoy your food. Lastnight, everything was dripping in grease and cold, it wasn’t edible. I called to say we were disappointed to be told it was delivered in good time and whilst I approached my complaint reapectfully and politely, this wasn’t dealt with correctly. Disappointing to say the least!

Had a superb meal last night. The service was excellent as always. The chicken dhansak is the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommend.

Me and my boyfriend went, we was welcomed in straight away, met 3 of the staff who were all polite and very attentive to not just us but everybody’s needs. I’m assuming the older guy was the owner he was lovely and again very welcoming as we’re not from round there we were just visiting the area for a couple days. He especially made an effort for food and drink suggestions which were both brilliant choices, something we wouldn’t normally choose but was glad we did! Both our meals were one of the best Indians we’d had. We would definitely recommend “the bengal special” curry I think it was called was full of flavour. We both left stuffed to the brim and didn’t even finish everything . There portions are defiantly decent sizes. The whole experience contributed towards making our weekend away even better so big Thankyou to The Bengal Spice restaurant! 😊
