Fantastic food. Visited with my team and they were all very happy with the food. The thali in particular is delicious and well worth the price if you’re hungry. Jaya, the owner, is lovely too, very warm and welcoming. Big fan!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was so inviting from the moment you step in. The service was very accommodating to personal/dietary needs. And the food was some of the best I’ve had! It tastes like home :)

The chef/owner, Jaya serves the most amazing, fresh and delicious home-cooked Gujarati dishes that keep us coming back as often as we can. The flavours in all the food and drinks are quite unique and really worth savouring. Some dishes, like the samosa chaat we share every time, but we also love trying different dishes. Despite being a small, cosy restaurant, the menu is extensive and new dishes keep appearing. Even the sauces/accompaniments are very fresh and incredible, so I really recommend getting some roti so no exquisite flavour is wasted! There is so much to choose from that everyone will be happy – especially if you get a selection of dishes to share meaning everyone can try even dishes more each time! Jaya is happy to explain what is in each dish and adapt for individual requirements. Hands down, this is our family's favourite restaurant. Every friend and family member from children to Grandparents that we’ve brought to Delhish love it as just much, including those who normally refuse food without animal products. It is best to book, but they do accept walk-ins when they can. We’ve even popped in once just before closing for a scrumptious drink and desert. If you are in a rush, they will advise you which dishes they can bring you quickly, or you can take your time and savour the amazing flavours and fantastic atmosphere. Jaya and her staff are incredibly kind, friendly and accommodating. Note the website “opening” times are (in June 2024) actually the times they accept bookings so everyone has time for a full, freshly prepared meal. They are generally open a lot later, and do accept some variation on booking times, especially for large groups or quick walk-ins if they have space. Delhish is ideal for groups as well as families/couples/colleagues. Friends from the region say the food is authentic. We just know we haven't tasted anything quite like it, or anywhere near as incredible.

Ate here with the family last weekend (our second visit to this restaurant). Wonderfully tasty food, especially the delicious Dahl and the Indian lemonade but really, all the food was lovely. Very chilled ambience with delightful and attentive staff. We'll be back soon.

Family of four (older kids) out for late lunch/early dinner. We took advice on menu choices and three of us took the thali feast while younger child had a customized bhel puri chaat so not too spicy. The food was delicious, really well balanced. Drinks wise, we all loved the limbupani lemonade. Service was personal and they had a lovely atmosphere, we'll be back soon!😋😋😋

Fantastic food and lovely, friendly service. We got different curries, rotis, samosas etc. to share with the curry and rice having unlimited refills. First time having Mukhwaas after a meal and they really helped with the full-feeling from all the amazing dishes.

Visiting Delhish was the most incredible experience! The food was fantastic - best samosas I've ever had. The Indian lemonade was also delicious. I loved all the little touches such as sweets and herbs to follow to help with digestion. Jaya is incredible and was so so helpful. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely come back!

We had dinner. The website mentions booking which I did. It said that we should wait for confirmation that did not come. I called but was asked to call again in 20 minutes. Called again and proceeded to the restaurant. Just a couple of diners. Didn’t understand the fuss about booking. Looks like a family run business. Food was ok but expensive for what it is. We were told that the menu we were given was old and the prices had gone up on their ‘system’. After some discussion agreed to charge what was on the menu but added a 10% service charge even though the website says that it only applies to groups of more than 5. Again had to negotiate. Could have been a better experience.
