i ordered takeaway of chicken bhuna and chicken jalfrezi curry. it really tasts heaven. perfect mixture of all the spices and the real taste of india. i loved the food also the quantity is worth the price. highly recommend it.👍👍👍,i am surely visit again 🥰

Had a mixed biryani delivered, the food was lovely and delivered with a smile. The sauce has a good spice to it and the meat was cooked perfectly - will definitely go back!

Had a home delivery. Really good food . Very big portions. Would recommend.

1st time using this restaurant take away, had a lamb tika bhuna, tase was good, BUT, the lamb, was so tough it was inedible, if it was used for car tyres, would get at least 50,000 miles, so avoid the lamb. Not sure l would go again 🤔

One of the best curries I have ever had! The decor was a pleasant change from the flock wallpaper of the usual curry house. The food was fabulous. First impressions was how pretty it was. Tasted delicious and not too greasy. The service was quiet, attentive but not intrusive. And the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Kebab and popadoms were not great today but the rest was as normal.

Brought a takeaway from this restaurant. I phoned for the order at 19:55 and received it at 20:20. I live in the Hardwick area so to cook my food and deliver it in 25 minutes was a shock. When upon opening my food most of it was microwaved as chicken was very dry and korma was to much coconut. This was ordered on Sunday night by Monday night I was very ill had to take 2 days sick due to this. Please be very careful people.

Absolutely fantastic food and service, we went early evening mid week , it was fairly quiet. Should imagine it gets busy later and during weekends. Definitely recommend.

Went forward birthday supper, staying in Banbury. Lovely restaurant, nicely decorated. Staff and service excellent. We had the set menu. Delicious food and good value for money. Highly recommend.

Awful. Cold food, wrong order partially,- tiny portion. Order came 90 minutes late. Shocking… the chef should have gone to Specsavers!!

Went for a large family meal, 17 of us. Don't think they've ever catered for such a large group. Once the food started with the poppadoms the amount of dips/pickles seemed a bit sparse, had to request for more. The main followed shortly, these were very tasty but I would say lacked in the quantity of meat for the dish. So the big question would I go back? I enjoyed the evening there so for that reason I would go back again.

For many years I had take out from here & the food was fantastic. However, it’s now far too expensive and I refuse to pay £10 for 5 papadums & sauces. That combined with the delivery costs and a service charge, quite frankly it’s not worth it. Great shame, it shouldn’t cost this much. So good riddance Mogul, compliments to the chef and all, but in terms of value there are far better places around.

Food was late and cold. Status said out for delivery for around 25 minutes and then arrived late and cold. Shame as we usually enjoy.

Disappointing food. Very little flavour and some items seemed like they were reheated. There's much better options in banbury to be honest.

Both the saag aloo and saag paneer were pathetic tiny portions literally a spoon full of each. Absolute rip off

We decided on a takeaway rather than visit this restaurant as it was a very cold night outdoors. Phoned and order taken efficiently. Delivery 5 minutes ahead of agreed time by polite driver. Food superb. THANK YOU WE WERE 100% SATISFIED

Mildest Madras I've ever eaten

Tried all Indians in Banbury but keep finding myself coming back to the Mogul. Everything hit the nail on the head. Food arrived hot and in plentiful quantity. The chicken tikka keema mutter paired with the garlic naan is an amazing combo and I recommend everyone to try this out. Looking forward to ordering my next takeaway 😊

The food tasted great, however wasn’t as hot as I’d expected; I reheated it before eating. Maybe look at ways to keep it hotter in future. Other than that, it was incredibly tasty.

I have had a takeaway recently and have eaten in with some work colleagues and both meals have been very good. Finally somewhere in Banbury worth going to.

Ordered it at 1700hrs and was told it would be here by 1745hrs, then it was delayed until 1815-1835hrs. It didn’t turn up until past 1900hrs. It had obviously been in the car for a while as the dips that come with the popadoms were warm and not cool. Really disappointed as I was looking forward to a curry! Just not two hours after I ordered it.

Love this Indian takeaway it's the only one in banbury I use. But just one issue tonight we ordered chicken madras, and it did taste nice, but it was a very sweet taste, not what I normally get from this Indian reference madras. But probably honest mistake with the sauce

Have had 2 previous fab takeaways from here. Just had our third which was very disappointing. Madras had no flavour or heat, makhani was tasteless, samosa and bhajee tasteless too. Not hot enough so needed heating in the oven but fidnt help flavour. Such a shame. Will not be going back. Ordering process easy and delivery quicker than stated.

I had a bad experience, nothing we ordered was good, both quality and quantity was the worst for the price.

First time last night and have to admit I will be coming back I had a lamb balti and asked for spicy and it was perfect, when we got the bill we had to check it,as it was so inexpensive and will definitely be going back.
