this was my husbands favourite local Indian restaurant (and he was Indian himself, so knew what he was looking for). When he passed away we decided to have his wake here. The team were marvellous, and the food spectacular. Our many friends had a wonderful early evening with a range of good food, good conversation and good service. I could not have asked for more for a good send off. They have an extra room at the back of the restaurant so there is plenty of room for a large gathering.

Love this place. Easy to order online. Always ready on time and delicious food!

Maybe this place is aimed at boomers on final salary pensions. For the rest of us, it’s too expensive. Looks like I’ll be eating at home again.

Worst Indian I’ve ever had! My food had no flavour and the meat was poor quality. My partners food tasted better but has given him a really bad stomach.

Our order was ordered at 18:35 and arrived at 20:40. I called the restaurant at 20:20 when the app was saying my order had been received (it had not) and the food appeared finally at 20:40. I would not have ordered if I knew the wait time would have been so long.

The gentlemen that run this business are absolute quality and so is the food! We travel regularly to this place and every time we are satisfied with the chef!! See you soon lads

Such a shame that Charlie is giving up. Have enjoyed his food for 30 years in harpenden then Aston Clinton. It has always been good. I understand Charlie's brother may continue in the kitchen for a while, as a handover to the new owner. I hope the new restaurant will be supported as good chinese restaurants are far and few between.
