The best restaurants serving Indian food in North West

Outstanding curries. Chicken tikka masala and Apna chicken achari. Full of flavour. Meat so tender it just fell apart. Will definitely go again.

Fresh , tastey food. My new go to takeaway restaurant for a good indian meal. Exellent delivery service too. Very generous portions.

Absolutely what was needed at the end of a difficult day travelling. Wonderful friendly service, pointed us in the right direction of how medium to spicy their chefs prepared the food. Food was perfect a Chicken Tikka Masala meal and a Lamb Madras meal were beautiful. Thanks to all.

Takeaway order , late as per usual, but this time mega late. To top it all off the rude staff ordered me to sit down where there clearly was no space and so , after taking the hint they wanted me out of the way . I went outside in the cold to wait. After waiting an unbearable long amount of time, I came away without food and of course after giving them Full payment. I’m a long time customer dating back to when the place opened, but no more. Saffron please keep the money for the food and loose a regular customer. Penny wise pound foolish. Oh and I’d suggest you never order a customer to sit down where there clearly isn’t a space again. Exceptional food, quick service and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the chicken tikka biryani was amazing! I will be a regular customer now- second order here and it’s second to none.

Lovely food, Great prices and delivered on time. Ordered for 6 adults on a Sunday evening and the food was beautiful. The best in the area.

First Indian from Chorley and it was so good. Food arrived hot from delivery. All food was correct and super tasty. Great portion sizes and great value for money!

Taste - 4 Service - 1 Order time - 2 Cleanliness -2 The shop is authentic, taste is also good for dosa and idli but not that good for curry's. Tables were sticky and not cleaned properly. Only one poor waiter to serve 5 heavy tables. She forgot what I ordered even after writing in note, possibly due to only server. Need to maintain more staff during weekends.

We stayed one night at The Victoria while cycling coast to coast (23/07/21) The landlady Tien was fantastic, she was welcoming and helpful-even taking me to see a local cycle repair man to arrange to fix my bike (at 10pm!!!) despite the pub being jam packed during the annual music festival. The rooms although basic are clean, the bed comfy and shower hot-nothing else was required! Highly recommend this place for a top quality stay-it's not five star in the luxury department but the customer care is unmatched. We will stay again.

El chef especial Nahari me preguntó si era picante, es bastante suave, así que lo hicieron con una patada para mí, el cordero era hermoso 😍 el curry era increíble, sabores tan ricos, lástima que los tamaños de las porciones son un poco pequeños, pero la calidad lo compensa, los mejores muchachos que trabajan allí regresarán indefinidamente.

We have been here many times. Good starter portions. Lovely food. You often see South Asian people eating there which is always a good sign. No problem with the food or staff but…..£4.50 for a pint of lime and soda. A dash of lime and bubbly water. £4.50 for a pint of cola. How much is Cobra or Kingfisher I wonder.? Much the same I’d imagine. There is no justification for ripping people off like that. Now I think about it, we were overcharged by £2.50 for the drinks as well. So, no tip. Except this. Don’t swindle the customers or they won’t come back.

Order easily taken over phone and very helpful advising. Food arrived on time and still very hot. All items tasty , well cooked and plentiful.

The food was superb. I had a chai drink and the light paratha with chickpeas. Everything freshly made on the premises. Very clean restaurant in an unassuming side street in Blackburn. Don’t be put off when you arrive- the restaurant is very clean and there is a good atmosphere. Mixed communities. Great find!

Amazing food, lovely service and consistently good, at a great price too! We’ve tried different meals and loved everything we’ve had. We’ve only had delivery but each person that delivered has been great.
