Pitched up here as a lone traveller and they kindly found me a table despite being busy. Service was excellent. The food was lovely with the specials choice in particular offering plenty of choice. My meal was lovely and would return next time I'm in the area.

Very busy Indian restaurant! Great bar Fantastic service by the team.Nothing too much trouble great food lovely venue first time visit! Try the aloo gobi, chicken pathia Garlic nan and lemon rice Fab!

High quality south asian cuisine, it is definitely a must if you are in the city, their curries are of high quality plus such a welcoming family run restraunt.

Se came here for my son’s graduation meal. The food was delicious, piping hot, seasoned very well and service was first class. Decor is very stylish snd atmosphere welcoming. Good range of dishes on the menu. Mango lassi very well made too. Plates warmed. very clean place and everything good standard. Prices reasonable. Customer service impeccable. Finally a good non-halal restaurant. Shame it is in urmston, not salford. Bit far to be our local, but we will return for special occasions!

We absolutely love coming here! One of our favourite places to eat. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food is always amazing, we have tried various dishes and they’ve all been delicious. Perfectly cooked. Always a lovely atmosphere. Can get busy so recommend booking a table just in case. Service and standards are never affected by how busy the place is. We will definitely be back again soon!

Great food, korma was very tasty! £150 for five but worth it!

Had a fantastic meal at Sai Surbhi in fulwood, Preston. Wonderful stater the Royal Platter to share full of flavour. Mains again were first class. We had Chicken Shahi , and Jalfrezi with basmati rice. Peshwari Naan was unbelievable. Staff were very good and had good knowledge of the food being served. The only downside was the decor , a revamp is needed throughout. Chairs and toilets need attention. Overall a great night

Was late in for some food. The normally nice staff were a little off hand. Not sure why. The ladies toilet was in a real state. The Mrs said it was horrible. We were really rushed out and won't be back Sorry

Good food, Starters were great, came quickly and were fresh. I had Fish Amirstri which I highly recommend. For my main I opted for a Kolumbu curry, subtly Tamato tasting with a nice kick. The Pilau Rice was a throw back to the curries I used to have in the 90’s 10/10. The service was top notch, we were served by Bhargavi who was attentive and efficient, came over at just the right time. We had a great evening and would definitely visit again.

We come here at least once a month. Cannot fault the service or food here at all. The food is always served fresh and hot and as ordered. They are happy to accommodate our requests and make the food to suit our tastes. The staff are attentive, friendly and professional. Always a really great atmosphere. We love coming here and will always recommend to friends and family.

2nd time and won’t be the last, we came at Christmas holidays… had my usual a vindaloo this is to check how well it compares to my other favourite restaurants but this place really exceeds. Service is fabulous, really friendly and you are made to feel really welcome… food is delicious…the staff who work here (the servers) really make u feel welcome… met a couple over the last 2 visits…all excellent and good at their jobs they obviously enjoy it because you can tell by the way they serve you….so helpful and courteous. Food is just brilliant… you can semi see into the kitchen they clearly work hard but food is delicious. I love vindaloo and this place nails it. I would 100% recommend we came by chance in December and visited again on Tuesday it was just great. Really enjoyed it… Thankyou! X

The atmosphere was so lovely and relaxing but the food was the best part ! All the food was fresh and the waiters were very professional and checked up on us throughout our visit . Bhargavi was our host and she was very polite but made sure we had everything and checked in with us . Very friendly and nice place !

Food was a big let down. Atmosphere and service was good but food wasn't good. We would not go back or recommend this place. Very disappointed as food lacked freshness and didn't taste well

The best indian meal I have had in a long time. I will definitely be visiting regularly. The service was great, really attentive and supportive of dietary needs. Narinder and his team make you feel very welcome. The mocktails and cocktails were far from basic and of a high standard - a nice touch. I've never had rice so good and the all the food, chutneys and breads were delicious - not greasy and no ill after-effects! I recommend the spicy chips. The atmosphere was set with good music. Forget about Mowgli and get yourself down to Sai Surbhi!

Sai Surbhi Fulwood is our favourite restaurant..the Food is always amazing,we've tried numerous dishes but the Lamb Pathia Wow..Trust me it's the best. Thanks for always giving us the best night. Linda & Dave

Been here few times so the quality of food is decent but for the price you pay for, you expect quality food and service. They clearly have young people working here or people with lack of food knowledge. When people make a order, that is their order but if you ask if they want additional items then clearly state if its complimentary or chargeable. I go to similar restaurants in Midlands, better quality food and service than here. It is a Indian restaurant then liven up the atmosphere with Indian theme music. There is so much potential here. Just requires tweaks to make it better. Shocked by some of the responses here by the owners. People pay good money to come here, if you can't provide satisfactory service then be polite at least. Doubt we would return again unless service and competitive Preston Indian restaurant prices. It is legal requirement to have disabled toilet. Premium prices poor service.

I have been to the Urmston Restaurant many times and I love it, my favorite Indian restaurant. I was visiting my mum at Preston hospital and decided to eat here. The Preston one is just as good the lamb chops are amazing and the chicken shahi is to die for. Staff are brilliant and it is a family run place. Nice decor and ambience. I will definitely be back if I have to visit the hospital.

Sai Surbhi’s chefs Joshi and Negi are culinary wizards. Their Chettinad bursts with authentic flavors, while the Garlic Naan is a garlicky, buttery delight. Together, they elevate dining to an art form. Absolute gems of Preston, they deserve every one of the five stars!

Meals were very good and portions are generous and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Really disappointed to be leaving a negative review here as we've been going for years and loved it, but since the original owner left it has sadly declined. Whilst the food is still good, the service side is below par and the attitude of the new management is very disappointing (there's the needy and then there's the greedy!). I've no issue in paying for good food but to say I've felt ripped off tonight is an understatement. Not sure when they started adding a 10% service charge but they fleeced our party tonight so beware. I won't be returning and will be recommending to family and friends to also avoid.

We were a group of 12 going out to celebrate birthdays and paid £60 deposit ( £5 each ) The food was good and the staff were great. The problems started when we were paying the bill. We all knew what we’d ordered and the drinks we’d had so we were paying separately on cards. We were told that the deposit had been taken off the final bill, which couldn’t have been true because they ended up giving £50 back. The main man said they didn’t normally do separate payments, which I couldn’t understand as it was a Tuesday, they weren’t busy and we were the last table in. What was a great evening, with amazing friends, turned into a farce at the end. Just wanted people to be aware of this so they don’t feel like they’re being ripped off like we did.

Wow at last ,we moved up here from London a few years ago and have finally found a superb Indian restaurant, food was superb , service was first class. Would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant, the chicken Parthia was just excellent.will definitely be our go to Indian restaurant from now on.

This was the first time we have visited. Excellent service, fantastic food, super menu, plus I wasn't too sure what to order, I like a medium to hot Curry and then waiter recommended a perfect one too! 😋 We shall be back x

1st visit, having just moved into the area. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Restaurant very nicely decorated. Food 1st class although the portions were on the large side for us but certainly well worth the price. Thank you all for a very nice 1st visit. You will be seeing us on a regular basis.

Just the best curry house in Preston. A half hour wait for my takeaway, but given a free glass of Cobra for the inconvenience. Jake brought the drink who is such an asset and a really nice guy.

My daughter and I have spent many hours at PRI while my partner is poorly. Tonight after we had left the hospital earlier than usual we decided to treat ourselves to a meal here. I can tell you we were not disappointed, in fact it gave us a boost. From the Punjabi punch a mocktail,poppadoms with chutney tray, through to our main meals of chicken Dhansak, and chicken Jalfrezi coupled with the most delicious Peshawari Naan bread, this is the best we have tasted in any Indian Restaurant we have visited. Five star plus.

We had a fantastic meal on valentines night. The food was delicious, and the service excellent. Lots of choice on the special valentines menu.

Our first visit and we weren't disappointed. Very good menu with plenty of choice but not overwhelming at the same time. Some very good specials and unique tasty dishes. Staff were great! Polite, helpful and happy to answer questions on the menu. Made us feel very welcome and at ease. We will definitely be back!!

The food from here is usually amazing and we eat from here often. Ordered a takeaway and everything was perfect as usual apart from one curry. The paneer masala was extremely salty and bitter. It was a different colour than usual and a lot stodgier (hardly any sauce). Couldn’t eat more than a bite. Tried to get a refund just for the one curry but the restaurant refused. Really disappointed as this is our go to place for curry. Never had an issue before but put off ordering again.

I wouldn’t go here again on the basis of the price. Spent over £300 and charged me for poppadoms that we was told were complimentary. Ordered drinks and they didn’t all come at the same time.

Went with a friend Tuesday night so it wasn’t busy. We were shown to a lovely table. The restaurant was just the right temperature (some places are really cold or too hot) We ordered poppadoms that came in a basket rather than the usual round, breaking into lots of pieces type. They were excellent really fresh and the sauces were delicious. I ordered meat samosas and my mate got the grilled fish we swapped a piece from each other’s dish to taste food. The starters were very nice. So far so good. Then came the mains. I ordered ‘gigantic prawn masala’ this dish was really tasty and flavoursome. We ordered rice and naan bread to go with our meals. The mushroom rice was really good and i devoured one of the best Naans I’ve ever had! We swapped food again just to taste. My mates chicken curry was excellent too. A really good meal, a little on the expensive side, however it was definitely value for money. Highly recommended. Don’t go anywhere else until you try Sai Surbhi. You’ll love it.

All as I can say said Surbiton we will not be recommending you to any of our friends 11of us tried you for the first time on Saturday night I have never been so cold having a meal we sat with our coats on the starters came which we all enjoyed but it went downhill from then on we waited 1/3 hour for our main meal and when it eventually arrived the chicken was raw the rice was lukewarm they forgot to bring the rice for one person and by the time they brought his rice he'd already eaten his curry cos he was starving.

1st time at Sai Surbhi last night and Wow.......amazing food!!! I've been to a lot of curryhouses over the years, here there and everywhere, so it takes a lot to make me say that but it was probably the nicest indian food I've had in a very very long time. From the poppadoms and dips, to the curry, the rice, and the paratha; it was all just fresh, delicious and made with care. I had naga chicken which you'd think could maybe blow your head off but it was simply amazing, v hot but not at the expense of the flavour at all. My girlfriend who also travels a lot with work had vindaloo and said the food tasted just like it would in India, albeit with better quality ingredients. When we told the manager how good it was he said literally all of the cooking staff are actually from India so there you go. You definitely need to try it, won't be disappointed.

First time dining here but won’t be the last. The service was excellent and the atmosphere matched . Staff were very attentive. The food came out all together and was absolutely delicious. 5 of us dined, we ordered popadoms with dips, mains and sides. Each dish was throughly enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

We were visiting Preston and came here as the reviews were good. The food was OK. Coffee is not served. 2.of our party walked with crutches. The toilets were upstairs and there was no.disabled toilet. I thought it was a legal requirement to provide a disabled toilet. Would not recommend. Will.not visit when we are next in Preston

Unfortunately after a good first experience with mixed grill. I ordered a Lamb Tikka Masal for take away and when I got it it was Horrible , very sweet. Just like a ball of sugared porridge .

Have only ordered from here as a takeaway, but the food is delicious. The prices are fair given the large portions. I especially enjoyed the lamb biryani.

Sai Surabhi is a great restaurant for genuine and authentic Indian taste. They have crafted their dishes so well that the spice level is just right for both Indian crowd as well as not too spicy for second generation indians/ locals. Only reason I have given a star less than 5 is because we did not like the overall attitude of one staff who was a bit unprofessional and seemed put off when we asked for tap water and turned down pappodoms as starters. Great experience is always a combined effort of chef , ambience , and great service . While sai Surabhi has exemplary chef , good ambience - their service could be better . Don't get me wrong the junior most staff are great and make up for the arrogance by the seniors

Would recommend, tried a takeaway/delivery from here for the first time. Very tasty food. Arrived piping hot. We had chilli squid (which came with chips), garlic naan, naga chicken with basmati pilau rice and king prawn biryani.

We go here regularly for all our staff get togethers and i can’t recommend them enough! Always going that extra mile for our team. Truly the most wonderful Indian restaurant. Look forward to visiting again soon :)

It's one of my favourite places

Excellent menu with dishes not normally found on mainstream Indian restaurants. We have visited as a group from BAe a lot of Indian restaurants in the area but this was near the top. Service was exceptional and fast but without being overwhelming. The only downside is the limited parking. Overall though highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous place and food. I am allergic to onions and we had phoned ahead. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, offering me alternatives to make my food more enjoyable and the sauces. I would highly recommend this place and I will defo be returning!

To drink I would recommend the mango lassi, delicious. There are the usual curry dishes and then there are more unusual choices I went for a chef's special with pilaf rice which was also delicious. Airy space to dine with friendly staff, nothing too much trouble including packing up left overs to take home. I'll be back.

We went last week as part of a family meal, this is the 2nd time I’ve been to the restaurant, the first time was before lockdown. Last time was good but this time was spectacular! The decor, atmosphere, service and especially the food were all amazing. The service was friendly and informative, the staff helped me pick the right dishes for our taste and recommended things I wouldn’t have chosen myself. The food was well presented and tasted so flavourful! We can’t wait to go back

Lovely selection of curries/rices/breads enjoyed for take out... fave being Chicken Shahi - delicious. Staff friendly and food prepared promptly. Onion bhajis were spicier than expected (which was fine for those of us who can handle a bit of heat..!). Thanks for a yummy family birthday meal.

I was recommended this place by someone in London and decided to make the visit when I was up North! The food was phenomenal - for reference I am an Indian myself - and it takes a lot for me to be impressed! We are vegetarian and they had an immense range of options. As well as the great food this is clearly a popular place and atmosphere was lovely. Service was super too and the staff were attentive and quick. Will certainly visit again and highly recommend if anyone is in the area!

First time visiting Sai Surbhi and food and service was excellent. Friendly no stress atmosphere in the restaurant made for an enjoyable meal.

We visit this restaurant every year that we travel to Preston to work. Simply put, we can’t travel to Preston without visiting Sai Surbhi. They very consistent with the food tastes since we have been visiting the location in the past 3 years.

Absolutely sensational - one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a long time. Mixed sizzler platter as a start was great, Balti, railway lamb and buttered naan all fantastic as mains. Staff very friendly.

I visited Sai Surbhi on Sunday night and managed to get a table within the hour (last minute decision to eat out!) I had been here in the past but just for takeaways based off recommendation however I had never dined in. The lady that greeted us (in the green cardigan) was incredibly pleasant and I do remember her from going previously being helpful with sorting out vegan dishes. The menu had clearly marked allergens with vegan, vegetarian etc all marked. A waiter took our drinks order and offered us some poppadoms which were very nice. Being truthful, no idea what the green sauce was but we guessed some kind of parsley, coriander, chilli sauce that I have never had elsewhere but it was excellent! (If you can let me know what that was, thanks in advance!) We had Cobra to drink, and enjoyed it thoroughly! No complaints there. For starters, the Onion Bhajis and Cauliflower 65. The Bhajis were as good as ever, but the Cauliflower was amazing. Very glad I chose them! The flavours were amazing and you can taste lots of different ingredients including a nice subtle anise which in my opinion went very well. We hadn’t eaten all day, so we didn’t shy away from the food… For mains, I had a vegetable Jalfrezi which was nice! If I was to be very picky, I could’ve took some more heat as it was described as very hot on the menu but I would personally consider it more medium. That however is a personal preference and it is always difficult to gauge heat right for everyone. That didn’t take away how much I enjoyed the dish however, I chopped the Indian green chilli used as a garnish and mixed it in to give it more of a punch. Perfect! My partner had the Dal Tadka which I have had before and was very good. Both dishes complimented by a mix of the lemon and mushroom rice which were both faultless however I preferred the lemon if I had to have a favourite! The coriander and mustard seeds in the rice worked perfectly! All scooped up in a naan bread and I couldn’t grumble. We didn’t have any room for dessert, not sure if there was any vegan options but I don’t think so. Maybe some sorbet could have gone down well as some general feedback! The price was very reasonable for what I can honestly say was an amazing meal. I absolutely love Indian cuisine, it’s definitely my favourite. I have eaten curries all over the world, and from my memory this was genuinely the best Indian meal I can remember. Not only for the amazing, tasty food but also for the team. The staff were amazing and a real credit to the establishment. I run a restaurant too, and it is so refreshing to see a team that care, that smile and make you feel welcome. I ate at Sai Surbhi on a Friday evening at 7pm two weeks running. The first week in a group of 3 with my 6 year old daughter. The food was excellent and so was the service - they catered well for my dairy-allergic daughter. The following week I was in a group of 13. I was obliged to shout my order across the table, and we had to wait one and a half hours to get the food (which was excellent again). If you are hungry go in a small group.

Poor service . Raman ,( so called head of the restaurant ) , was very rude to us. She would not take order for a starter (for the kids) . She said that we had to wait until all of our group were there to place our order, although more than half our group was there. Apparently the kitchen was too busy , but many tables were still empty . I then asked her " So, if our friends are stuck in traffic, should we be sitting here ,hungry? We would rather walk out" ...She said " That is your choice". I was shocked to hear her response. I then asked " is this really what you say to your customers?" She snarkly said " yes" . We would have probably walked out by now, but they had already taken a big deposit while booking the table and our friends were travelling a long distance to meet us . We had ordered 2 jugs of lassi which arrived promptly, but we had to ask three times in 20 minutes for glasses . At last we got 6 glasses for 9 people! I wouldn't recommend it for the taste . So I would discourage anyone going in groups. If i need to say something positive, The starter platter was good 👍

After living close to a decade in Lancashire I can say for sure this is the only fine restaruant that offers truly authnetic Indian food in the entire North West of Englad (ignoring Manchester & Liverpool area). Being a south Indian my supertaster buds can easily differentiate authenticate Indian food & some food that is named as Indian, this restaurant offers asli (true) Indian food. Varities on the menu caters for both vegetarians & meat-eaters, cost wise it's slightly upwards but that's perfectly fine for the quality & quantity of the food that is provided.

Well what can I say booked for 16 people a month ago paid deposit arrived at the restaurant 8pm Saturday 2hours and 20 minutes and still no starters arrived left in disgust people arriving and getting there meals before ours .they Were more interested in asking if we wanted more drinks .

My go to place for Indian food. Especially love the daal tarka.

Excellent food and great service

I ordered a take away meal, so cannot rate the atmosphere, polite on the phone, told meal would be ready in 25 minutes, turned up and it was. Very pleasant on the front desk, some restaurants don't treat take away customers so well, no issues here. Meal was hot when I got home and top quality, will be making a visit to the restaurant very soon. Excellent service, excellent price and excellent food, what more can one ask for?

Some of the best Indian food Period. When ever the family and I visit we have to stop at Sai Surbhi. we were welcomed by the lovely Host, Raman. Seated with no wait time. We ordered a few drinks and started with the Paddapoms and few other starters. They also have huge variety of vegetarian dishes for the family. for the quality and quantity no one comes close. Can't wait to be back.

Went on Saturday, amazing food and friendly service, we were seated upstairs. Really buzzing and lively atmosphere. Ordered mojito cocktails which were amazing, loved the food too. Ordered salmon tikka & Lamb Chops starters that were very flavourful & fresh. Had a lamb shank in the main that was very tender and a bryani that was a big portion for one!

I have never ate here before as I live in Canada. Read online about this restaurant and definitely made me want to eat here. I will give this place a visit if I'm ever in the UK!

First time visiting an Indian restaurant and considering I am not the best with spicy food I wanted to test myself. Thoroughly enjoyed it as well as my girlfriend (even though she was sweating from the mildest curry), decent price and will more than likely visit again. I did have to laugh at the "curry connisseur" reviewer who ordered a korma and masala, the most bland and boring Indian meal you can order and considers himself a curry connisseur! 🤦‍♂️

Manager not nice, not make effort to understand what I asked or make chopsticks for me. I seen the chef flipping my naan like a pancake and dropping it before kicking it to the waiter. It did not taste good. Nice plates.
