We visited during Ramadan so the service was delayed slightly to allow the staff to break their fast. Other than that, it was excellent as always

Went for my husbands birthday in a pod. Loved the music and the food was amazing. Definitely going back.

Amazing if you like ketchup and mayo… all other sauces are over rated anyway so doesn’t matter if you don’t have them

Felt really rushed and the service was hardly there a lot of food came delayed and tasted very bland . Had to keep asking for items. Lovely decor but service and food not great at all. A nice place for a hangout, outing or a date night. The food was amazing and comforting, same goes for the ambience too. The employees were the sweetest, looking out now and then if everything is ok or not. Highly recommended and the outside area is cute. Worth it. Cant wait to visit again !

We came over from Cheshire to try this place out. Restaurant looks visually appealing and the pods at the rear give it a USP. However, faffy food, trying to over complicate simple Indian food, just didn’t work for us. Curry had way too much oil in for me, which made using naan breads impossible, as they was dripping in the oil. We tried the lamp chops, which the meat was fantastic, but why include some green garnish that does nothing to the taste is beyond me. We tried the masala popadom…soggy and not really worth the 100% mark up on a standard popadom. To cap it all off I had what I would say is the single worst cocktail I’ve ever tasted. What ever syrups are being used they need to be changed as the drink was so sugary I simply couldn’t touch it. Undoubtedly, the meat quality was excellent, but I felt the food the is trying hard to stand out and forgetting what’s at the core of a good meal….taste wins over visual aesthetics … Price point for the meal is more than fair but we wouldn’t return.

Dined in for our meal, the food was absolutely delicious! Good quality food and very tasty mocktails 🤌🏼 the inside was clean and tidy and the customer service was amazing, the staff also gave us an icecream on the house which was a lovely gesture! Came on the recommendation of my daughter. Didn't disappoint.

I came with my husband for iftar (2025) and the food was very tasty. The lamb chops were tender and the lamb biryani was delicious. I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were nice and friendly. They warmed up the food in a microwave for my baby boy who has multiple food allergies.

We ordered delivery for the third time! The food is spot on! Better ordering for delivery on their own website! The chicken tikka saag balti is the best I’ve ever had- better than any Indian restaurant standards and we are very fussy! Would highly recommend

Booked a pod with a few friends & I have to say the food and service was 10/10! Atmosphere is lovely and we even got to play our own music in the pods as they provide speakers to connect to. The new menu is banging especially the chicken wings. Thankyou will defo be coming again

Service was brilliant, music was a little loud on entering and my husband struggles with his hearing in situations like that, a quick conversation with the staff and they turned it down without hesitation. We had a couple of extra people with us and this was accommodated without any hassle. Food was fantastic as ever! Couldn’t fault a thing and after signing up for the free membership that offers discounts we will be back with more family and friends

We got a take out from Khau Galli for the first time on yesterday (saturday), and it was delicious. The reason this isn’t a full 5/5 is purely because when we got home (20 minutes away) we found that we were missing one of the starters. We called and left a message on the answer service and messaged them too. So far we’ve not heard back. We’ll definitely be visiting again as the restaurant looked fantastic too. Just a shame that they didn’t ring back to fix the problem with the missing food. We’ll see if they read this and put it right. I’d be more than happy to give the restaurant 5/5 if this small oversight is resolved though.

We’re from the Netherlands and we came here to enjoy a good curry. The staff was very friendly and caring. We had the best curry in town and loved the experience in the pods. We highly recommend this place for a good experience and lovely food. 10 out of 10!!!

So sorry to say this but, My go to has always been, Green Lamb Chops The Salt content overpowered everything taste wise.. I'm sorry, £10 went in the bin.😫

Had the green lamb chop starter ,Lamb Madras very tasty, staff very pleasant.

Had brunch - nice choice on menu - had the taster menu - lovely. Pina Colada mocktail too which was really nice. Staff polite and efficient. Definitely will do a brunch/ lunch time again.

Love this place. Been going for a good few months now, never fails to be 10/10. The service of the staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful with advice on what meals to get and overall attentiveness is outstanding. Went the other month in November for brother’s birthday and they were so kind to give a complimentary birthday desert. Food never disappoints always so tasty and so many options with different levels of spice perfect for all, great portion sizes and very filling. The atmosphere is great such beautiful decor and layout. Would 100% recommend to visit here! Great selection of starters, would recommend the pani puri such a different starter but so tasty!

Always a fantastic experience at Khau Galli. We visit often and have always been extremely happy with the service and food. Wonderful team friendly and welcoming, menu is very diverse and food is delicious. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen and all have had wonderful experiences. Great food, friendly service and lovely atmosphere. We were in one of the vip pods and was a brilliant experience even in -0°c temp.

Excellent customer service. The food is out of this world. The staff go above and beyond. Their own brew Indian beer is highly recommended by my husband. What more can you ask for when you dine out.

The vip pod experience and the service from the lads was flawless. The pod was warm, cosy and equipped with a bluetooth speaker and a buzzer to call the staff. The sweet and savory noodles were nice and so were the lamb seekh kebabs. Kids loved the green lamb chops. We were told to utilise the 50% off voucher from their social media page which we were unaware of. However the time we had to wait for the food (agreed it was a sunday evening) was far too much. Also systems should be able to identify which pods or tables have already paid and not allow to take a duplicate payment from the same customer. We were refunded our double payment. I was paying for my husband’s birthday dinner , didn't realise he had paid already until he showed up at the till very timely.

Been many times service always good this time a bit hit and miss. Got seated quickly ordered drinks witch arrived pretty quickly then waited about 20min before some one came to take our order we had to ask for some to come and take it other than that the rest of the night went ok.

We always book Khau Galli when my in-laws come over from Ireland and they love it. The food is always exceptional, as well as the service and atmosphere. The new menu was delicious and I highly recommend Khau Galli..

Visited with my friends with the 50% off voucher when it re-opened. We first visited when Khau Galli very first opened. I do think it has lost some of its uniqueness now the menu pampers to the typically British curry and some of its classic dishes have been lost. My friends were a little late arriving and we were told they needed the table in an hour and 45 minutes. No problem with that - they were busy and my friends were late due to traffic. We then waited ages for our order to be taken and our food to be served. I don't know where the people who should have been on our table sat (it wasn't full when we left) but we would have been off the table if we weren't left waiting for ages. The food is, as always, fabulous but I am missing some of the previous dishes. The decor is lovely too. It is one of my favourite places to visit in Oldham.

Hi Kay, Me and my friend Phil come often for food and last night I had the chicken noodles with the local salad, I must admit there was a little too much spice or chillies in the noodles as it really did burn my tongue and I had to drink 3 glasses Of water whilst eating it I also feed there was too much mint and spice onThe salad. If they could tone down the spice or chillies that would help as the noodles were very nice apart from that.

If you want a quiet curry and a talk, it's not the right place. If you like loud music with your friends during the meal you will be happy. My friend had to look for the meat in the curry sauce, the Roti is not the best. The rest is okay Indian food. Service was friendly and flawless.

This is a lovely restaurant with a wide range of foods. Service is excellent from our recent experiences. The only tricky aspect is there is not a lot of parking spaces.

Came here for brunch a couple of days ago with my cousins. I browsed the menu on their website before going and thought it looked really good. I didn't realise it was the place with the pods as this place was suggested by my cousin. I think I was a bit underwhelmed with the aesthetic of the restaurant. The exterior was unassuming, and the interior was more homely when I was expecting a more modern/contemporary vibe. But it wasn't a disappointment. Anyway, there are a variety of items on the brunch menu, which was good. I ordered the fully loaded breakfast with a house chai. The food was nice and filling. I really enjoyed it. I think next time we come, I would want to book a pod for us to experience it because it did look pretty cool. Would definitely recommend trying this place.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. Everything about the place is sensational. The decor, the staff, the service and of course the food. Highly recommend the VIP pods too, they are fantastic.

Very mixed feelings. The starters were great, I had the veg samosa and they were top class, the rest of the table loved theirs too. That’s when it went downhill… we were SO rushed, to the point some of the table were being pressured to give up their plates before even finishing their food. Then came the mains… forget about the chilli scale on the menu. It means nothing. I had the Jalfrezi and it was bland and watery. My step mum ordered a prawn dish that was supposed to be less spicy and almost caused a heart attack. In fairness they did refund the dish. Between the pressure to eat mad quick and poor menu guide. I’d not come back again.

Unusually, the service was too fast. Before we had all finished our starters the staff were trying to take plates away and put down the plates for the main. I was even instructed, ‘give me those plates’ … ‘all the knives and forks’ I’d say there was less than 5 minutes between finishing our starter and receiving our main. We tried to eat our mains slowly - otherwise the whole meal would have lasted less than an hour. However, the staff offered us takeaway bags after 30 mins. I would get as a takeaway but I wouldn’t visit this restaurant again, despite the food good.

Went for an informal work meal. I enjoyed my meal but there were limited vegetarian options. I liked the call button at the table as it meant staff came when we wanted them and were not hovering the whole meal

I ordered food yesterday chicken 65. Oh my god it is full of colour. I did not it is food safe to pregnant women or babies. I am seriously concerned. I hope the restaurant stop this food colours for the sake of public health

Advertised on various food bloggers/ influencers that this place is fully Halal however no one mentions that they serve alcohol. Was excited to try this place after seeing all the hype on social media however was very disappointed and won't be recommending. The lamb karahi was lacking flavour and the meat was tough and not enjoyable at all. The desi chicken had more flavour however the chicken pieces hadn't had the fat removed which was off putting. The naan was nice at first however when you got to the end and the thicker part it was quite doughy. The cheese kebab was nice. I had messaged and they said they have a car park but didn't mention how small it was and that some of the surrounding streets are permit only so had to park a bit further away. The service from the staff was probably the only good thing about our visit! Not worth the visit, quite expensive for what it was.

This place is an example of social media fooling you! Awful food no taste, very quick at serving ( getting it over and done with). The cutlery was awful no sense of presentation !!!!! Would not recommend for Asians especially.
