ve recently Visited Chai Station in Blackburn during Easter holidays and enjoyed an authentic 'home-cooked' desi breakfast; our two kids enjoyed a mix of east/west combo of paratha and chip butty with beanz, as responsible parents (ha ha) we both enjoyed the parathas with keema freshly cooked by a small team of very dedicated ladies. The best compliment to this very welcoming eatery is that the kids insisted on a return visit before our return back to London. Junior actually commented "sorry mummy but this paratha is better than one you make". And mum happily agreed with this endorsement and we managed to enjoy our 2nd visit for a truly traditional taste! The owner also made a discreet visit to our table to ensure all was well with the food and service, she added a nice caring touch to the whole visit

We attended here for a big family banquet. We ordered several tawa dishes. I was not too keen on the chicken tikka, the rest of the food went down well. The staff were attentive, the service was reasonably speedy. It was a good family get together.

Amazing food, lovely service and consistently good, at a great price too! We’ve tried different meals and loved everything we’ve had. We’ve only had delivery but each person that delivered has been great.

Went to this place today as just needed some fries as our usual were shut for Jummah. I ordered 3 boxes of fries, had to wait 10 minutes as they make them fresh. Good so far. Whilst waiting I observed a member of staff packing someone’s food into a bag. I noticed he licked his finger to help open carrier bag. This is a No No! It’s a food place you must have had training and this is spreading germs.when I received my fries I politely pointed this out to the man in charge who served me. I explained this was not acceptable and I will be leaving a review as it’s not good practice and although I shall not return I just don’t want their customer to be exposed to this. The guy explained that we are a small place not McDonald’s! That’s irrelevant you must follow good safety if serving public. He then proceeded to offer me a refund. I said no I don’t want my money back but just want you to review and retrain the staff for the benefit of your customers. He was not very accepting of my advice and explained you can leave your review but it will not affect my trade/ income/ Rozie. I do not wish for anyones business to suffer, nor do I wish for it to be affected by my review. If you are bringing friends and family to help plz offer them training!!

My wife, step daughter, grand daughter and myself booked our Christmas Dinner at the Raj.We have been here a few times for a curry so decided to try the Christmas lunch. On arrival we where warmly greeted by Ozzy who showed us to our table. The restaurant was busy and full of festive cheer.I chose the curry meal (you are given several options)and the rest of the family opted for the traditional Christmas Dinner.I can honestly say everything was perfect, the food ,service and atmosphere was spot on.We will definitely book again for our Christmas Lunch.
