Chai Station in Blackburn with Darwen

Food is really nice so giving them 2 stars but the staff have an attitude problem…no service with a smile or manners unfortunately which lets the place down…miserable sods

Just popped in for tea to take out...and that was the best tea I have had...it was cooked really well. Proper desi chai. I would reccomend to try....and good for value.

Popped in for a Chai and Baklawa with my husband. Couldn’t have had a nicer experience, the Chai was just what I had hoped and the baklawa was massive. My husband was very excited about his birthday treat and next time we are in the area would love to have lunch.

The food is always delicious that's we always come back with family and friends. A nice family environment and very nice ladies. Always clean.

Well, if your wanting a Desi breakfast which is made to taste and perfection then Chai Station Blackburn is the place to be. It's a A+ for presentation, and taste. The lahori Breakfast you can NOT fault which includes sweet halwa, cholay (chickpeas ) and purris. Then you have the Desi Omellete to enjoy with the Huge mums Parata, and down with a nice DESI TEA. Most importantly there service is remarkable even in busy periods So a must try and a defo 👍🏼 thumbs up from me. 10/10

It's ok if you want a quick cup to pick and takeaway, staff were not very cooperative and took forever to make a simple milk shake and frowned faces when asked how long it would take...

We have been coming here every few weeks for a couple of years now. The food is really nice with that homemade taste. They do specials on the weekend which are okay but tend to be a bit pricey and there was very little lamb in the achari gosht and too many pickles. We did speak to them about this on the day but they didn't really offer to do anything about it so we just stick to the regular menu now. The food is delicious and staff usually provide good customer service. The prices are very reasonable on the whole. I would highly recommend this lovely little cafe. Ignore the one star review on here...if you want tasty fresh food you have to wait a little while. Don't go to a place like this if you want food bought out in 5 mins!

There has been an explosion of Chai places in Blackburn. I have tried many of these places but The CHAI STATION is my recommended place to have authentic, Mama's homemade offerings. They do the best Parathas with the best Desi Chai! The CHAI STATION pulls me all the way from Preston, because the food, chai, staff and the welcome feeling i get. This small hidden gem of a cafe serves a local community. Try it and you will be coming back for more! Thank you CHAI STATION!

What a lovely place and the staff are great. Excellent service and food. Best tea in Blackburn. Chocolate cake with mint custard was fantastic. Will definitely be going again

We visited Chai Station after seeing good reviews and were delighted! The Lahori breakfast was delicious, the puri light and puffy, the halwa luxurious and the dhal delicious. The proprietors were so friendly and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We drink lots of chai in Blackburn and, in our opinion, this is the best by far.

Went for breakfast at Chai Station after seeing so many good reviews on Social Media. Pleased to say that our experience lived up to the reviews we had seen. Staff were all so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was freshly prepared and honestly tasted amazing. We had the Lahori Breakfast and Paratha Omelette. Husband was so happy as he could see his Paratha was being made fresh and not pre-cooked. The Halwa Puri was delicious and the Karak Coffee took me right back to the streets of Pakistan. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this place. Deco was on point, lovely and fresh.

We’ve been here many times, with friends and family. Exceptional service and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is lovely and food is delicious. They are very attentive and ensure you are looked after. Recommend visiting here and experiencing for yourself.

This is the best tea shop i’ve been to so far. Living in the heart if blackburn i’ve been to many. The food was great the tea was perfect and the service was brilliant. The staff were really freindly and the deco was beautiful. The price is perfect for the food you receive. If your in town and want some great food a nice cup of indian tea then this is the place to be.

It was my first visit today and I was absolutely amazed with the exceptional service and friendly staff. I did order to take out but whilst I waited for my order the atmosphere was very encouraging to eat in. After tasting the wonderful food I have made an intention to actually go back and eat with my family. Thank you for the daal reccomendation I will definitely be coming back for more!!! Defo a thumbs up from me, keep up the good work to all the lovely staff who was actually rushed off their feet due to how busy they were. Considering all this the gentleman who served us still had a smile on his face and was very friendly and helpful.

I have eaten here so many times ! It’s become my go to for breakfast and lunch !! The staff are amazing and always serve with a smile! The open kitchen is so refreshing you can see how clean everything is and the kitchen staff...

Don’t go on the location really a hidden gem. Mouth watering taste & halwa is the best favourite. Chai is 2nd to one. Visited them on couple of occasions & always loved. Just waiting for tiers restriction to end so have another desi breakfast.

Really slow service!! Although the food is quite nice the service is really slow and poor. I’ve visited couple of time and on both occasions I called 6-7 times to pre order but no answer. If you want a quick breakfast before work then stick...
