Absolutely terrible. We waited an hour and half for our food it finally came and it was freezing and looked like someone had punched it. I can't recommend after that. Got a chicken tika wrap and chips and looked like a started they were tiny and paid £17. I feel I've been robbed

Ordered new yrs eve, excellent as always. Best Indian by far. Preordered during the day for 7.10pm deceivers. 7.05 delivered, piping hot. Its now our New year's eve meal every year. 😋

We have a take away every two weeks it's the best in the area, great service good food excellent customer service. The delivery driver loves our dog as long as there's a window or a door between them both. Veggie food made to order too.

We always get amazing service and amazing food here, but tonight was epic. Honestly there is no better take away. And no one on the planet can beat the garlic buttery naan. Tried a new curry tonight. Defo recommend chan chan 👌 no photos because we ate it too quick! Haha

Food arrived piping hot ! Ordered set dinner for two and it was more than enough !! A massive amount of both lamb and chicken and neither were at all fatty ( I’m really fussy and didn’t have one complaint ) Will def order again and reluctant to even eat out locally as this beats hand down any other Indian food we have tried in the area !

I ordered tonight the food arrived on time and boy was it tasty, we enjoyed every bite. I had the Lamb Dupiaza and Chicken Korma with Garlic naan and Keema rice all absolutely delicious.

For the curry connoisseur Blackburn is awash with a plethora of quality Indian takeaways. Supply clearly outstrips demand which has always kept prices competitive for years. I’ve supported sooooo many of them both throughout the Covid pandemic and beyond and there’s not much to choose between most of them flavour-wise. So what now differentiates them for me for the first time is cost which again admittedly there’s not much difference - £20 on average for 2 meals even in this “cost of living crisis.” Tonight I decided to try India2U for the first time. Food was ok (usual tasty indian flavours that I can get from most established takeaways) cost of food - £20…..but then charged £3.50 for delivery!! £3.50? Come on, I know petrol is expensive but £3.50 for 1.5 miles delivery. So in summary, the food was ok (usual flavour I can get from 100s of local takeaways) but extortionate deliver cost means I can’t recommend the establishment and won’t be returning.

Bad customer service when they missed out an item from my order. Then had the cheek to tell me they would bring the item but I have to Pay them for delivery AGAIN even though I already paid them £4 for deliver for my original order.

Masala sauce is lovely. Chips are greasy like a fairground ride- So much oil and over cooked. The chicken tikka roll is the most vile thing I have ever been served. How is it possible to have a raw AND burnt naan? Shocked at how bad this was. The tikka smelt like it could make me ill. Quite sad as last time we ordered from here it was lovely. The man who answered the phone was really nice. Such a shame as it was a really simple, fast order and it was totally ruined. The naan was like my toddler had made a pancake very, very badly. Perhaps close earlier to ensure your food stays good quality if your staff are tired. Hate to leave a bad review but it was really a waste of money.

Ordered tonight based on good reviews. They arrived at the time stated and food was tasty, but I had lamb and it was very fatty, think they could be more selective on quality of lamb pieces, dips and sauces were good 5 out of 10

Best curry around. Only problem is they don't deliver, however its worth the drive to collect. My boys are fascinated by watching them cook.

Visited this takeaway 2 weeks running, the food is so good. First week, opting for Onion Bhaji and Chicken Pakora as starters. A medium strength Jalfrezi with a garlic Nan and Chips. Tonight, Poppadoms, Chicken Pakora once again. Then, a Chicken Balti with Chips and Nan. Enough food for 2 people. Absolutely beautiful, so fresh tasty. Highly Recommended.

Ordered from India 2 U on three occasions, all three unfortunately were disappointing. I always give somewhere three tries and will not make any judgements off one order alone. The last time I ordered, I had just gotten home and was looking forward to a family meal, we found several pieces of short hair within the food that was a different hair colour to everyone that was eating the food and the Chicken Tikka Massala's tasted like expired cream/milk. Due to the pandemic I had hoped that the hygiene would have heightened the standards to ensure all meals were safe to eat, it seems this wasn't the case. It was a shame as it cost over £30 and it all ended up in the bin. Will not be ordering here again and would not recommend.

I moved to Leyland 18 months ago and still travel here for the occasional take away. We have never had any complaint about either the food or service here . It's honestly the best Indian takeaway that we can find.

Ordered a takeaway, only collection available. Arrived and the waiting area is busy with customers, no 6 foot rule observed and people packed in. Chefs not wearing masks whilst cooking. Cash payment only so if someone has Coronavirus and passes over the money, your plastic gloves won’t help stop the spread of it. I’d imagine you are not washing your hands with gloves on so probably spreading it around your takeaway even more. Not worth taking the risk until they take their hygiene and safety measures seriously!

Second time using this take away and don't know why we left it so long. Absolutely fantastic food from the starters to the mains to the Garlic Naan and very speedily delivered about 30 minutes after ringing up. Best Prawn Puri I've ever tasted. Will definitely use again!!!

We phoned up tonight while driving back from a trip out. The meal was very nearly ready when we arrived. I had the chicken cham cham with boiled rice and an onion bhaji. The food was delicious as always and a good portion size. The staff are always friendly and helpful. This takeaway has an open kitchen and pride themselves on allowing customers to see what is going on. Cant wait to go back and try another dish.

Delivery ordered and arrived earlier than time indicated. Pappadams were missing, but they brought them quickly after phoning up. Food probably best takeaway Indian from Darwen. Really enjoyed it. Would use again

Been using India 2 u for many years. Food is so good from here. Always consistent. Naan breads to die for, all greasy and moist but in a really good way, you can eat one on its own! Regularly get a meal from here and take it to my boyfriends in Doncaster because no where else is as good.

Once again a lovely take away. Kids enjoyed Chicken Tikka Masala whilst we loved prawn puree and lamb puree for starters. Couldn't manage the mains so having those tonight. Cant wait!!

Read glowing reviews so decided to give it a go. We usually have to travel to Blackburn or Preston for a decent authentic curry. Starter to share was nice enough, but small. Mushroom rice was good, so too were our curries. The Peshwari Nan was disappointing - no cherries or sultanas, just a load of desiccated coconut. It’s nice to see your food being cooked, but a little concerning to see men with long beards cooking with no beard nets on them. Why cash only and no receipts given?

My friends and I always get India 2 U on our regular curry nights. We have been going for years and we are never disappointed! Food is always consistent and very nice! Portion sizes are very good and enough to share!

Had takeaways delivered from here twice recently. Food is very good. Meat samosas and seekh kebab were excellent. King prawn dansak (asked for it hot) and chicken tikka madras (asked for as medium) were both very tasty cooked to the requested heat. Even though the restaurant is 10 minutes away from us, the food was delivered within 30 minutes.

We return to Darwen every summer to visit family and always make sure we get a take away from India2u. The food is consistently excellent and we especially like the lamb rogan josh and kebab rolls. Friendly staff and fresh tasting ingredients make this my favourite Indian takeaway.

Used this takeaway more than any other in the area. The food is excellent, the cooking is all done in view, the phone is constantly ringing with orders so it’s obviously very popular. One meal plus rice and naan is enough for two people. Never been disappointed by India 2 U and I can’t say that about any other takeaway.

Ordered from here food was ok but ordered 2 starters and had to share mint sauce as you only get 1 with 2 starters but if you order just 1 starter you get one don’t think it’s right food

We go to India 2 U about once a month and the food is really fantastic. Our special treat is Chicken Tikka Balti Dhal which is the best Indian meal we've ever had. The only problem is that it is cash only and in this day and age you have to accept card payments.

Just had our first take away from here but definitely won't be our last! I had lamb Karahi and my husband had chicken tikka Karahi. The lamb and chicken were both tender and the sauce was just wonderful! It's the best curry I've tasted more suited to a restaurant than a takeaway. We went into the takeaway to order and asked if we could have it delivered (a small £1.50 charge) the staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend India 2 U highly enough.

This is my go to for Indian food! Me and my partner come here all the time, and we always go into the shop and sit and watch the chefs cook our food. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them! Absolutely amazing.

We've used this take-away since it opened over 10 years ago,and I have to say that the quality has always been fantastic. Our favourite is the king prawn Zafrani which comes with shells on and is just delicious. This is without doubt the best Indian takeaway in the area and supercedes most restaurants we've eaten at also. The service is always prompt and the food arrives hot and well packaged. They charge around £2 for delivery which is reasonable, and the food prices are probably slightly higher than other take-aways but you pay more for quality right? Try here, you won't be disappointed.

We have tried a number of indians in Darwen and surrounding areas and I've got to say this is definately the best. The guys on the phone are always so polite, the foods always piping hot and arrives well within the time stated. Even when they say it will be an hour or so it always comes within 30 minutes and Ive got to say at least their honest if they are busy and dont lie about it like certain take aways in Darwen. The food is always exactly what we order and so tasty. The father in law recently insisted on going his usual indian and ive got to say it wasnt a patch on india2u. Excellent food, reasonably priced and fantastic customer service. What more can you ask for :)

I love this place it is the only Indian takeaway I use! Delivery is more often than not super quick and the staff are always friendly and helpful should I go in for collection. The food is always tasty and full of flavour and the chips are exactly as I like them! Would recommend every time.

Been using this place 2 or 3 times a month for the last couple of years. always good & consistent. If they say your meal will be ready in 15 minutes, they mean it, never had to wait longer than they say.

Had this last Saturday night / firstly the sauces and onions etc that come with the poppadoms are delish, garlic naan brilliant and the meals super yummy. It always arrives hot (takes a while) but totally worth the wait !!

We have used this take away regularly but have not reviewed it. The menu is very good and extensive, the food is always good quality and value. My only criticism is that the Shammi kababs are too salty. I have not had any food delivered so cannot comment.

Really good food. This is my second use. The forst time i had the meal delivered and the second time I collected. With the kitchen visable you can watch and smell meals being cooked. They make a good tasty meal.

Food ok but delivery sevice no good. We ordered at 5.35 pm and told food would be with us in 25 to 30 mins but after ringing several times food turned up at 8.25pm stone cold. We had to send it back and cook something ourself. Best to pick it up yourself.
