This is just 200 yards from our workplace, so is done to death by all our staff. Awesome quality burger, and the midweek specials of an authentic curry, chips, and drink for a fiver is brilliant value. And surprisingly is absolute top notch taste as well for the money, makes you wonder how restaurants charge 3-4 times more for the lesser quality curries.

We Tried the Jaw Breaker and peri Smash Burger today and it was amazing. Best burger I’ve had. Beats anyone else in Blackburn all day long. I need to try the rest now :)

Ordered several burger meals. Firstly, the mix smash burger meal which comes with a chicken and beef patty. Freshly made and melted cheese makes the burger absolutely delicious. With salad and chilli sauce adds that extra kick. Also, the kebab roll in a fresh naan is very tasty. The curries from Eastern Delight have always been delicious too and can cater for individuals to how spicy or mild you want. This place has excellent customer service and always has the food ready on time. The portions are very generous and prices are on the low side. Thanks again Mo

I started to go here regularly now. I’ve had the currys before and they are on point. Home style curries so u dont get all the upset stomachs like other places. I tried the whole baby chicken they do as i had started working out. I now go there Mon-Fri without fail!! Definitely worth a visit

This place is ok if you need a quick bite for lunch. Staff are really friendly, the place is nice and clean with an open kitchen and they do different lunchtime specials (usually 3 different dishes everyday) for a very reasonable £3 per deal. For example you can get a lamb or chicken curry plus 2 chappatis or a rice dish, they do lamb biryani on fridays i think. Would recommend as good value for money.

Lamb biriyani and paya are very tasty and the spice is just right. Paya (lamb trotter), can't be cooked by anyone it takes experience numerous times to get the taste right. For Blackburn I would say Eastern Delight make the best Paya. Get down on Tuesday's and give it a try.

Went here for lunch with a friend, chose a dish from the daily specials and it wasn't your usual curry, it was a proper indian home style curry which was served with 2 chappatis and the best thing was curry and 2 chappatis just £3 absolute bargain for the quality of food. I also noticed it was a family run business with father and son, who were very friendly too.

Whilst working in the area I was told that they did a range of take away curries for just £3. Ordered a lamb curry which tasted authentic, though the roti was thick and hard to chew. During the visit I noticed that one chap was eating behind the counter, the floor was dirty and there was a general atmosphere of uncleanliness. This prompted me to check their FSA food hygiene rating on-line. Disgusted to find that it was 2/5 (requires improvement).

Best Indian food in Darwen. The gentlemen who have always worked there are always so lovely, polite and professional. Last night they had a young member of staff front of house who I had never met before. He lacked knowledge, was confrontational and rude. I requested a mild saagwala which he corrected me and said "we don't do a saagwala" I said you do its on your menu. He tried to correct me and said "we do a saag not a saagwala". I said it's the same thing. Then he was really insistent that I had rice and chips which I insisted I didn't want. Then when I arrived the receipt didn't state "mild" so I questioned it. He said "all saags are mild" I said they aren't and your menu literally states "medium to hot". I wasn't sure if he was speaking to me like this because I was a woman. But it made me really uncomfortable and upset me. Especially when I have never had a bad experience over the last 8 years of going here... Because there are no prices online or on their takeaway menu (which is bizarre, it made me feel nervous, like i was being scammed - especially after how he was talking to me) I requested the normal menu to cross check which he got a little nervous over. It wasn't correct but it was close enough that i didnt say anything. But really prices need to be transparent online and on their takeaway menu especially since prices everywhere have increased. This situation sadly put me off but I do also know how great it has been in the past. He might just need some training from the original staff but i wont be interacting with him again.
