Haldi was mine and my partners favourite Indian restaurant/takeaway for years and we recommended it to so many people as the food was delicious and amazing. Sadly this is no longer the case. The last year or so the food has been steadily going downhill and today’s meal was the final straw. Curries were bland, far too watery and just tasted of sugar. The meat in the curries was over boiled and had a mushy texture. Popadoms stale. Onion bhajis so bland that the only flavour was oil. I’m really upset to be writing this review as the food used to be so good, sadly the standard has slipped so much that I don’t think I’ll even try another meal from here again. HALDI IF YOU READ THIS, please employ new chefs because the ones you have clearly don’t care about your reputation or your customers.

Easily the best curry around, food is soft and juicy all around brilliant. Service is great cause when the guy brings you his food, he announces it to you, idk how to describe it, but I call him the announcer, you'll know what I mean if you come in. Would recommend the chicken saag and onion bhaji.

Ordered online. Easy to order. Collected my order, service was great. It was extremely busy and I was asked politely to take a seat for 5mins. I overheard a telephone order, they were told their order could be over 1hr 40mins and still decided to order. I understand why they were willing to wait when I got home and opened my food. Everything was so fresh and tasted delicious. I will recommend this little hidden gem to everyone.

I rate this takeaway as 1 of the best in a 10 mile radius . Growing up and going to school in Rusholme Manchester around around the curry mile and spending a lot of time both working and holidaying in INDIA,i feel i can class myself as a connoisseur when it comes to knowing the diffrence between an excellent curry and a poor run of the mill one.

Wondered if this must be under new ownership. Not the usual lovely, polite, friendly chap on the phone to take our order. Never had a bad meal visiting here or takeaway until this evening. An hour late, no apology, not the usual standard of food. Really disappointed. Will not bother with them again.

Eaten here on three separate occasions now, Christmas Eve, Valentines Day and weeknight for a birthday. Each time the food had been consistently excellent, great friendly service and fantastic value for money. Food is always hot and tasty. Great that this is out local go to Indian restaurant. So much on the menu to choose from. Would definitely recommend 👌🏻

We order from here on a regular basis but tonight was a serious disappointment! Over £30 of food was shocking quality. First of all we gave delivery driver £2 tip he then asked for change as we paid with 2 £20 notes and when we said no he pulled a bag full of change out, seems to me he wanted to keep the 10er! The onion bhajis were dry and hard, butter chicken was cold and I could’ve put the window through with the meat, the rice was cold and the chips tasted stale and the garlic naan was pretty much raw! Back to Rhodes tandoori in future one thinks!
