We have been coming here for quite a while now and the food is never anything less than superb, Saji’s gets a taste and flavour no other Indian Restaurant can manage , anywhere ! They don’t serve alcohol although allow you to take your own, and supply glasses and make no charge for this, the staff are always pleasant and the service excellent, we travel from Durham regularly to eat here and will continue to do so, were addicted!!

Very lovely staff but unfortunately the food was terrible. The burger was very cheap meat and the most dry burger I have ever eaten. It wouldn't even bend, clearly been reheated. The chips were undercooked and the potato was very starchy. There was also loads more rice and barely any curry, however the curry was nice . The chapati was OK. Unfortunately I dont think I will be ordering from here again, which is a shame as it is highly rated.

Thank you to all the amazing team at Jamdani for yet again another beautiful meal with our family this evening over the Christmas period. We love the food and front of house here, it never fails to disappoint. The spicy tarka Dahl is a highlight for me personally, along with lamb chops, Dhansak and tikka main; but all the food is fresh and delicious, and the kitchen is adaptable to make adaptations at request. The service is always warm and welcoming and the team go out of their way to make a special evening every time. Take aways are equally good, all reasonably priced, hot and fresh. Thank you to all the team at Jamdani- we always look forward to our next visit! Wishing you success for 2025- see you very soon! Mel & Family.

First time visit to this lovely Indian restaurant and we weren't disappointed! Lovely decor ,friendly ,welcoming, attentitive and efficient staff. The menu offers unique and healthy Indian cuisine, competitively priced. We had poppadums and pickles to start with a complementary shot of mango lassi. I had an AMAZING and tasty Fish and prawn Rogan which came with veg pilau rice and a side of sag paneer...DELICIOUS! We were then treated to another complementary amuse bouche ..an Indian street food crispy rice ball with tamarind sauce . Yum! The wine which accompanied it all was a sauvignon blanc and then a pint grigio ..both were top quality. An enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. We will definitely do it again!

Very welcoming atmosphere. Comfortable table at the front of the restaurant with plenty room for us all. Recommendations for vegetarians and vegans were gladly offered. Service is unobtrusive, with a smile, and with a check that our food was OK. Great choice of drinks both on drought and bottles. Good choice of wine and Prosecco . Food is well presented. Well cooked and an amazing range of flavours in every dish. Tried some dishes we’d never had before and were so pleased as they were delicious. Probably one of the best vegetarian menus we’ve sampled at an Indian restaurant. Loved the sparkler attached to our bottle of bubbles! See you soon guys!

Had a lovely lunch in here for my Sister’s Birthday. Staff members are absolutely wonderful. Polite, helpful and lovely people. The atmosphere is something out of the Hobbit or Harry Potter. Portions were massive, with fresh homemade chips. Pizza tasted great. Will definitely be going back.

Horrible ordered a king prawn curry I had 1 prawn chopped into 5 Pieces after paying extra for king prawns absolute disgrace was no meat at all 5 pieces of prawn about the size of a 5p. Coin was only 1 prawn if that curry wasn’t cooked for long enough spices still tasted raw below average curry mixed kebab was very poor all in all wasn’t worth £21 pound chef needs sacked

First up I have to say what a fantastic reception we got from all the staff, so friendly and a delight. The food was outstanding, it seemed like a throw back to restaurant food 15 years ago, and thats a good thing. Mixed kebab starter, onion bhaji was so light it was incredible, kebabs really good, when I say a throw back, they had a deep red colour of old, the pickle tray had really big portions which was nice. Currys where the real highlight mind, so tasty, chicken tikka meat in my curry was bright red again, but so tender and full of flavour. I like keema rice, but it is often very greasy, this wasn't, I would say it was the best keema rice I've had, naan bread again, soft, fluffy, superb. I will definitely be back on my next trip to this area.
