Spice Kitchen in Gateshead

Very lovely staff but unfortunately the food was terrible. The burger was very cheap meat and the most dry burger I have ever eaten. It wouldn't even bend, clearly been reheated. The chips were undercooked and the potato was very starchy. There was also loads more rice and barely any curry, however the curry was nice . The chapati was OK. Unfortunately I dont think I will be ordering from here again, which is a shame as it is highly rated.

Food was fine but delivered cold. Nan bread was to crisp to eat....maybe an off night.

Ordered pizza, donner meal. Food was fresh and delicious. Salad was missed. Whoever packs the food needs to use a simple checklist. Tick things off as they pop them in the bag. Get this right and you will be one of the best takeaways in the area.

One out of two meals was incredibly spicey (surpassing what is usual for a jelfrazi) and as a result was inedible. This was very disappointing as we ended up having to share meals

I've never had a kebab wrap with a naan bread before. it was nice but you got hardly any kebab meat. the naan bread was sort of sweet so was a bit bizarre.

Food arrived 2 and a half hours late after numerous phone calls. shop then rang us back to say if you ring up for your next order we will give you 50 percent discount in which we thought ok, cant get it right every time. so today 27/8/17 rang up to claim our 50 percent discount to be told no I cant do that I ca give you 2 pounds off your order. total disgrace wont use again and I hope the shop reads this review. absolute joke!!!!

Food came piping hot and on time. Can totally reccomend the donner sizzler its a total treat for the taste buds like no other kebab around. Fab local place to order from.

I am disgusted spent £6.10 on 3 small pieces of chicken and cold keebab i ordered ( mixed chicken keebab) but ended up with 3 small pieces of chicken and cold keebab meat so disapointed wont be ordering again !!

Food was nice but wasn't impressed with the amount 3 bits chicken about 6 chips thought kebabs were alot bigger than that for the price

It s the first time I have used this takeaway as it was recommended by a mate down the street who uses this place all the time so I decided to put my order in as its been a long time since I have had a Indian meal The menu was good with pleanty of choice and value for money Our order was delivered 20 mins early excellent start The food was hot good portion size and very tasty Well done spice kitchen you have a new happy costermer will defiantly reorder again Many thanks John b

Great, really like this place.

Ordered chicken tikka kebab, however we only received normal chicken. The kebab itself was small for the price, not a lot of chicken in it. The chicken was not great quality either. I will not be ordering from here again.

Arrived 20 minutes early, great tasting food at a good price. Banquet meal is the best of all similar deals around.

I always leave good reviews for this place but something I thought worth mentioning is the Lamb is amazing and always tender. most other places selling Lamb you can't even chew and alot sell mutton. I can honestly say ordered Lamb 10 times now and always spot on very impressed.

Usually nice from here but for the 2nd time pizza was supposed to be a veggie hot and it was just normal veggie pizza the food was nice but it wasn't a hot veggie pizza my friends pizza had all the spice but mine didn't the chips are very yummy though

Chicken tikka masala had no taste. Rice was watery

Weird tasting garlic sauce, which had opened so was everywhere. Kebab was horrible, meat all one taste and colour, soggy naan bread. Garlic bread was good.

Ordered my food at 22:40 delivery time had 10 extra mins added do said 23:35 for delivery. Food was at my door at 23.05, red hot. Never been let down by this plate. 👍👍👍

Fantastic food and delivery time

Although I usually enjoy spice kitchen tonight I was disappointed. My pizza was stone cold, my onion bajis were greasy and I was not happy about paying extra for some mint sauce which was half full!!!

Madras could be been a bit hotter but the food was really nice. Think I have just found my new Indians...

Food was not nice dripping in grease, even pizza base dripping in grease, won't be ordering again.

Food was really cold like ice cold. But I've ordered from here loads of time and food is normally amazing so can't leave a bad review for just one time.

One of the best Indian deliveries we've tasted

I ordered a pizza deal 1. On the menu it says 12 pizza, 10" garlic bread, garlic dip and 1 canned drink. Unfortunately when the meal arrived there was no garlic bread. This made me a little sad. Apart from that the meal was lovely and fast delivery. Was too tired to contact the restaurant at the time.

Absolute terrible 24 pound for idians and it was absolute rank not a pick of taste like water with food colouring!!! vile do not recommend at all!!! The bin was well fed!!!!
