The best restaurants serving Indian food in London

Just had a takeaway of 3x malai curry as we have always enjoyed this. BUT ... these currys were awful.States calcutta prawns spiced mooli Brussel spouts ... 1 whole Brussel sprout ?? ...used to be sliced up to go further with the taste & texture. Prawns tasted processed with a batter soggy outter coating... never had this before. What's happened??? New chef ? New recipe ? Certainly, I won't be ordering again with this declining quality. Sadly going downhill and you will lose a lot of customers including me

5 star restaurant! Not only is this my favourite local restaurant this is probably my favourite restaurant for food! Just everything about this restaurant is great! From the owner, staff and always the best food! It never disappoints it’s always great every time! I always go with my husband and two children and the owners always make us feel welcomed and go above and beyond. Honestly I could come here once a week if I could! Definitely the best Indian food local and also in London in my opinion. I know there are other Indian restaurants that try and do it differently or a la carte but it’s never as good as this place. They serve Hyderabadi food, but we've been visiting for a couple of years now, and it seems the taste has changed. It's not the same as it was when we first started coming

I went with my family the food is amazing being Indian it reminded me of my grandparents cooking service was great children enjoyed it will be back soon

Solid boozer, great place to watch the football. Cheap pints and pool table.

Nice restaurant. Good food & service. Sheek kebabs & meat samosas for starters. Great presentation & super tasty. Chicken korma & chicken dansak, plus pilau rice, plain rice & plain naan for mains. Very nice indeed.

I had a fantastic experience at Puraan! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great service and a tasty meal!

Omg like how good was that the beaf was perfectly cooked we came with 15 people and they served everything within 30 min We ordered like 25 different items I’m proud of them they cooked everything good I would recommend the big daddy wrap it’s a fan favourite

Had a delivery and the chicken tikka malasa had a strange sweet taste - the paneer tasted like old frying oil and the dhal was mediocre as well. The raita wasn't tasty either... do not recommend...

This restaurant is really great - lovely atmosphere with great food and service - the staff really made the experience great as they were a fabulous mix of engaging and efficient! Would highly recommend it and we’ll definitely be back!
