After we week of eating western food, we enjoyed the Satvik Indian vegetarian food. During our 2 visits we’d tried their 3 thalis- Large, Deluxe and Govinda’s which was very sumptuous and we left with a belly full of happiness. Their Shirkhand is a must try.

I love coming to Govinda’s every time I’m travelling as I don’t eat onion and garlic and they have the whole menu without og, which makes it easy for me while travelling. The place is a part of Iskcon and people are religious here that makes the environment calm and spiritual.

One star is too much for this pretentious dodgy place. The food is terrible for a start.. My wife was harassed by a fella who claimed to be sincere.. He flirted with her while she was trying to spend quiet time on her japa meditation. It doesn't get more disgusting. We're not going back. Good for you we didn't report it to the police. We leave you to Krishna; His punishment is more than what the police can do. We will sit back and watch.

The food was really good and quite reasonable for Central London. However, the lady serving was really rude which was unexpected at a devotional centre. Please don’t ruin the fame of ISKCON if you can’t handle personal stress.

Very tasty food. The service is nice, but it is truly a fast food restaurant and as soon as the plates are empty, the waiters gently ask out to make room for other guests, but this is not a reason not to visit this place with delicious food

If you're looking for authentic (quite a few options) Indian food then Govinda's is THE place to be.

We arrived as a family at this restaurant based on the advice of the Routard guide. Improved canteen-style restaurant run by people from the Hari Krishna community. Easy to understand formula (Thali trays). Tap water available free of charge after the counter. Tasty, healthy, nourishing and inexpensive meal! Highly recommended.

Found after a wrong turn and we decided to enjoy lunch here.vAmazing food in a captivating environment. Don't be put off by the canteen dining style as the flavours and quality of the food are exceptional.

The food was really good and I would highly recommend. The staff were also very nice. I would suggest indulging in the veggie burger as well as the chilli paneer.

Portions were big and quite cheap, so you won’t leave hungry, but that was the worst indian food I’ve ever eaten. Except for creamy paneer, every dish was bland. The lentil soup tasted like water with turmeric. Won’t recommend to eat here.

I spotted this address while looking for an Indian restaurant, when I arrived I hesitated, it didn't look like much, once I took the step the experience was full of flavors!! It's a canteen where you choose what type of plates you want (the number of dishes that will make up your platter), all the dishes are made with 100% Vegetarian and Vegan ingredients for some, I opted for the large plate to taste lots of dishes in one and well I was transported!! Each portion had a unique taste, a flavor of its own, all well controlled from spices to spicy curry... It's really perfectly balanced giving sensations in the mouth! I enjoyed it and even more, I was transported in taste! The young women who work there are really adorable with their warm smiles! A faultless one for my part.
