Why would you not have lunch at Govinda’s? Lovely homemade authentic Indian style thalis served with love in a relaxed and friendly sit all together dining room. Even waiting your turn at the counter is fun. All of Soho life is here. Office workers, families on a day out, backpackers and old ladies like me. I had a proper hot meal for £10.

Absolutely amazing authentic food. Fresh, delicious with a very reasonable price. We will be back again as enjoyed every thing that was in our thali.

Spirituality uplifting food that is wholesome, vegetarian/vegan and tasty. Came here with a friend to catch up in central London and was blown away by the great good options, amazing customer service and fantastic place to eat. I ate the deluxe thali and loved it, my friend had the spinach pie and one of the cakes, also lovely. This place really made me happy eating here, make sure you don't miss out!

Met up with former colleague for a pleasant lunch at Govinda's. We had the Large platters which were delicious, substantial portions and very filling. The restaurant was busy which is a good sign that people enjoy the food there. Had an enjoyable visit and will return to try something from your dessert cabinet as well next time.

Just a wonderful place! The food is great, the staff are friendly, the patrons are accommodating (which is great as you share tables) and if that weren't enough, there has been prayers said over the food. Must visit for veggies (and vegans as there is vegan options)

Nothing wrong with the food, it's just a guy working there served food with same hands he scratched his front with .... When I mentioned this to the lady at the till, she said yes I understand it is quite disgusting but he is senior to me , so how can I tell him not to do such things if you are serving food . I was stunned by her response nd suggested her to inform this to someone she is comfortable in talking to so that he can explain the staff. It was disgusting ..

I first came to this restaurant in 1980 and have seen and experienced all the changes and transformations. The latest set up is very impressive and effecient. The team dont let you dream too long (!) and in quick time you are sitting with your Prasadam. Keep up the good work. Hare Krsna 🙏

This place for me it’s the best Indian food in town. The prices are very good and the food authentic and delicious. Whenever I am in town I need to pop up here even if only for their delicious samosa. The customer service is also great. Lots of happiness I must say. Only vegetarian food is served but we don’t miss the meat with all the delicious flavours on each portion.

Govinda’s is one of the best places to have great vegetarian food in London.

It is wonderful divine place including Govinda's restaurant. As compared to Watford temple, this temple is easily reachable using public transport.

I always pass this place and I never went, but today I decided to go and let me tell you it’s really amazing, affordable food without compromising the flavour. This is the first place that the reviews was accurate!

Lovely food, excellent value for money. But very busy, cramped tables, hurried atmosphere. Only one choice of vegan cake which was a dense sponge covered in a sticky topping. No real flavour just sweet.

Crazy busy but food very good I couldn't eat it all nor could my wife. Very cheap eats for center if London.

I always come here when I am missing my mum's cooking. The food brings me warmth, comfort, and that feeling of home all wrapped in one. Their vegan thali is delicious - quick and friendly service, great portion sizes, lots of variety and fills you up. I even tried their vegan cake, which tasted amazing! Very happy and grateful. Amazing vegetarian/vegan place! The Krsna-devotees know how to cook. They have a range of different size of thali’s, extra’s like samosa’s or aloo tikki, and also lassi en desserts. Prices are very reasonable. Most is vegan. If I lived in London I would come here every week. It’s next to a KRSNA-temple.

Paneer plate was amazing, it looks like a small serving but it’s actually the perfect amount. Chili paneer and lentil soup were delicious.

After we week of eating western food, we enjoyed the Satvik Indian vegetarian food. During our 2 visits we’d tried their 3 thalis- Large, Deluxe and Govinda’s which was very sumptuous and we left with a belly full of happiness. Their Shirkhand is a must try.
