Rajal is an amazing guy, gave the best advice on what to eat and boy, did he pick well. My meal was amazing! Best lamb Korahi ever! Such juicy and tasty lamb, plenty of just cooked to perfection onions and peppers, GORGEOUS! My friend had Butter Chicken, again perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sweetness to spice, with juicy chicken, with tasty rice on the side. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time I am in London. Thanks for a great evening x

Absolutely amazing service and atmosphere, lovely easy-going and generous people. Gorgeous restaurant inside and out. I feel that if you have a western palate, this place will suit you but it’s not traditional Indian food. It’s quite light, the curry was more like a stew, the dry vegetables have minimal spice. Nonetheless, they were kind professional and it was still a good meal, just more light and fresh rather than intense India flavours

Absolutely loved the food here! The flavors were authentic, and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Fantastic meal service brilliant by rajal

Went in with a friend having found the place by accident. Was persuaded to visit by the great revues. We weren't disappointed. The service was spot on, the ambiance very pleasant and the food was awesome. We were looked after very well by Kalid, who couldn't do enough to make our visit awesome. Will definitely visit again.

Really nice restaurant - we went from a booking via first table and was very easy and clear to organise. Food was great especially the garlic prawn starter and the garlic naan - the tikka masala was good too but quite sweet (they did let us know beforehand that it was mild though, so not an issue). Rajal served us and was very attentive and gave us a shot on the house at the end! Thanks very much :)

I had the lamb jalfrezi wirth a garlic naan and a mango lassi and they were all great. Service is very attentive and they come around a couple of times to ensure that you have everything you need. The price is reasonable for the quality of food and service. The location is nice. No strong smell of food despite being inside.

Nice and clean location. Pleasant and not loud environment. Very good vegetarian food choices. Although it's written on the menu that everyone must order a main dish (?), we had several starter portions of main dishes. And it's been very delicious. Staff was very prompt and friendly (special mention for Khalid). It's been a good timing, with no waiting for the food. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for Indian cuisine!

Khalid’s service is amazing and he was very proactive in suggesting the recommended dishes as per the Asian taste. Our kids also enjoyed the food. Naans were so soft thats is rare to get everywhere.

The restaurant is pleasant, the cuisine is quality, the prices are correct, however the insistence of the waiters to force us to leave a very favorable review on Google is not pleasant and leaves an overly commercial impression of the establishment. Damage.

Food was delicious in Central London for Indian food prices are also reasonable and specially the person who was serving was great guy rajal by mistake he poured water into my tonic water so he gave me new tonic water free and he didn't add into the bill so..I liked that

Been here for lunch on 30/8/24, and it was an outstanding meal. Rajal my server was polite, freindly and was prompt and effcient with the service. I had Popdoms which were lovely and could tell the chutneys were homemade. The Lamb starter was delcious the meat was succulent and full of flavour with a refreshing side Salad! For my main I had the Chicken Saag with Rice and Naan and salad. The chicken was succullent and tender in strips and the Naan was tasty and cooked to perfection! Ther servuce and food has been 5* and I highly reccommend. The poritions sizes are perfect and not overwhelming. I usualy come to London every 4 weeks and this will be my new go to for food on the lunch deals or if with freinds the deals for 2 people etc. Looking forward to returning very soon!

⭐ 0 Star **Rude and Disrespectful Behavior After Posting a Review** Our experience at *The India* was deeply disappointing. During our visit, the staff was initially trying to be polite, but we still felt pressured to order more food than we wanted. When my wife politely shared her thoughts on the quality of the food, they seemed to dismiss her opinion. After we posted an honest review on Google, their true colors showed. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, they responded rudely and even insinuated that our budget was too low. This kind of disrespectful behavior towards customers is unacceptable. It's clear they don't value honest feedback, and instead of improving, they resort to belittling their customers. We will not be returning, and I recommend others avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect.

Unexpected rules, forced order rule.I am the customer and decide what to order and how much enough for my family. Don’t judge someone budget.you reply says how much you respect to others. You cheaters.

So delicious! With all of the great Indian food in this city it can be really hard to choose from. Great atmosphere and the servers were so attentive. A special shout out to our server Rajal! I ordered the Goa lamb which literally changed my life and introduced me to a whole new flavor profile! Additionally we had several different dietary restrictions in our party i.e. vegetarian, shellfish allergies, nut allergies, and they were accommodating and could recommend an assortment of foods to suit everyone’s needs. Long story short, good food and good service, good times.

Khaled was our server, we got the okra , dal and sag dishes. Portion size was perfect and all the dishes had a nine homely feel and taste to it. Great service as well. Would visit again.

Incredible traditional food, really loved the Lamb Korma, Saag Paneer, Pilauf rice, Naan and Popadums. Food served piping hot and on heated plates- I love it! Very friendly service- attentive and received a complimentary nightcap drink after the meal. Highly recommend, we will be back!
