Worst taste of food Idly sambar I ordered idly is not nice

While the food or plating looked good, it was just not tasting great. Starting from food colours, just way too much spicy and loses the flavour. Rice was way too dry.

We stopped for a chai. Welcoming restaurant, good smell of cooking. Nice decor. The chai was really tasty.

Please it's a humble request to tiffin box, start your Uber eats or delivroo service. People can't come everyday to the store to eat, while I want to eat your food everyday. Please re-start the delivery service.

What a great place for a fast curry at an amazing price. How they do so many covers in a short space of time always amazes me.

Walked all the way here for dinner only to find they had closed at 6. This is after asking a few days before when they closed and they said 7. Online also says 7.

Small place so if you want to sit for lunch I would suggest getting there early. Fast food. Great portions. Reasonably priced. Halal

oh my god the chicken tikka masala was beautiful. size portions are huge too ! me and my partner shared a chicken tikka wrap meal and still had some left over so you definitely get your moneys worth and more ! friendly service, tender nice chicken and pretty place to dine in. 10/10 will be back again

Cosy establishment serving street food and curry dishes from the Indian subcontinent. Indeed, there’s a large menu encompassing both meat and vegetarian dishes, be it quick eats like vada pav or pav bhaji or heartier fare like butter chicken or methi chicken on rice and paratha. Service is helpful, the premises are clean and portions are sensible. There’s also a large variety of dry and refrigerated items like crisps and snacks with special flavours, as well as soft and alcoholic drinks. Decor is fun.

Today i visited with my friends for lunch, I litterally say that the taste of the food was awful like they serve us stale food and i leftover my whole food in plate, i spent £15 for food and now i’m regerating. Tiffinbox is serving an indian food without an indian taste. I swere, food taste was really really bad. I am not recommeding to anyone to go there and waste money.So, i am requesting to Tiffinbox please serve good taste as you charge big amount. Staff was really good but taste was Zero.I am giving one star but in reality i dont think so it deserves a single star as per food taste.Thank you

Fui allí a almorzar por recomendación de mi hijo y pedí un curry de cordero con una guarnición de Dal. Vino con una porción generosa de arroz y un pan plano, estaba delicioso y el precio era de aproximadamente 12 libras. Excelente comida, y un gran servicio del personal que entrega a su mesa. Los asientos son muy básicos y me dicen que el lugar siempre está lleno a la hora del almuerzo. Regresé unos días después antes de regresar a mi casa en el sudeste asiático. Uno de los mejores currys que he probado y he vivido en Asia durante cerca de 40 años.

Very busy, and not enough seating. However, the food was worth the wait. Great value and very good quality, tasty food.

The idle that they server is not hot and probably stored overnight and sold to you may be in the next day morning. Also person who is billing is so arrogant can't wait for customer to decide on what to order. He was just murmuring in his own language Hindi and frustrated. He could improve his behavior else he may loose some of the daily customer.

I regularly visit for lunch, tried most of the non-veg meals here. Taste is better either with curry or biryani, but meat could’ve been more boiled. Better to avoid food colors(chicken tikka masala). Samosa disappointed me, dry and hard; may be this is a different samosa than commonly consumed. Update: On this monday i tried bombay biryani again, meat is boiled and tastes better. I presume above review is taken into account ☺️

Wasn’t even looking to eat we walked past and the food smelt so good from the street we HAD to try! The food is incredible, delicious, and hearty. Portions are huge for a great price. Try the paratha it is served hot and flaky.

Had a very delicious meal with friends and a great experience, but the staff were even better. Everyone was nice and helpful, with smiles on their faces even though it was near closing time.

How can one not like the Tiffin Box. It's our regular hangout for lunch. Great food with proper Indian flavours. I started avoiding the Brick lane since I started using TB. Keep up the standard lads and I've been a very regular since the last 2 years.

Food was below average taste... best ro skip... the paneer butter masala was just tomato puree and paneer... the naan was store sold naan in tesco or any supermarket... more bread than naan....

We tried this place during lunch time. It is pocket friendly and offers amazing Indian flavor and a good variety of Indian snacks and food. Flavor is rich and spicy so be careful if you aren't so accustomed to strong Indian spices. Even so, it's worth a try. We love this place for the price we pay and the quality of food we get.

Unpretentious but authentic food with a canteen vibe.

Over the last few months, this brilliant local spot has become a firm favourite of mine for a delicious (and very filling!) lunch. I highly recommend the wraps, with Mehti chicken usually being my preferred option. This wrap, paired with the exceptional and freshly-cooked samosas or onion bhajis, is sure to leave you feeling well cared for!

The people are really nice and helpful. I am obviously not an expert of Indian food, but their dishes make me feel at home, every time. I love them and I will forever come back.

A very busy fast food eater, great for a quick affordable nice meal at lunch 5-10min from the heart of the city. It's advisable to know what you want, as there is a queue that clears very quickly and your time to choose comes really rapidly! ;) It's a very small area, and maybe 20-25 seats, kind of similar to canteens at university. We luckily found an area where all 5 of us could sit and eat together I ordered my forever favourite, chicken tikka curry, and garlick naan, and coke zero, and food took 5-10min, drink immediately. We had eaten in another 15, and turnover is just like that, 25min and new people order, sit, eat, and go! The food was good! Service is quick, price not too expensive! It's a good option, very popular, and I'll certainly be back, but maybe once every 2 months...

I recently had the pleasure of working on the food truck of "Tiffin Box" in downtown London. While I was engrossed in fixing the rear indicators, the owner, in an admirable gesture of hospitality, offered me a complimentary lunch. Nostalgically, I chose the Aloo Paratha, a dish close to my heart and reminiscent of home. The presentation was impeccable, complete with a generous serving of sauces, complimentary chickpea curry, and two delightful chutneys. Every bite was a journey back to my mom's kitchen. The flavors were authentic, rich, and I found myself savoring every morsel, even licking my fingers clean! It's been a challenge to find authentic desi food in London, but "Tiffin Box" stands out as one of the best. Highly recommend for anyone craving a touch of home and warm hospitality. The ambiance was reminiscent of old-school Bollywood cafes, exuding a vintage charm that's hard to come by these days. Everywhere I looked, there were subtle nods to classic cinema, and it felt like I was taking a stroll down memory lane in the heart of Bollywood's golden age. Not only was the décor spot on, but the restaurant also championed cleanliness. Every corner was neat, tidy, and maintained with the utmost hygiene. This place is great for quick titbit and located pretty much in central London near Coventry University London campus. You'll have various snacks and meal options if you are craving some nice Indian food. The best dishes on their menu are samosa chaat, bhel, papdi chaat, cheese paratha, aloo paratha, pav bhaji, chole bhature, masala omelet, Mumbai sandwich and biryani. Nowadays, they have added dosa, idli, and dhokla to their menu. They are pretty fast when you order, and the takeaway option is also available. You must not leave without having masala chai if you are a chai lover since that's the best Indian chai I found in London. They treat you with 2 complementary Parle G biscuits with chai. You can also try their mango lassi and nimbu pani which I loved the most, too. They also sell some packed Indian snacks and chai patti if you're looking for some Indian stuff that isn't available in London easily.

Worst food I have ever ate. Paneer was like rock hard and naan 🫓 was like a cold rubber.

Recommend: Dal Puri with Chole and Vada Pav. Be careful with the sambar, can be a bit spicy

Just had an excellent butter chicken. Reasonably priced for the city too.

Hygiene is definitely an issue but food is too good to skip. I would recommend take away as eat in plats and spoons were stained almost everytime I visit for eat in.

Lovely little place, some authentic Indian food. Loved the Bombay sandwich, not so much the dhokla which sat soggy in sugar syrup (wondered if the gulab jamun syrup accidentally fell into the dhokla 😀)

Nice experience. Rush hour due to Lunch time. Ordered Veg. Paneer tikka wrap with wholemeal chapati. It was mouth full of flavour with fries and chutney. Aalo paratha was great with chole, Curd , onion salad and Chutney. Really nice place, tasty food and good portions. very well priced! We only had a few sides but they were really so nice. The workers were kind and helping, the place plays Indian songs and the atmosphere is ok. Really recommend it. I have also uploaded photos of things we have ordered and this will give you nice idea how fulfilling it was.

Its a small Indian restaurant that offers a variety of indian food. The food was tasty and the quantity was good. The place gets pretty busy in the afternoon, you may not find a spot and may have to wait.
