We have lived n Rochford for a while and although we had seen the monsoon restaurant we had not visited it until tonight. Wow, we wish we had visited it before as the restaurant was very comfortable, the staff were so very friendly and the food was exceptional. This restaurant is the best Indian restaurant that we have eaten in and we will definitely be eating there as our regular Indian Restaurant. I can wholeheartedly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to have an exceptional meal as they have with friendly staff the food is excellent value for money. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Absolute rubbish, have taken the money from my bank but no delivery and no answer on the phone, drove to find out where my food is and unable to get there to get into the shop

We are regulars at mim, whether it’s eating in or having a take out. The food and service is outstanding. We are so lucky to have such a great Indian in our little village.

Best takeaway curry around. Have used since moving to the area 3 years ago and trying all the local places and stuck with spice hut.

We ordered a take away and I can hand on heart say that it was the nicest, freshest Indian food I have had in a long time. Friendly service, great food. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you 🙏🏻

Went for a Friday evening was good they have two services 6pm and 8.30pm went for the 8.30pm. Service was good. I think the waiters can come across as a bit abrupt but they are friendly enough if you chat to them. Main thing is the food which was very nice and all brought out in good time. We were next to a large group of men celebrating a birthday so naturally they were fairly loud. But that's probably quite common with Friday night clientele. I would probably go elsewhere if I was looking for a more quiet meal or choose a different day. No probs for us though and we stayed chatting until we were the last ones there and didn't get asked to leave by the staff even though it was 11pm

Very polite and informative on the phone and the delivery excellent too. The food AMAZING.... Only found this resturant because of the lock down.

Last two takeaways have been very poor. We have used the Shuhag for many years but our last takeaways have been bland and watery. Considering using another restaurant.

It wasn’t very warm and a lot of water! The food okay once we bailed out the water. We ate it but wouldn’t return unfortunately.

Usual spoons, top quality drinks, top quality value.... you can't beat a spoons.
