The best restaurants serving Indian food in Colchester East of England

6/10 Experience, Great service- average food. Overall an average experience for both veggies and non-veggies. Great service, very attentive and polite staff. Food was overall alright, very rich with good flavour but a bit overpowering-sickly and therefore not quite to our taste. Value for money was reasonable for what we received and in line with standard prices. Atmosphere wasn’t amazing, but we did visit on a Wednesday.

Food was great but delivery was TERRIBLE 35min late. It's putting us off reordering again from JustEast which is a shame

The best Chicken Biriyani I have eating now from "The Spice Of India" takeaway. I was had lots of takeaway and restaurant in London, Manchester, Bradford. But In Colchester "The Spice Of India" is the best ever. I believe, if you take from them any food, You'll must give them 5★.

The whole vibe is off and staff are rude. It made you feel like a right outsider when you just wanted to come for a friendly drink. Service is poor and one male, presumably the owner kept swearing in front of my kids. Steer clear if you want a nice atmosphere.

First time I’ve ever been let down by Paradise

This has been our take-away for over 15 years, we keep returning because the food was so good & we enjoyed the conversations with staff & customers alike whilst waiting. Unfortunately, our recent orders have been been disappointing and unedible because of the chilli. Every dish is just too hot. You can't taste the difference between dishes, just generic & hot .

Disappointed with my recent experience… I had a good experience the first time I ordered from Grill 66, which is why I decided to order again via Deliveroo. But this time, the service was really poor. The menu clearly stated 4 prawns and 5 dumplings per plate, but I only received 3 prawns and 3 dumplings in each. Despite paying full price, I got less than what was promised. As a returning and faithful customer, this is very disappointing. Not sure if I’ll be ordering again.
