The food was cooked ok, delivery was on time. However I ordered a chapatti and ended up getting a tortilla wrap? A wrap that i could buy a packet of for the price we paid for a chapatti! POOR EFFORT !!

All of the food was cold , the mint yoghurt tasted like cheap toothpaste, the food was of poor standard I definitely won’t be ordering again that’s for sure

I ordered 4 chapatis with some shashlik and tandoori. They were not chapatis, but white flour tortillas. Really disappointing. The lamb shish was fatty and over cooked.

why ask when you want delivery then bring it half hour early.

Ordered chapatis got tortilla wraps, yes tortilla wraps how stupid. Paid for 4 poppadoms (you usually get these for free) I got 2. Ordered a chicken madras I got a Madras no chicken. Absolutely abysmal service when calling up to query.

Food arrived late, the food that was delivered was not that we ordered and the driver was incredibly unhelpful

Food was Overall quite greasy. The sag paneer had the smallest pieces of cheese ever and there were only about 4 bits in there. The rest was just greasy oily spinach. Naan bread was only quite oily. Disappointing all round

My food never came i called the restaurant they said the driver had flat tyre and he would come and they never came 3 hours later still no food terrible!

The delivery main did not observe social distancing. A pilau rice was missing. The vegetable side dish was wrong.

We're new to the area, took a chance based on the existing reviews. Wow - very impressed! No oil slick in the containers, good quality Chicken & Lamb in the dishes, actually tasted according to what the ingredients indicated it would be like - pretty rare in my experience. Can't fault it and I'm pedantic about take away food, usually disappointed and rarely order in.

Waited nearly 2 hours for food when arrived I ordered the chicken korma and it was tasteless and had no coconut which is the main taste and Naan bread was soggy never again would I order

Food was barely warm and the Naan breads were so dry and seemed a bit stale so went in the bin, the chicken Tikka starter was also dry, unfortunately not a great experience

The dilvery was so good understanding thankyou. but the food was awful Its was hot but its not that the vegetable porkra not how you make then breadcrumb in vegetable they was nasty the chips was cold and the curry was not fresh. The poperdom was not even fresh they dry and soft. Never again

Disgusting service food never arrived service appalling

Food was good - except missing a peshwari naan and getting plain instead (despite paying for the higher priced item). Food arrived over an hour earlier than requested - why ask for a delivery time and then ignore it?!? Disappointed

Ordered from here a few times but this time one of the curries came all watery and bland and the popadoms were stale, rang the restaurant to ask for a replacement and was refused and also were very rude, complained to just eat who unfortunately can’t help as we paid via cash! Will not be ordering from here again and photos will be sent to trading standards disgusting

Naan bread came cold, and the tandoori chicken was tough and chewy. Won’t be ordering again.

Food delivery was very prompt and the food was of good quality. The only downside was that the saag aloo was spicer than what I have had from other restaurants but I think that is more of a preference thing than anything else. Overall, really good value for money and will most likely order from here again!

Curry bland and watery. Bhajis very greasy and overdone, naan may aswell have been plain rather than peshwari, keema naan had little to no meat. Sauces to go with poppadoms watered down. Wouldn’t recommend, won’t order from them again. Delivery was on time though.

First time I’ve ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. Starter: Tandoori chicken. Average & cold. Main: cinnamon special chicken. Didn’t realise I ordered a chicken stew. Also bland & cold. Saag aloo. Below average. Also cold. Rice. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Also cold. Salad garnish for Tandoori chicken, surprisingly warm. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Certainly won’t be ordering again.

Ordered later Saturday night order was delivered slightly earl and was hot and tasty the biryani was very good and the naan delicious.

0 stars! Food was delivered 2 hours after placing the order and was watery and cold! After checking where the food was the first time, we were told we would receive a full refund if the order still wasn't with us after another 15 minutes, we would get a full refund. 25 minutes later... still no food and the manager refused a refund! Terrible food quality, service and delivery. Save yourself the hassle and order somewhere else!

Very expensive for quantity of food plus disappointed that the total before discount was £32.00 yet not much food to show for it for another £10 we could have fed 9 of us from a different takeaway. For the money we paid you would expect at least one free poppadom and salad for the onion Bhaji. Very disappointed. Food did taste ok though.

The tikka briyani was far too salty

We ordered this food and then it got to about 10 minuets after the delivery due time and so I called the restaurant to be told the delivery driver had gone back to the restaurant as they were unable to find us! I spoke with the driver and they brought the food back however it wasn’t as nice as it would’ve been if it had come straight away. The potato’s were watery, the nann was soggy and the curry was like warm.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I was very disappointed with the food I received. Everything was dripping in grease and the popadoms were soft and soggy.

Bland bland bland. Peshwari naan tasted like a plain one, and the coconut was sand like, same with the rice, the pathia was just bland, spicy but not much flavour.

Delivery driver rude and clearly doesn't look at address numbers and take directions when given them.

The chicken in both mains were lovely and tender. Only small negative were that the onion Bhaji's were on the small side (flat) and a little bit dry.

The quest for a decent Indian meal in Colchester continues. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. Bad. Bad. Bad. I'm pretty set in my ways and always order the same meal. Makes it easy to compare quality when deciding on a restaurant. Flavours were off in every dish; tikka massala had way too much coconut, very sickly; tarka daal tasted like roast dinner; the mint sauce smelled/tasted of wine; and the peshwari naan was decidedly lacking in coconut....perhaps it ended up in my main?? Speedy delivery and discount could not rescue this meal. Would not order from here even if 50% off was offered. Also the delivery guy said he rang the door bell but a mere few feet away heard nothing...he argued his case nonetheless.

This was the worst Indian I've ever had . Food was horrible the rice had more lumps of onion then rice the garlic Narn was just lumps of garlic that you could not eat and the chicken in the dishes were like rubber . Rang up to complain man was rude on the phone and when I asked for a refund he rudely refused . I will Never order from here again AVOID

The salad was rotten and the naan very dry - curry was so oily that we had to pour oil off it before we could even touch it.

Even though i ordered before they opened the food seemed like it was rushed. The king prawns where just the tail end and over cooked. Just didn't seem very fresh considering they where only just opening when i ordered. Shame.

We were a bit disappointed: the rice and everything else was very spicy despite we asked for the food to be less spicy, super oily, and we never got an update from the restaurant stating that our order went through (so we had to call them directly asking confirmation). :-/ Too bad. The big positive note was the offer discount (that's what initially attracted us to ask takeaway today).

Somehow they managed to deliver it within 10 minutes of order confirmation. Food was lukewarm, portions were small, & not much flavour. Probably one of the worst curries I've had.

I ordered from this restaurant because it had very good reviews across just eat. However, unfortunately, when I placed my order with this restaurant; the food took over 2 hours to arrive. I phoned the restaurant to find out where the food was and after being assured it would only be 15 minutes, 20 minutes later I phoned back as I still had no food and they had closed the restaurant! So I had no way of getting in touch. Ended up having to contact just eat, who contacted the owner, and 25 minutes after this I was delivered a cold take away. Shocking service. Shocking food. Shocking experience.

Overall great but did not read my order request which was very simple so due to this I cannot leave full 5star.

Delivery arrived a lot earlier than expected the food itself looked great however, the chicken was rubbery and there was a lot of water residue when dished onto a plate (which I know cannot be helped). Disappointed as this take away has been rated highly. Naan bread was delicious though!

In the words of Simon Cowell, that was distinctly average. No flavour, the mushroom barji was lacking mushrooms and according to my wife the deal breaker was no onion salad with the poppadoms! Wont be going back here again!

Lovely food, arrived very quickly - estimated 60 mins, but delivered within 30 mins! Lamb Ceylon was delicious.

Food was decent, delivery was much quicker than expected and the service was pretty good. Would order again as the deal they have going is really good value for money.

40 mins late nearly two hoUrswick to deliver

Ordered a lamb sweet chilli and got a chicken masala. ... Shame as rest of food was good but epic fail on their behalf and spoiled takeaway evening for me. Also, 1 star rating for Just Eat app who just mug you off when you try and complain and suggest you call the restaurant. If you take my money then you should provide me customer service directly.
