The best restaurants serving Indian food in Cambridge East of England

Second visit to this restaurant and food was excellent once again. In our opinion the best Indian/Bangladeshi food in the area.

We got an array of dishes from different sections of the menu and they were all amazing and plated beautifully!! Service was excellent and we'll definitely be back again soon <3

We had a work party for 20 people and it was a perfect dinner. Food was absolutely delicious, a generous set menu devised by Ram. The staff were very warm and hospitable and everyone really enjoyed the evening. Lots of happy bellies and positive comments from all our colleagues. A big thank you for your care, attention and great food.

Excelente comida muy buen ambiente y buen servicio al cliente, recomiendo encarecidamente visitar. Me gusta Hyderabadi Biryani especial fue increíble que nunca había tenido este tipo de biryani antes en el Reino Unido, tenía tantos lugares, pero esto fue increíble. Tuve pollo Rogan josh, langostino rey Tandoori, chuletas de cordero shashlik y naan simple, así como todos son muy sabrosos. Doy 10 / 10. Gracias

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received regarding my recent food order. Unfortunately, the food was not delivered as promised, and despite making two phone calls for updates, I was repeatedly misled by the manager about the status of my order. I was informed that my order was on its way, yet it became clear that it had never been processed. After waiting for over two hours, my order was still incomplete. This experience reflects very poorly on the management and overall service quality.

Had a stunning meal with my dad tonight. Staff are all friendly and informative. Food is amazing👏🏻Great atmosphere, very relaxed. Really busy even though we ate quite early!

This has happened in February 2024 and also now in May 2024. Exactly same result after having samosa Chat. It is definitely tasty but after a few hours it affects the body somehow. 4 family members were affected either tummy ache or Indigestion. Please take it as a constructive criticism and make sure the ingredients are upto the quality.

We had a lovely meal in this very nice restaurant. Nice ambience, good service and delicious fayre. Very clean, modern and atmospheric.

I really enjoyed the food very well. The quality and quantity of the dishes were really good. Would definitely order again ! I hope they add desserts to their menu as well.

We visited the Banana leaf restaurant and were treated well upon arrival. However, after placing our order, we had to wait a long time for the food, which was served one dish at a time. There was only one staff member handling everything—taking orders, serving food, clearing tables, and issuing bills. When we tried to order more food, the waiter completely ignored us. The service was extremely poor, and we have never had such a bad experience before.

Fantastic food, but the hospitality was even better! Highly recommend !

Lovely food and service from the waitress who served us. Especially recommended the Fish curries!
