Urbanchai in Cambridge

This has happened in February 2024 and also now in May 2024. Exactly same result after having samosa Chat. It is definitely tasty but after a few hours it affects the body somehow. 4 family members were affected either tummy ache or Indigestion. Please take it as a constructive criticism and make sure the ingredients are upto the quality.

Authentic parathas and chai with excellent service by Jaspreet at the reception. Went out of the way to serve to our taste. Looked after our requests well. Will visit definitely again.

Ci facciamo convincere a provare questo bar indiano su Cherry Hinton road per gustare una bevanda originale, diversa dal comune. Così scegliamo un Desi Jaggery Chai, una miscela di te con spezie varie e zucchero di canna e ghiaccio, versione ghiacciata: effettivamente abbastanza originale e buono. Nulla di particolarmente eccelso, pero', come ci si sarebbe aspettato dopo un'attesa di più di 30 minuti per gustarlo (e non c'era neanche tanta clientela...). Tanta attesa per una bevanda discreta...

Super crunchy fresh and delicious Indian food. One of the best in the city to taste and not to miss the mother made food. Ambience, staff, food preparation and presentation is creative and best. All Indian must visit place to taste a identical tasty Indian food outside India.

This takeaway-food bar has only been opened for a few weeks, and since it is close to my regular walking route I though I would pay it a visit. It is a takeaway with few perch-style bar stools available. I ordered the jaggery chai and aloo paratha. Both were excellent, the paratha had been freshly cooked to order and the chai was steaming hot; and both items were reasonably priced. They were happy to accept contactless payment for my relatively nominal payment which was welcome. I also noticed that they have long opening hours. The menu contained many other items, mostly Indian snack items, chats, samosa, egg bhuji etc. If they can keep up their initial high food quality standards then I will be definitely returning.
