The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wellingborough East Midlands

I am very sad to leave this review as I have ordering from this restaurant at least once. Month for the past 5 years. I am normally very happy with the food and the service however this evening we ordered the set meal for 2 with an extra 2 poppadoms and an additional starter. When it arrived the additional starter was missing. So I contacted the restaurant and the manager on the phone said I didn't order the additional starter although it was clear when I ordered I did as he said it back to me. However upon calling him he refused to accept this and although the price was the same as it should have been with the additional starter he still refused this and made the prices of the extra poppadoms to be that of the starter and when I challenged this he then said that there were others fees ect although these are not shown on the website ect. When I pointed this out he then told me that there are notes about you being difficult on the system and that we do not take orders from you. Although when I called they call me by my first name and as I have said I order from here at least once a month. I have heard them on the phone to other customers previously saying the same. I will not be ordering from here ever again. In reply to the comment by the restaurant I did confirm the additional starter when the order was being taken over the phone when it was read out. In regards to the other issues it was a few monthe ago when the food arrived cold. This also isnt to mention the reoccurring issue where poppadoms and naan breads would be missing from the order this has happened at least 5 times previously. So whilst you claim a reoccurring issue this hasn't been the only time I have had to complain about food items missing. It is clear from the other negative reviews the restaurant will then look the blame the customer apposed to accept responsibility for their error.

What a lovely food again! Had butter chicken and kallumakai wow! So delicious.

Had the buffet meal last week- among the dishes served were Banarashi Chicken, Muglai Passandra, Cauliflower Bhajee and Garlic Fried Rice; all of which were cooked to perfection Looking forward to going back in the New Year

We had a really lovely meal. Such tasty food and excellent service. The staff were so welcoming and it had a great, relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

That is their Tandoori Roti costing £2.30 each. Tasteless and uncooked. Never recommend to buy any roti or naan from there. They took 20 mins to prepare these

We went in December so expected it to be busy. It was really really busy. However, didn’t phase them, very good food arrived. Reasonably fast service and all dishes out at the same time. Good was delicious and the menu is very varied Staff polite and friendly Small car park at the rear too

Ordered here for a family we really enjoyed it all of the curries wer piping hot full of flavours would highly recommend

Arrived late. Missing some naans. Leaking oil out the packaging. Spent over £65 and no popadoms. I’ll stick to my regular Mawsley to India

Severely disappointed by the recent service. Items missing from order after spending £70 and would not remedy situation. Was told no refunds. We all make mistakes sometimes. Surely you can't expect people to pay for food they haven't received. Will not be ordering from here ever again.

Place is dirty, old and hygiene looks poor. Food was cold and stacked with oil. Probably worst indian food i have ever tasted. Rude and ignorant servers/host.

I came here with friends to have a lovely meal to celebrate something special. I've got a coriander allergy and I couldn't stress enough that I couldn't have fresh coriander sprinkled over my food. When I got my starter it was full of coriander. I promptly sent this back. When the waitress brought my food back to me it had been picked off and not re-cooked. I carried on to look at my food and there was hairs all over the food. The waitress turned around and said 'what do you want me to do about it?' I wasn't best pleased. I didn't pay for my meal as I complained to the manager and he gave me my whole order for free, of course I didn't eat barely any of my main because I was too busy looking for coriander and hairs in my meal. Never will return. Poor service, shoddy food.
