Ordered from Khandan many times and have always had fantastic food and service. Would highly recommend!

Khandan Restaurant, Wellingborough We’ve been regular customers of Khandan for some time now, enjoying their delicious food delivered to our door. So, we were excited to finally experience the restaurant in person. The food lived up to our expectations – full of authentic flavors and incredibly tasty. The service was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, parking proved to be a bit of a challenge. Despite the parking issue, we highly recommend Khandan for a fantastic dining experience. Would definitely return!

Popped in here after reading the other reviews. Meal for 3. Every dish sublime. Absolutely beautifully made and presented food. Service was superb. It's one of the best meals ever.

I use this takeaway place a lot and I tend to do the boring old stuff try a couple of dishes different tonight I had goa chillie chicken YUM and Tawa again very tasty loved it 😊

Ordered a takeaway while visiting friends and delivery service was perfect and very quick! Very friendly and patient as it took me a while to get to the door. Didn’t catch his name but he drove a green kia car. Will be ordering when visiting next time we visit and we will recommend to all our friends. Carol ☺️☺️

Awful, from somewhere I once consider the best Indian around, they missed half my order, were totally unhelpful on the phone, and honestly didn’t care and offered no solution. Gutted and will no longer use Update: Restaurant have replied and continue to deny and be of no use The order was read back to us over the telephone and was clearly stated 2x rice and 2x kema naan, which were missing. The amount we paid also reflects the full order. Continuously shocked with the restaurant trying to lie their way out of this one. Again, can’t recommend and won’t use again.

I’m not the one to write reviews but this place deserve it, firstly I must say I was greeted by a lovely well dressed gentleman. Lovely flavoured food. Chicken tikka chilli massala is a must try! Also to point out.. beautiful handwriting labelled. My wife was impressed. Keep it up Khandan see you soon x

This place has very good food and very good staff. Situated opposite a pub so you can pop in for one if you wish. The food is high quality.

Can never find a inidian that isnt greasey or leaves me poorly but someone recommended this place and i gave it a try and i can honestly say ur food is amazing wasnt greasy or under cooked and i didnt wait to long for delivery either i would recommend you to people as ive never recieve good service and good food from a place before defo be coming back

This was the first time I have had an Indian meal but it wont be the last. Wonderful food, even better staff, made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Nice rapport with staff members afterqlwards. Will certainly be back

Very disappointed in the service - I ordered at 7pm, it is now 9pm and still no food. I rang at 8:30pm and was told it was on the way, rang again at 9pm to be told the driver hadn’t left. Was told they couldn’t give us any money back as we ordered online, we got offered a ‘drink’. Certainly won’t be ordering from here again.

One of the best Indian restaurant I have ever tried, having owned an Indian restaurant, I definitely know good quality food. I must say Khandan by far been the best I have been too, from service to food 10/10 the owner introduced himself to us and made us feel welcome. Will defo be back. Visited Khandan last night for the first time and everything was spot on! Service as soon as we entered was very polite and welcoming. The quality of food was amazing!! Amazing 10/10 best Indian I have been to so far

Food is great but service was slow. Either not enough servers, or not enough chefs. Nevertheless the food was good, but think I will stick with the takeaway rather than eating in.

Amazing food, staff are really friendly and have fun with you, highly recommend, will be going back.

Lovely food, the lamb in one of the Thali dishes was so tender, plenty of meat as well. The service was good, attentive but not intrusive. Nice decor, and reasonably priced. Lovely clean and fresh looking restaurant. Food was very well presented.

Absolutely spectacular, propper banging food, I'm very fussy but this is faultless, we order takeaway and it was amazing! Our local takeaway is ok but this is now the new star of the show, thanks for a fantastic meal

We ordered takeout veg korma, chicken tikka madras and a chicken dansak. Excellent flavoursome dishes, decent portion sizes, with real chicken as opposed to that plastic chicken that a lot of Indian takeaways are using now. Highly recommended 👌

Best Indian around, the food is delicious. Ate from here many times, yet to be disappointed. They're good at recommending foods too when I give them a few items that I fancy having on that particular day

Had the meat thali and paneer shashlik to share and it was delicious! Meat was tender and everything cooked perfectly. Will definitely be going again!

I'm sad to leave this review. It's Saturday night and I know they are busy, but with a delivery estimate of 1hr 20, the food arrived after 2hr 20 (half an hour after I chased and they promised me the food was out with their driver). Even the driver asked if it was too late. It really was, and half the food was pretty cold too. Very disappointing.

I've been looking for a nice Indian takeaway for ages. Finally found these guys. Food is so good. Have it delivered to wellingborough always piping hot.

Had a mad craving for a non-vegetarian thali so did a search on Just Eat and found Khandan so thought I'd give them a try. Their prices are very reasonable so I figured it was worth the risk. Delivery was surprisingly quick so I was feeling very positive when I answered the door. I was warmly greeted by a very sharply dressed gentleman who very possibly doubled as a waiter. It was almost as if the restaurant has come to me which was lovely given I can't really go out anymore. My food arrived in a very pretty bag and was perfectly packed so once again - 100% for professionalism. When I unpacked everything they had given me some poppadoms and a couple of sauce dips, so by now I was really happy. The food all looked appetising and I couldn't wait to eat it. Unfortunately, although everything looked divine, it didn't pass the taste test BUT let me continue. I think I am actually being unfair as shortly after I started to eat I began to feel unwell, and it is feasible my sense of taste had been affected. My Tikka MASALA for example tasted like tomato soup, and I couldn't detect any sort of spice blend underlying. I play around with Indian food myself and had expected cumin and coriander base at least. My lamb kebob tasted like it was just lamb with red food colouring and masses of white pepper. I'm pretty sure that is NOT what I was given at all so please go with what others have said before me! Good job Khandan, and when whatever I've caught has gone I will definitely try you again. You have nailed customer service, and I'm sure next time the food will more than match your standards. I'm pretty sure the problem is entirely down to my faulty taste buds and it all looked really delicious.

The standard has really gone down, starting with the watered down dips, and meals that seem to have lots of onions in anything you order, the waiters look totally disinterested and rude, will not be going back unfortunately, and would not recommend going there anytime soon, until they bring the standards back, and change their bad attitude

Second visit to this restaurant, great food both times and a quick service, would definitely recommend to friends and family

Simply great. Excellent food and ambience. Went for a family get together, and well catered for. One of the party has an allergy, and reassuringly managed. We will be returning!

Excellent gem of an Indian restaurant we found on a recent trip to watch the Moto GP at Silverstone. The location outside of Wellingborough was lovely, plenty of parking nearby. Staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived until we left. The choice of food and drink was excellent and prices very, very reasonable. We are Northerners and expected Southern prices 😉 but all was priced ideally. Food was hot and fresh ( bit too much coriander). All in all, excellent location, staff and food, probably the best Indian meal I have ever had and will definitely return when back in the area. 5star.

Come for the awesome varieties of Indian food. All delicious and fresh at very good prices. The staff are responsive and friendly. Also, don't forget to take a photo of the Bell End street sign outside! 🤣

Lovely food, quick, polite and efficient service. Waiters were always watching to see if we needed more drinks. Prices very reasonable. We had a good selection of dishes and all were very good. Sadly we had a very noisy table nextvtonus which made it very difficult to have any kind of conversation but they were having a good time so hey ho....c'est la vie. Would we go again? Yes, most definitely!!

We order from Khandan several times a year. The food is always so delicious and the delivery person polite and usually early, or else on time! We try various dishes, but I always enjoy the salmon starter.

We had a wonderful impromptu dinner when visiting the area from Oregon, USA. The food was delicious, and are seriously considering them catering an event we are hosting in the area soon. We were ripped off by a local taxi so the owner of the restaurant actually drove us back to our hotel himself. What a thoughtful gesture!

Delicious! Had a lamb bhuna and garlic naan. Very tasty, well cooked and the meat was tender and moist. I shall be visiting with my family soon!

1st visit-Great food, great service. 2nd visit-Food was even better on this visit. But the restaurant was very busy and the table service was very very slow. 45 min wait for main course. Not great

Regularly have a meal here and am never disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is always a very high standard. My husband always has a Phal and says it's the best he's ever had. A really good restaurant close to home.

Booked a table for 10 initially but only 7 attended, this was no issue for staff. As there was quite a few of us it did take longer for our food to be ready and come out but there were no issues with the food when it was served. Where we sat was very interesting, a ton of to the left somewhere where the chair magically slid across the floor which provided entertainment for quite a while. I certainly would go again

Saturday night treat! Had meant to go many times as passed this little gem on the corner of the high street Wollaston Northants. We could not find a restaurant close to the Derngate for a theater night, so booked closer to home. I am so glad we did. The restaurant was spotless, staff polite and helpful and the food was amazing! Both quality and price. I am so glad we went. The menus was extensive and plenty of choice even for the veggie! It made the evening. The theater show wasn't as good as the food we had earlier sadly, but I defffinately go back again. This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in 35 years, including all my trips abroad. Thank you to all the staff and the chef! The only slight niggle is parking which is limited but it doesn't dampen the evening and the atmosphere was really lovely.

We dont have a takeaway very often so they are a cherished treat. We live the other side of wellingborough, but liked the consistency of the reviews so what the heck... if the food goes cold we have a microwave or a frying pan. Ordered a collection Saturday night. 2 curries 2 rice 2 nan onion bhajees..10% off collection 👍good start. Got a text saying food will be ready 17:57. Staff friendly. Loved the look of the place. Will defo go for a sit in. Easy to find too. Food literally ready whem stated. Got home (12 minute drive) food hot enough for me bit Wifey microwaved hers. Vindaloo spot on. Keema nans packed with mince. Keema rice amazing. My fussy wife mentioned her tikka massala was very red but all said she absolutely loved it. We cannot comment on onion bhajees because our curry, rice and nan were so big we couldnt finish them. No room for bhajees. Although I did eat the complimentary popadoms and dips in the morning. The chilli dip they give you is a first for me and I used my finger to scrape the last bit out. Exceptional value for money, excellent quality and looking forward to our next meal at our new favourite restaurant.

Waited 2 hours and a half for food to be delivered, However, they missed the curry, once notice I called them straight away to report a member of staff confirmed at the phone they will send it immediately, waited another hour when was 23.15 aprox rang them again and spoke with another member of staff which had no clue of what happened, he apologies for misunderstanding but was too late to send the curry anymore as the restaurantclosing 23.30 so, he came up with an idea to send it with a further order which I disagreed of course(sure I won't place other order with them again)and asked for a refund, he agreed he will refund the money. guess what? no refund was issued so far. Really bad experience...anyway if you would like to order from them avoid to order it through their website where you cannot claim

Man oh man where do I begin I love this place but tonight was the first time I had ate in, it was for for my mums birthday. the service was diabolical they brought us out small drinks when we asked for large. They added drinks to our final bill, no one seemed to know the menu, the wait was atrocious and to top it off I had to ask for the bill 4 times tonight I was truly disappointed with the service I was literally saying to everyone how good this place was when we ordered takeaway sadly I don't think I will eat in hear again.

Food was really nice and plenty of it. Huge menu so would go back to try some other dishes. Service for drinks was very slow and wine wasn't particularly cold.

Normally it is exceptional, but the last time the service was rubbish. To be fair the food was just as delicious as normal but we waiting nearly 2 hrs for our main meals to arrive and two of our party left as we booked for 7pm and our mains arrived gone 9pm which was too late for them

My 3rd time in an Indian restaurant. Was prepared to go for the English option as not really a fan but was pleasantly surprised by the menu. Staff were very attentive but not in your face. Food was delicious. Clean and COVID aware. Would definitely go back.

Popped out from the racing at Santa Pod to have dinner, food was fantastic, one of the best Chicken Acharis I've had. Really flavoursome, good temperature and a nice portion. Service was a bit slow but it was a random Wednesday with a 40th party in, my friends who visit regularly tell me it's not usually that delayed. Will visit again when we come to Pod, it's a good 3hr trip for me

After a misunderstanding over the drinks, the food was first class. Will certainly go again.
