Although I have yet to visit the Harborough restaurant I was delighted to see Saffron has set up in the town after several wonderful meals in the Leicester restaurant. This is as authentic as it gets and is amazing food...Aimee

Our usual takeaway has had some “technical issues” so we tried a new one. Ibrahim (the guy that took our order was polite, helpful and efficient) told us “if you trying for the first time you’re in for a treat”. He was right, starters, mains and sides were all excellent, as was the delivery, fast and polite. We will be regulars from now on👍

Visited Little India the day it opended nearly 15years ago. Since then, I have been virtually every week which is the ultimate accolade to the food, service and hospitality. It's "home from home" where customers become friends.

Five stars all the way for The Spice Corner! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm smiles of the front-of-house team. The menu is a treasure trove of classic and contemporary curries, each bursting with vibrant flavors and just the right amount of heat. We tried the butter chicken, which was luxuriously creamy without ever feeling heavy, and the lamb rogan josh, tender and perfectly spiced. Even the vegetarian dishes (the chana masala in particular) were standouts—fresh, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. Portion sizes are generous and the prices are incredibly fair—there’s real value here, whether you’re ordering a quick solo lunch or feeding the whole family. Our drinks arrived promptly (cheers to the mango lassi), and every request—extra naan, a little less chili—was met with a cheerful “no problem!” The décor is a bit odd, but honestly, that’s part of the charm! It gives the place character and makes it feel even more like a hidden gem. If you’re craving honest, mouthwatering Indian cuisine served by genuinely lovely people, look no further than The Spice Corner. We’ll definitely be back!

I have been going to New Sunar Gow for many years, with my husband and now with friends - always lovely food. I went last Saturday with my bestie and her husband, and while the food was excellent, we realised the next day we had been overcharged. The total charged was £92, when calculating ourselves we got it to £61.50, plus 2 Cobras and 2 OJs, which I doubt are £7.50 each!!!

delivered on a warm day but not expecting the pickle tray sauces to be hot too alongside hot salad and chewy poppadoms...! the chips were undercooked and the chicken in the tikka was dry. the Achari was VERY oily but the lamb was tender and flavour was good. Pilau rice was fine but overall very disappointed.
