The best restaurants serving Indian food in Harborough East Midlands

Although I have yet to visit the Harborough restaurant I was delighted to see Saffron has set up in the town after several wonderful meals in the Leicester restaurant. This is as authentic as it gets and is amazing food...Aimee

Food is reflective of Harborough in general, average but for the price its way below standard, its OK but won't set the imagination on fire but it was the service that was so poor that leaves the bitter taste. Cramped tables in a corridor, food not coming out together and lack of cutlery no offer of another drink extremely over price deserts that would be a pound in lidl. I think the lack of a Michelin restaurant in the town means standard Harborian have no comparison to what a good dining experience is. Think I'm done with the Everest lounge its simply fails to reach the highest peaks of service. My tip, don't ask for one....

The ambience was great and so was the service. Each and every staff looked after us. This was our first visit to the restaurant and we had an excellent experience. The food was great.

The waiter was miserable, just wanted more drink asked about 7 times, the food came it was very poor quality, my colleagues meal was forgotten, I had Tandori mixed grill, woke up this morning very upset tummy! Had two popadoms & Main as order £ £28 each, ripped off! don't go there it was freezing in the restaurant! This is the worse indian food I have ever had!

Visited Little India the day it opended nearly 15years ago. Since then, I have been virtually every week which is the ultimate accolade to the food, service and hospitality. It's "home from home" where customers become friends.

This is our favourite place for good quality authentic Curry. The food is always fresh, hot, tasty and fairly priced. The owner and staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. The food always come early/on time. Portions are very generous too. I can't recommend this place enough!

Recommended to come here. I took the opportunity and collected a takeaway. The food was absolutely outstanding and we will be back, but.....our order was short of a naan bread and short of two pickles out of 3. That was pretty annoying, but the food was good.

Food was cold and inedible by the time we eventually got it! Such a shame as when it was in the old place, couldn't fault it! Was really looking forward to it as well!

Excellent Christmas Day lunch, set menu but plenty to choose from, good service and atmosphere. Also very reasonably priced for a Christmas Day.

Had a fantastic curry and rice from here tonight, 27th October. The food was delicious and the delivery was very friendly. Will definitely order from the Red Hot Curry Pot again.
