The best restaurants serving Indian food in Harborough East Midlands

Although I have yet to visit the Harborough restaurant I was delighted to see Saffron has set up in the town after several wonderful meals in the Leicester restaurant. This is as authentic as it gets and is amazing food...Aimee

Had a table for 2 booked for 19.00.we arrived 10 minutes early and was seated immediately. The restaurant was already busy. Difficulty ordering drinks due to a language barrier with the server. Poppadoms arrived swiftly. Drinks took an age ( eaten 4 poppadoms between 2 before they came) and one was wrong. After around an hour starters arrived. They were very tasty but it was impossible to get another drink and was told mains were a long way off yet. My wife and I gave up at this point. I did raise my voice to the Manager as I was so upset. This was a special night out for us, pre booked, and it was ruined by poor service. I tried to pay for what we had eaten and drunk as I am not in the habit of trying to get freebies. Payment was twice refused. I did make it very clear that his refusing payment would not prevent me leaving a scathing review. I always try to be fair when leaving feedback and on this occasion that can only mean my saying " do not eat here" if you expect to eat in a timely manner. Thanks to this restaurant our night out ended with takeaway burgers and chips in our hotel room that we had booked especially to visit this establishment.

Fantastic meal tonight food was excellent

went there for my birthday meal with family and friends and my two grandchildren lovely place and friendly staff the food was amazing, i would go again, i recommend it Thank-you for my bottle of wine for my birthday Sunargow Tandoori

Beautiful curries - my daughter says the best she’s ever had. The chicken and lamb were both soft and melted in my mouth and the sauces were tasty and thick and the right level of spice. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Visited Little India the day it opended nearly 15years ago. Since then, I have been virtually every week which is the ultimate accolade to the food, service and hospitality. It's "home from home" where customers become friends.

This is our favourite place for good quality authentic Curry. The food is always fresh, hot, tasty and fairly priced. The owner and staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. The food always come early/on time. Portions are very generous too. I can't recommend this place enough!

Starter - mixed grill non veg....kebabs were cold....how if they are fresh Main ordered raitha yogurt was off Garlic naan burnt from bottom.....as in charcoal at the bottom Food only warm not even hot Took fam there as first time was great Not again

Food was cold and inedible by the time we eventually got it! Such a shame as when it was in the old place, couldn't fault it! Was really looking forward to it as well!

We arrived about 8pm having been at a funeral and the following food offering in the late afternoon. We only wanted a few starters and were welcomed warmly . The food a bit different to our local in Scotland was excellent and very tasty. A place to return to if we are ever back in the area visiting friends. Thank again.

Had a fantastic curry and rice from here tonight, 27th October. The food was delicious and the delivery was very friendly. Will definitely order from the Red Hot Curry Pot again.
