the food in this place is amazing.. everyone go out of there way to help your needs BUT the place its self very tired thread bare carpets in places and needs updating apart from that brilliant

Over an hour late and the worst chicken naga I've ever had, not even a hint of spice, zero chilli's, no heat whatsoever. Used to be good. Tried to call them and they left me on hold and wouldn't speak to me.

Not as good as Cuisine of India sadly.

Called in for a takeaway Had a drink whilst waiting, which was approximately 30 minutes. The food was amazing. Great value. Highly recommended. Will definitely use Little India again!

I've lived in the area now for around a decade and this is the best Indian food I have eaten whilst being here. I used to swear by Fleckney's when I lived there but since moving house over to Lutterworth way I have been ordering from Arnesby. If I'd have known how superior the food was I'd have been going all along. Incredible vegetarian options for my partner and dish choices galore... and they taste absolutely incredible. Will be back in pay day!

As a huge fan of Indian Cuisine and having sampled many restaurants from Leicestershire, Warwickshire, London and Manchester I can say that this is hands down the best. The food and service are the best I have ever experienced and could not recommend more! Been coming here for many years now and will continue to do so

What's happened to Little India? We ordered a take away by telephone and the order was read back to us correctly...including a vegetable dhansak. We collected the order, no veg dhansak but instead a veg korma. Decided to eat the korma but was so disgusting, the sauce was watery and split (grainy) and wierd taste. Out of 5 mains, 4 sauces were watery, something we've never experienced. The star is for the lamb biryani which was apparently tasty, lots of tender meat and good. We tried calling them as I believe any business should have the opportunity to put it right but they kept cutting the call. We did have a leaflet saying under new management...these may be teething problems or the result of a very busy Saturday night but I won't be risking spending my money there again.

I came here with my son and friend.Not been here for a few years.All the staff we very friendly and pleasant. We had poppadoms, pickles and nan breads and had different curries all of which were very very good.We will certainly be coming back here again.

The food was amazing, and delivered in a very attentive manner. The style of the meal and service was quite nostalgic, reminiscent of the 80s, but that is something we loved. Best curry we have had in a long time and we will definitely be going again.

Went to little India tonight for the first time it was so nice. Everyone very friendly and helpful. We ordered way too much food but it was excellent. All the leftovers packed up to bring home. Lovely atmosphere definitely worth a visit we will be back.

A lovely place... I was impressd by the classy decor from the outset. We were shown to a well dressed table by a well dressed waiter. The whole place was smart and dreszed for fine dining. The menu was excellent, with a clear description of what each component of the meal consisted of. The excellent food was cooked to order, no premixed sauces from a catering jar, so be prepared for a short wait, but it is really worth it. Popadoms filled the gap nicely, but I anticipate a starter would have dome the job just as well. When the food came, there were table heaters for keeping the food warm. The food was excellent, and lots of it. I have eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants around the world and this food is up with the best. The staff were very attentive, without being obtrusive...an art form. The same for "The Boss", who dilligently checked we had emjoyed the experience. We had loved it and will be back. In a nutshell... the decor and staff would qualify as fine dining. The food, whilst excellent, could maybe benefit with taking the presentation up a level. Earing a nice meal begins with the eyes. That said, the flavours and spices once tasted spoke for themselves. Highly recommended and we will be back.

My go to Indian restaurant whenever I visit the in-laws. Usual excellent service and food on my most recent visit. Always make everyone most welcome with attentive but not intrusive service.

I (and my friends) have dined here (both sit in and takeaways) many, many times for well over a decade, especially when I lived in S.Leics. Couple of weeks ago I decided it was time (and safe enough) to start eating out again and tbh I've missed eating here. Anyway, I was delighted to find both the service and food were just as good as they've always been. From the moment I arrived, they were all very warm and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely delicious; everything fresh, cooked properly, plenty of flavours, decent portions etc. Fantastic! We shall be back! *NB oh, and if you need something spicy, just ask! I once asked for a very hot Jhal Tikka. It was so hot, I may as well have been eating the Sun (and I say this as someone who regularly cooks with Ghost). So if like me, hot's your thing, don't worry, they've got your back!

Best Indian we’ve ever had! So so impressed with this place. The staff are impeccable and very attentive and the food is the best we’ve ever tasted! Can’t praise this place enough. VERY impressed.

I reluctantly give Little India 2 star's now. Very very sad to see the decline of what was a very good Indian restaurant. The takeaway £55 that I had last Saturday was not anywhere near good enough. Having specifically asked for lime pickle, that got forgot. I dipped my poppadom's into a watered down mango chutney which resembled a mild orange wallpaper paste, the rest of the dips lacked any imagination and tasted equally as tasteless. The mains that I have had before lacked any flavour or care in the cooking process. The Buttered chicken sauce was absolutely tasteless, the Chicken Razella tasted hot but not authentically cooked. I've had this dish at Little India probably 15 times and it has slowly decreased in quality over the last 10 years. The Nan breads tasted like one of Putins missiles, hard and indestructible. The rice had been undercooked and the entire meal was pretty much inedible. Sadly my last visit to a restaurant that has had its day.

Have been here with a group of friends a couple of times recently. We go for a curry every month but this is our favourite yet. Great food - best onion bhajis around. Fantastic service - very friendly with a bit of humour/banter. Lovely touch at the end giving everyone a Christmas card too. Would recommend.

We had a takeaway from here last night, worst take away ever. We both had different dishes but they basically tasted the same with the exception of different meats. Both full of loads of onions, more than we’ve ever had in a curry before… there was just onion overload. The garlic naan was dry and flavourless, we ordered garlic naan and there was no garlic or garlic flavour at all. The naan was chewy and dry. We won’t be using this place again and will stick to our regular place, shame as it’s local to us.

Went as it was given a recent regional foody award..why?? Went on a Sunday to try out its Sunday buffet... Reasonable starters but the buffet already looked old and tired at 5pm (seemingly available until 10pm)!! So we went al a carte to find that the rice, salad and side dishes came cold from the buffet with the meat dish very disappointing (a v small, basic, tandoori mixed grill). £55? Way overpriced for poor food!!! Won't be going back!! Makes you wonder who hands out these awards??!

My spouse and I met with an old family friend for a super pleasant experience at this country pub and restaurant. Spotlessly clean inside and out. FRESH well lit toilets. Tables and seating were spacious and the background music was not any impediment to conversation. The staff were speedy, courteous and highly experienced with assisting us in menu selections. The dinner entrees were beautifully prepared and delivered to our table with precision and our eyes and tastebuds were very pleased. Deserts and coffee were quickly presented and a real treat. We all agreed to come here again soon.

My wife and I decided to try Little India restaurant after hearing good reports about it. Everything was five star! Food was wonderful, staff were excellent and not-too-attentive, plenty of car parking space, the place was well decorated, clean and tidy. The loo's were very clean. We're definately going to return soon, and tell all our friends. Highly recommended.

I order the grilled chicken and chips for my self,I got 3 pieces of chicken the size of chicken nuggets and a small portion of chips,this cost £8.95 and it didn't task that good,my partner was not impressed with her food either

We have used this place so many times in the past and it’s always been consistent and INCREDIBLE. I had my family visit tonight and it didn’t disappoint, the food here is amazing. We live in Sapcote and this is definitely the best Indian by far. Don’t go anywhere else, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice food, nothing special but it’s certainly not bad. Worth a visit for sure if you fancy a curry in a rural location! From experience, it’s better to just eat on a normal day than to have the buffet as that’s quite limited and not as good as the normal menu.

I love this place, the food has always been good quality until recently. We went last week, I ordered a chicken Madras, flavour was fantastic as usual, however, the chicken was dry and tasted un-fresh. My daughter had the duck tika masala, which tasted fishy, not right. The wife had the chicken Biryani which was fantastic as usual. Really disappointed with our experience this time. We will return as we like the service and the food usually.

Lovely takeaway in these difficult times. Had my dish specifically tailored to my taste!! Guys couldn't have been more helpful. Food even still hot after driving 10 miles to get home! Loved the complimentary popadoms!!!!!!

We occasionally eat from Little India, my favourite is the stuffed mushroom, paneer shashlick and chicken tikka massala with pilau rice- proper stuff!! I always have to get their popadoms and pickle tray (a must!). Only downside is that the food is not cheap. But...

We go here every Sunday and Christmas days for food. It is delicious and the best Indian food I have ever had. The staff are super friendly and they know what we want to eat and drink before we do. Love it

Ordered a take away and among other things a king prawn biriani (for £14) which was like supermarket floured rice with 4 mangled defrosted seafood-esqe rubbers in it, they cannot be called prawns let alone king prawns, the bland ‘biriani sauce’ had peas, carrots and large potatoes in it, that’s not authentic!! The rice was not good the tandoori chicken was okay and the pickle sauces synthetic. The place used to be great, now it’s not. Great shame and compete waste of £40 for two people and and child, feel totally ripped off and disappointed.

Disappointing Fathers Day Sunday Buffer, poor service very average food really difficult to recommend when the staff are unable to smile or be polite and it wasn’t even busy. Will not be returning.
