Always lovely food, never had a bad curry in the 3 years we’ve been ordering. I just wish they had a restaurant!

Called to order from web prices only to find at the end it was a fiver more than any advertised price. Bloke on the phone didn't seem at all bothered so not for me.

Kind, humble and generous service from the Bangladeshi hosts. Saag Aloo curry was absolutely delicious - tasted homemade. Chicken tikka and rice were also high quality. Really glad to find this excellent halal option in this town. Great prices as well!

Last night was the first and last time using this place!! Not only did they attempt delivery to the wrong address (No.3 when it should have been No.31), but omitted my Chicken Balti!! We had the starters last night but saving mains for today! I now have to go to Morrison’s, at further expense, and buy myself something for dinner - hubby has his Chicken Dupiaza and rice, I’ve got nothing!

My husband has recently been advised he has a Gluten Intolerance. We usually get our curry from Poppadoms anyway however, when we advised of the new found allergy they were excellent in accommodating this for us. I rang them ahead of ordering and explained the situation; we usually go for a chicken korma, so this is what I specifically asked about. The staff literally read out all the ingredients and when I got there, the chef came to the front to greet me and advised he had cooked a separate batch away from the other curry’s to ensure no cross contamination could occur. Earlier in the evening, we had a chip shop advise ‘salad’ in a sarcastic comment when we rang to find out if they served anything GF, so when Poppadoms advised they could accommodate this, it made our evening. Excellent service from start to finish and a delicious curry as always. The pilau rice was also gluten free. Although, no gluten free naan breads, which I expected, no complaint there, just to let others know. Excellent service. Thank you Poppadoms.

Best Indian takeaway in Lutterworth hands down!

As someone who suffers with a nut allergy it can be difficult to have takeaways and even eat out. The staff at Papadoms go above and beyond for me. I have 100% trust in them that they when I ask for a dish without nuts it will be. As well as that, their meals are always fresh and full of flavour, always delicious and always in time. So far (🤞🏻) we haven’t ever had a bad meal. 👍🏻

Food was just appalling anyone who rates this place 5 stars would not know what a good curry was if it hit them in the face chips were stale nan bread was damp and tasteless curry might have filled up a container with tap water would have done me better chicken in the curry you would need to get steel teeth implanted to chew through that $*** even the rice was disgusting i looked down at my plate of food and I could not even say that one of the items in the plate was any good is this what you go and pay them for to give u $*** food avoid avoid the only people who should be going in there are health and safely people to shut them down feel sick thank you popadoms and I may add that the actual popadoms was not in the bag not that they would have been any good anyway many thanks for nothing 👍👍👍👍

Ordered a takeaway for a group of friends. Took delivery of two dishes missing chicken so ended up with two dishes of what I can only describe as spinach slop. Phoned back the following day to complain and they weren’t interested. Definitely won’t bother ordering from here again.

Disappointing! I was expecting good things because of all the 5 star reviews. Papadoms were soft and tasted old. Naan bread’s were tough and tasteless. The 2 main dishes were both bland and had no spice whatsoever. Hopefully they were just having a bad night but certainly won’t be trying them again. 👎

Amazing food and very nice staff.

Ordered a mix tandoori main not a starter but recieved a start portion of salad. Thought it was just a mistake and said nothing. Next time I went ordered king prawn tandoori got home 3 prawns in dish. Call then up and said 3 prawns for £9 was a bit small. Told it was a mistake and should be 4. Even so they were not very big. Most places I know give you 5. They told next time I order they will look after me for the mistake. Next order that was today was told when I collect they will sort me out because of the last time. When I got home just the order did not even give me back the king prawn I was short on last visit. So I called and complained. They said the man who said he would sort it was out and they will call back. Never did get the call. So basically was tricked into making another order. They lost a regular customer just to cheat me out of a prawn.

We had a fantastic Curry on New Year's Eve. It was full of flavour and the best keema rice I've ever had. It was our first time here and we're so pleased to have found an absolute gem. Five stars all the way!

Having used Papadoms for nearly 20 years we were particularly disappointed. Last couple of visits we have seen both less food for the money and quality going downhill. Hadn’t been for a while due to lockdown but thought we would give them a go. Food was bland, there was limited amount of meat in the dishes and no vegetables whatsoever. Whereas for many years we have enjoyed our takeaway the last few have not been the same and tonight’s has left us decided that was the last one.

First time ordering from Papadoms, great service and the food was excellent quality, will definitely be going back

Couldn’t wait for them to reopen after lockdown. Wonderful taste great value for money and a good range for all tastes. Also willing to adapt to personal tastes. And if for any reason a problem occurs they sort it out professionally.

Our first takeaway since lockdown and it was fabulous! We had always been regular customers - we’d forgotten how good they are. Excellent service too, would definitely recommend.

Yesterday 30/5/20 we used for the first time Easy to ring our order through ,friendly and polite staff The curry’s were lovely, I had a bhuna and Peshawar Nan bread ,the Nan was the only let down ....It was sweet and tasty but it had NO filling at all which was a disappointment The madras was spicy and also enjoyed And the kroma was enjoyed by my daughter Would recommend and will be returning

Recently moved to Lutterworth and someone recommended this place. Had several takeaways all have been hot and tasty with generous portions. Delivery service is spot on too!

Always use Papadoms as it is produces great tasty food and is consistently good. Does a great chicken shaslick and lamb tikka balti.

The waiting area looks a lot better following a refurbishment. The food was was fine except that the naan bread was very poor. It was far too thick and doughy. The staff are very pleasant but please get the Naans sorted......thin and crispy please not a mouthful of dough.

After a summer refit it is brilliant to see Popadoms open again. They remembered our order and it was as ever excellent. My children were excited to have a meal from their favourite takeaway. I recommend the naan bread which superb😀

Great food, friendly, fast delivery and inexpensive

We usually use a different takeaway that delivers to us, but thanks to them having a delivery time of 1hour and 20 mins we found this little gem with the help of google. Not only was the service quick and fantastic, the food was excellent. Chicken pasanda and chicken tikka masala both were delicious! We will be back :) xx

Best takeaway ever, couldn't fault it. Gourmet delight. We stayed overnight in a self contained unit. This was perfect. Definitely would return.

The food is great good quality and more healthy as not running in grease. Always cooked fresh telephone orders ready in good time, staff happy to advise.

Love the food. Never had any problem leaving a telephone order since they opened 15 years ago. Their delivery service has proved useful a few times too.

We have been using Popadoms for many years now and I am never disappointed. Fantastic food served every time with a friendly chat on collection. Popadoms have been happy to tweak dishes spiceyness for my wife to a thermonuclear heat( I think she requests it like this so she doesn't have to share). Plenty of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike.Looking forward to my next visit already.Chris

It's great - best Indian takeaway in town. Please don't tell anyone and please don't go there...otherwise the queue will be longer when I arrive....and definitely don't try the tandoori special ;)

We have been using this take-away for years and were never disappointed, nor have we ever had a tummy upset! Food is delicious, cooked fresh (you can see right into the kitchen through a big window). Kitchen looks very clean. They're happy to make any adjustments to food as you require. Should be #1 in Lutterworth, for sure!!!

Absolutely great take away I have been using it for years and luckily I only live 500 yards from it, the food is awesome and occasionally they let me into the kitchen to help cook my own curry. So I may be biased slightly but it is damn good

We have been using this friendly takeaway for the last twenty years and have never had any cause for complaint. Deliveries are promptly delivered and on one occasion when I accidentally dropped one of the meals it was quickly replaced at no charge.Life in Lutterworth would simply not be the same without it!

I used to live opposite this take away and the food has always been good. Now I have moved a few miles away and do not use them so, the delivery guy still recognises me.

You can actually watch them preparing your takeaway meal. Very friendly service, Papadoms thrown in free.Only complaint is that they are nearly always longer than they say they will be

My family have been using this takeaway since they started many years ago and I can only apologise for not posting a review on TA before. It is a takeaway and unlike a lot of the indian restaurants in lutterworth this is all it does and it has to be good and it is...! Excellent food well prepared and very polite friendly staff. Great value too. If you want a sit down indian in lutterworth there is a good choice but for a takeaway there is only one PAPADOMS Keep up the good work

I have visited Papadoms and enjoyed the food. After a week, I searched on internet but they did not deliver. I really did not want to leave the house and wanted Papadoms. When I checked on some web sites I saw that they had different menu to what Papadomss had in the restaurant. But then my friend told me about dinein.co.ukI ordered food from them for delivery from Papadoms and it was just what I wanted.

I live locally and have used Papadoms regularly for over 5 years and have never had any cause to complain about the food or service, the staff are always friendly and efficient whether visiting, ordering over the telephone or delivering and with a family sized order we always get free papadoms and raita, which is a nice touch. Local delivery is available for £1.50 and credit card payment over the phone is accepted. I can't recommend them enough :)At time of writing, the takeaway is closed on Mondays

Papadoms have been in Lutterworth for over 11 years and after another disappointing takeaway elsewhere; I had to include and review this place. It only operates as a takeaway but it beats many other local and not so local restaurant takeaways, hands down.If you like delicious Bangladeshi food without the pretension of trying to be 'modern' this the place to visit. The dishes hit all the unami notes: salty, sweet, hot, bitter,...curries that have the complexity of clever spicing, vegetable dishes which taste fresh and a generous serving of all the other bits which make Indian food so moreish. From the fluffy fragrant pilau rice, soft chapatis, crunchy poppadums, delicious and often complementary salads and sundries. I should add, that I'm vegetarian but have it on good authority that the meat dishes are as lovely as the meat free.If you like your curry hot, tell them and they"ll add more chilli. If you want extra green chillies again tell them and they"ll happily add them. If there's a dish you fancy that's not on the menu, they"ll do their best to make it for you.There isn't a website for this place and it's amongst a row of shops nestled in a seventies housing estate but don't be deterred by its' unassuming exterior. I've tried the food of many Indian restaurants and will continue to do so but so far; few match up to the consistently good value and flavour of Papadoms.
