We used the venue for our China wedding anniversary... everything promised was delivered. Good food cooked to our taste and more!

I had been recommended by a friend... That this is ths best indian restaurant in derby... Soon as i got there i was like can i have menu and he laughed at me... I then asked il have a pint of carling... It came from a can! ... No heating... If u want an authentic indian feel... Please come here.

The best curry I've had in a long time. We had chicken palak and keema matar. Both were delicious.

Our second time here and it was just as good as the first. We had onion bhajis and mirch wali fish to start, the fish was gorgeous. For mains we shared lamb khumbhara, chicken khagani with mushroom rice and a garlic naan. The staff are lovely the food is great and they have some lovely pictures on the walls, what’s not to love! We’ll be back next month when we’re in Derby to see another band.

So much fabulous looking food to choose from you are truly spoilt for choice, freshly cooked, it is our go to place with excellent service from whoever is behind the counter.

Ordered a takeaway on New Year’s Eve and it was the best curry I’ve had on my visit to family in derby Superb cannot go wrong, I strongly recommend you to try the king prawn + chicken Masala

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and able to accommodate food preferences and a walk-in. Loved it so much I went two nights in a row!

From the worst to the best: lamb chops - 2 x pieces that were very dry, chewy, no flavour - just hot but no salt or anything else, was unable to eat it, also had tiny bits of sharp bone. Chicken shashlik starter- good portion, comes with veg but very plain, not a pinch of salt. Poppadoms - ok, but had strong fishy taste. Nan and pilau rice - good. Chicken tikka masala - spot on, delicious. Arrived on time and good temperature to eat straight away.

Called in after a derby home game with 3 friends, food was good but all found a little dry. The delivery buy a “robot “ was different (but got wrong table for starters) seems gust a gimmick as waiters follow it to your tables with a grin’ ok food but could be better…

90 minutes spent at the table with no food in sight apart from 4 popadoms and dips which were taken away within 10 minutes. After waiting for so long we complained and the food came out all be it with no explanation why it took so long.

Food is great, and I order from here all the time!! At least twice a week So it was very disappointing when they just rung me to tell me my food is going to be late and asked for a free poppadom and they said no.

Great authentic food Good service I had 2 of the curry’s but next time I will be trying a kharai to share The mixed grills looked great All in all a great place to go for great food Lots of choice in normanton but this one for me is the best by far
