This was the venue of My sister's wedding and it certainly did not disappoint. This venue was recommended to us by family friends; following this recommendation we then set up a meeting with one of the venue managers Miah. Miah went above and beyond for us to show us each part of the venue; we then discussed the arrangements with Miah who offered numerous valuable suggestions and recommendations to us about how the wedding should run on the day. Additionally Miah gave us a very competitive price with a full breakdown of costs and no hidden fees. The day itself ran very smoothly thanks to Hitesh who was the duty manager. We met with Hitesh in the days leading up to the wedding; he was considerably helpful in terms of putting forward ideas as to how the day should unfold. Additionally Hitesh was a calming influence in terms of reassuring us that we had nothing to worry about on the day given his vast experience running large scale events. We can't thank Hitesh enough for making sure that the day was executed to perfection. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple who are searching for a wedding venue.

I had been recommended by a friend... That this is ths best indian restaurant in derby... Soon as i got there i was like can i have menu and he laughed at me... I then asked il have a pint of carling... It came from a can! ... No heating... If u want an authentic indian feel... Please come here.

Best lamb Karahi you will ever find. My family and I will always come back here as the food is authentic and hits the spot. The owner is super friendly and always checks to ensure his customers are happy. Nothing is too much trouble. Went this evening to celebrate a birthday and as always it was delicious. We were given complimentary desi tea and gajar halwa which was soo tasty! Thank you for a lovely experience.

Lovely meal great attention from staff and great conversation. Lovely garlic rice and Rajasthan lamb curry would recommend this restaurant. Chris and Steve.

Visited on a Saturday evening , food was very good and tasty. Had a chickpea puri and also a chicken tikka puri both were really good. Mains of lamb khumbara (lamb was so tender) and the meethi chicken , shared a mushroom rice (get plenty) and a roti / keema naan Really good quality food

One of my colleague's bought some food into the office - Veg samosas, meat samosas and pakoras and they were so tasty, so I had to go down to Shahenshahs myself they had a variety of Indian snacks/curries and sweets. I went for a mix of Samosas, onion barji, aloo tiki and a selection of veg and meat curries. I got all of this under £25. The food was amazing. I know where I will be going when I have my next party. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered a takeaway on New Year’s Eve and it was the best curry I’ve had on my visit to family in derby Superb cannot go wrong, I strongly recommend you to try the king prawn + chicken Masala

We visited this place yesterday 1st November. Absolutely amazing place. fantastic service, food, apmosphere . all the staff even the owner couldn't do enough for us ,we were treated like royalty. plus robby the robot even sang Happy Birthday to Peter. definitely a place to visit 100% 10 out of 10

Visited here with 7 friends last night. All had something different and all equally impressed. Superb food. Clean. Tasty. Flavourful. Staff were very accommodating and the price was great too.

What a beautiful hanging out place

Attended for my nephews 30th so we were in a large group, but all of our food came out together, all hot and absolutely delicious! Menu clearly states which dishes have dairy in which is always helpful for me. Jay was brilliant! He took the large order without a fuss and ensured we all had what we needed.

Fantastic customer service. Lots of goodies on the house. Will definitely be back.

luv this place- we alwayssss used to go there with friends and family when we lived near derby and would often crave it. the karahi and kebabs are on top!
