The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

lovely food and the restaurant stayed open just for us to eat as we arrived late in the evening on saturday. really went the extra mile fantastic service and great food thank you!

Worst sushi. Delivered twice, twice over the food was about to rot away. Sushi was spoiling. Avocado inside was black. Rice had a film, signs of long refrigeration and left overs. Not fresh. Seaweed was sour. CANNOT believe they send this out and not bother even refund money.

We unfortunately live over 2 hours drive from K2. Earlier in the year, when we were staying nearby, we enjoyed dinner there after seeing it on google maps. It was absolutely delicious. This time we booked before our stay. The food, service, and atmosphere are all perfect. We will definitely be returning on our next trip.

What an excellent meal. I had chicken Nizami, a dish I had never heard of before. It was absolutely delicious. Very spicy (vindaloo hot) but extremely tasty with lots of flavour. The vegetable rice was also lovely and almost a meal in itself. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, the chef even made my husband a dish he requested that wasn’t even in n the menu. We will definitely return next time we are in Ventnor, which I hope will be soon.

Great food, great friends specially Josief and navdeep was great service.

This evening ie Thursday 28/11/2024 bought some food from RoI King prawn biryani , not a cheap dish King prawns were like rubber and not cooked properly or chef hadn't cooked king prawns before A Bombay aloo was also ordered bland and tasteless Never tasted such a bland and tasteless meal in ages How can they call themselves an Indian restaurant Definitely not going there again My friend got a lamb curry and rice but after seeing my food she was hesitant to eat hers . Total waste of £44.10p

Excellent takeaway, fresh food and a really nice guy serving us. Had a cheeky cobra as we waited. We shall be back

My first and last visit,slow service,food served on cold plates,which was bang average at best on a very limited menu not to mention a cheeky service charge which I had taken off,much better elsewhere

I’ve enjoyed a few takeaways from here recently, they’re every bit as good as when you dine in. Superb.

Went for early Christmas party with about 40 people. Food choices orders were given 45 days in advance. Restaurant is not capable for large parties. We were on 5 tables. One table was served at a time. By the time last table served, people on first table reached home. I was part of last table, unfortunately. Sabji Korai, Daal Tarka had no spices at all. Not even enough salt and peppers. I had to eat my roti with green chillies. I would not recommend. Management’s attitude was very unprofessional hence completely ruined party indeed.

The food from here was absolutely disgusting! Possibly the worst Indian I’ve ever had. First of all, the man in the shop tried conning me thinking I was stupid by saying the set meal online was the ‘old one’ and the new one has less stuff! The food was sooooo oily! Absolutely swimming in oil! Whoever rated this place 5 stars clearly has no comparison for what a good Indian is. Would not recommend! Every single item was swimming in oil and they did not include the samosas or onion Bhajis that were meant to be in the set meal. Absolute waste of money.

Terrible service, staff have no manners and one is particularly rude, horrible atmosphere. The restaurant is also grubby and our menus were dirty. The food was just OK but the staff were hovering to grab plates away as soon as you finish, unfriendly and miserable. I see other reviews have said similar. My wife and I were looking forward to a nice meal to celebrate her birthday but the staff spoke to us like we were unwelcome gate crashers. Couldn't even be polite when taking our order. No customer service skills whatsoever. Never again. Miserable, rude and unwelcoming. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, avoid this one.
