I've been a regular customer at this restaurant because their food, especially the biryani, is always fantastic. The flavors are spot-on, and it's been my go-to for takeout. However, I've noticed a significant reduction in portion sizes recently. This was particularly disappointing when I paid extra for a larger portion to share with my family, only to find that it was much smaller than expected. While the quality of the food remains excellent, the portion sizes are not what they used to be, which is frustrating. I hope they address this issue soon because I really enjoy their food.

Absolutely disgusting! Asked for multiple portions of fresh pakoras, the man that served us refried pakoras in dirty oil. They were rock hard! We ordered seekh kebabs, a terrible mistake on our behalf. They tasted like stale cardboard with little to no flavour of anything. Aloo tiki tasted rotten! Would never recommend to anyone!

'That was one of the best curries I have ever had..... and Ive had lots!! if every order is like that, then I ain't going anywhere else!! I have been a regular at Shaan for several years, last night I was out with few friends and decided to eat here, we ordered few mix starters, chicken and meat masala. Must admit didn’t disappoint, mix starters were spot on and the curry’s had their own taste.

Visited last night, great food and amazing service. It's a hidden gem. Be sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.

I have been their customer for over 30 years , recently over the past 2 years , their standard of foot if ordered as a take away is pathetically low . They think people are stupid . Don’t sell food you would not eat yourself . Was a meat masala and 2 roti , one of the rotis was burnt , and meat masal was horrible with no taste . Avoid

everything was lovely. however the chicken burger was unappealing processed food. for the price it should have been a fillet burger. the chips were cold and soggy as well.

First time ordering from here...From order to delivery it was over 2 hours, contacted the restaurant and they where not very friendly, the food needed re heating. The delivery driver had good customer service and was apologetic for the delay

This isn't regarding this order I've made a call today to make an order an the man on the phone tried to charge me 20 pound for one curry I said how much is the curry he said 20 an put it down I rang again asking for manager an he put the phone down used shaan for years never again will I order how rude an disgusting who I spoke to

Food arrived cold had to warm it and even then wasn’t nice

Food was delicious only complaint I would have is when I last ordered I got the medium which was too hot this time we got the mild an that was also extreme hot and spicy so my little girl couldn't eat it

These mfs have their own rules,they open and close on their own fav times whenever they feel like providing wring information on google,now i have been standing outside the shop for 1 hour because it was supposed to open an hour ago and i keep saying to myself they must be coming now...now...now... well f it cos the food is average the service is very rude n sht anyway,only came here for some dessert i think is good here,but not again in life! If you dont believe,go to the place in morning,it happened twice i am sure it happens everyday ,wait and let everyone know what time they opened and what time was it showing on google they are opened!

Spicy, I'd recommend the chefs favourite.

Chips were cold on arrival and half the naan bread was hard and crispy. Most of the meat was okay tho

2nd time I have order for here the 1st time was amazing hence used them again but this time all the food was cold so we had to reheat it .which made the pakoras rubbery and chapati hard we didn't enjoy it this time at all

Disgusting mix starter never again

First time I’ve ordered and will defo again. I asked in comments for a certain way/choice and was spot on! Really tasty and proper old school with tender chicken thigh and keema. Only downside onion baj’s were over cooked (hard) otherwise would of been 110% rating but defo 98% and person who brought it was polite and friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends 👌

Did not give kulfi I did pay for it and I did not receive it Chicken biryani did not even taste like biryani chicken had too much fat tasted a week old and chicken tikka was too hard if you are paying for food we expect good quality and the correct food and no missing items bad experience this was a first time will be the last as well

This place is a the best place to get fresh authentic curry's av used this place for like over 20 years I totally recommend to ppl who are looking for the proper Asian style curry these are the ppl for you 💯%

This is first time I tired a mithai in Bradford it's taste awful and they don't have a good manners to talk.

First time ordering was expecting the curry to be more then what it was very standard for £10 it definitely wasn't worth it and the pickle tray I ordered with my poppadoms wasn't even a pickle tray just a load of random sauces :/ definitely over priced for what it is wouldn't order from here again

I ordered with Shaan through Uber Eats and have to say the time from putting in the order to having it delivered was just about right, not too quick and not too long. I ordered some a portion of onion bhajis, veg pakoras, aloo tikka, shami kebabs and samosas. The samosas are my only complain as there on the small side however that's where the nagativity ends, the onion bhajis were the real deal proper Indian style ones as we're the shami kebabs that were without a doubt the highlight. What really pushed my review to a five star rating is the fact they sent me a free bag of mixed salad, also a large tub of mint sauce and their own shaan sauce that complimented the starters very well. Overall a very pleasant experience, thank you.

One of the worst experiences I ever had. I have eaten Pakistani food throughout the UK but I have not ever eaten such poor quality food any where in the UK, the BBQ Platter was not fresh , they had refried the food , from karahi chicken smell was coming, pathetic experience for someone who went to bradford for the first time

I come here every 2 or 3 years when I visit my aunt and the food is always fantastic. They are a bit rough round the edges and don't expect the food to be made in under 30 minutes but it's worth the wait. I feel this place is authentic and the people running it feel real. Great little Bradford treasure, will be back in 2 years time. Negative reviews here make me realise people need to calm down, sit back and have a beer while waiting for some amazing food. No need for the hussle and bustle, chill people :)

I have been using Shaan Resturant for over 20 years now and the food is excellent and fairly priced too, a nice seating area inside and the also cater for all events and functions.

I ordered a takeaway and although the food was of good quality, the let down was the restaurant took well over an hour to deliver the food and that was when I rang and queried about it. Apart from this I can not complain of the food delivered as it was excellent quality.

I WALKED INTO THE BUILDING AND THE OWNER SHAAN AND A SERVER FLY KICKED ME AND FORCED ME TO HAVE SOME CURRY , A MAN NAMED HASSAN ALI CAME AND SLAPPED ME UP AND SAID HES GONNA CALL HIS CUZZY BIG TARIQ OFF HR ROAD TO KICK THE FOOK OUT OF ME

Food was cold, arrived late, and burnt onion bhajis, salad bag doused in curry, took them over an hour to prepare a single curry a few chapattis and burnt onion bhaji's. This is the worst service I've ever had from a restaurant. I would not recommend anybody order from this place, unless they want the same service.

I'd ordered some food from here, one curry, a few chapattis and some onion bhajis, took them longer than an hour to prepare the food and the food arrived late. The food arrived cold, and I received a soggy wet salad bag which was full of curry. This is beyond a joke, for a restaurant to take longer than an hour to prepare a single curry and a few chapattis is shambolic. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I wouldn't recommend anybody to order from here unless you want the same experience as I had.
