The 3 Singhs in Bradford

This restaurant is now closed and has been taken over by the international Morley street Bradford. It will re open in around 6 weeks. No signs up to say it’s closed thou !!!

Well where can I start? Oh yeah I cant cause nobody bothered to even take our drinks order after being sat there for 15 minutes. Staff managed to give us a lovely as they stood around doing absolutely nothing on our way out complete waste of time. Did get quite a lot of time to study the menu and from what we saw was quite overpriced if you want to even bother waiting to try order got to akbars and don't bother

Ordered 2 curries with chapattis chicken pakora loved it. Seen some reviews. Some negative. Will be back next week. Fabulous .

Nice place to sit. Staff ok but seemed a little stressed and understaffed. Food mixed. Prawns overcooked and some of the chicken was very tough. Flavours nice and excellent rice and naan. Probably wouldn't recommend overall.

10 of use went from work on the 16th August 22 and I cannot fault anything. Staff were friendly food was delicious and the price was spot on. This is not our first visit and will definitely not be out last. Best curry in bradford x

We ordered a take away from 3 Singh, 2 masala dishes and a mixed naan. The whole meal was awful. The mixed naan was dry and the naan was stiff as a chopping board. Tge masala, omg worst I have EVER had. No taste at all, the meat was huge chunks, I needed a knife to cut it up smaller so I could eat it. The masala sauce was bland and more like a basic curry sauce. No tomatoes in dish like a masala dish. The only thing that was edible was the chapattis, they were soft and fluffy. Rest went in bin as well as the menu. Save your money and eat from elsewhere.

Very rude waitressing staff, very slow service, less than average food. There are so many better places in Bradford. This place used to be somewhere we went very frequently but has gone down hill. Our waitress was that annoyed that we asked her a couple of times how long drinks and food were going to be that when I politely thanked her at the end of the night, she just glared at me. We definitely won’t ever return and it’s a shame as we live less than a mile away. Your staff need better supervision and customer service training, they are inadequate at best.

We visited today. There is a reason why there were only 3 tables occupied including ours! We ordered chicken, prawn and paneer tilkka. The prawns were £9.50 for a very small portion and they were tasteless. The paneer was very heavy on one spice and not edible. Chicken tikka was not bad. The lamb curry was served in the smallest karai dish I have ever seen and it was £14. There was barely any meat in the dish and it was packed out with red and green peppers!!! We struggled to find the meat in-between the peppers. We were definetly robbed today!! Will not be going there again!!!

Went for a treat for our 30th anniversary. Great customer service up to getting food. Curry was just okay. However when my pashwari Naan was under cooked. Raw dough in the middle. Only offered cost of nana as recompense.

Doing a Wednesday evenings curry tour of Bradford with my son and strict rules on what we order so we can make comparisons 1/ jug of tap water 2/ chicken bhuna 3/garlic naans. The jug of water came with lemon and lime and ice so far so good. The chicken chunks were big and succulent the sauce was outstanding perfect taste and texture. The charming server told us we would only need 1 naan between us and she was right and it was absolutely perfect in every way. Once the tour is over 3 singhs is top of the list so far for a return visit (it’s the 4th we’ve tried) can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.

First time visiting, food was absolutely outstanding and service on point. Will definitely recommend to others and be returning very very soon

The service and food was nice. Felt overall the cost was not justifiable to the food and drink….especially compared to other similar local eateries esp when they are classified at a higher level

Tell you what - this was a top top curry. Poppadoms were great. If I’m being picky the pickle tray maybe a little small. Brother spotted the aubergine starter which was a little underwhelming TBH. But the chicken jalfrezi main was excellent - not too much kick and v tasty. Tarka Dahl set it off v nicely. Peshwari naan was great (saved some of that for breakfast). Cobra beer v welcome. Service was great - we even made the excellent waitress Charly smile by the end (my nephew cracked out his winning smile !)

First time visiting here after being recommended by friends who joined us. Lovely bright and clean venue with a warm welcome. Waiter/ress service were friendly and attended our table regularly to take order service and check we were ok. Food was amazing. Good sized portions and tasted lovely Would recommend and will visit again

After visiting twice in a month with 2 groups of friends I’m sorry to say that after years of patronage we all agreed that service had deteriorated so badly that we shall not bother again. After taking our bar drinks to the table that was the last we saw of the waiters until I went to find a manager after waiting over 30 mins with no food or drink orders been taken. It seems to be young lads serving with no supervision, they just hang around the kitchen door deliberately avoiding customers trying to gain their attention. After asking what vegan options were available we we told all the vegetable dishes were vegan despite some containing cheese. We had to call them over for later drink rounds and ask for cutlery. Also very difficult to get attention when trying to pay. In summary poorest service ever experienced so different from a number of years ago.

On a recent trip to the city we passed this restaurant and decided just to call in. We were not disappointed The food is excellent and the restaurant is clean Staff were also really courteous

Visited 3 Sings with family and friends for a meal on Thursday night. The staff were welcoming and smiled providing a nice table to accommodate all 8. The staters were great both vegetarians & non veg. We all had a good meal.

Visited and ordered 2 tikka masala, one chicken, one lamb. Both came and tasted only of salt. My partner ate some of his, I couldn’t so asked fir another one less salt. Was told by the waitress curries are served with lots of added salt so in the future ask for less salt!!! My partner drunk 3 cokes whilst there. Mine come back a completely different colour sauce with what I’m not sure was lamb so I politely asked if I could take it home.Both of us have been poorly for 2 days with chronic cramps and diahorrea.No reduction when asked politely to the bill.The writers did say it is shutting down!!I wonder why!Never again!

After many years of being loyal Akbar customers - following a bad experience and being charged £11 (Yes £11!!! ) for some extra sauce we switched to The 3 Singhs.Honestly can’t praise this place enough. Whether we eat in or get a take out the staff are so friendly - Infact they know us by name now - a nice personal touch! The best curries around for sure!!! We have never ever had any issues with temperature, portion sizes etc with any of our food and always know we will be happy with what’s to come Thank you - keep it up!!!

My husband & I have been coming here on and off for 8 years roughly about 8+ times a year. We have never had a bad experience whether that be the food or the staff. On the whole, the food, the service and the staff are very nice. As for some of the reviews about waiting for food...I personally would sooner wait for my food to be how I would expect it to cooked and served instead of being rushed and not being to the standard I expect. I always look forward to eating here and trying new things to eat. I am a wuss when it comes to spicy heat - but if you ask them to tone it down and don't make it as spicy - they will do that for you so you still get to enjoy all the amazing flavours.

Takeaway service. The website says it delivers, it doesn't. But that was fine. Food took longer to be prepared than was stated. Food was ok, but only ok. We ordered 5 different curries, three of them, despite being a different style were pretty much identical, it was only the meat that we could tell apart. The Korma, was the mildest I've ever seen, was just chicken in a cream sauce, no flavour, no coconut. Food was salty, no never drunk so much water through the night after a curry. Doubt i would go back. Being a takeaway it wasn't possible to have food returned or the Korma would have been sent back to the kitchen. But the staff on the phone and at reception were lovely.

Visited recently while on a family visit to the area. We all tried a different dish and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. The young lady who served us was charming and friendly . A spacious clean restaurant we would be happy to visit again.

The starters were dry and over cooked. Mains were ok, if a bit salty. Although one of the dishes we had (a mince one) just tasted liked cooked mince (not much spices).

Monday night is usually busy but waited over an hour for my takeaway no apologies or anything. Bad service.

Looked on Trip Advisor and this was the best curry house closest to the hotel I was staying in, by reviews.

I don't know why I don't go to this place more frequently because the food is excellent. I met some friends here a few months ago and really enjoyed everything. So I recommended it for our annual Christmas Curry. This time there were fourteen of us, all of whom had very positive comments about it. I do think the bar is somewhat expensive, at £3.50 for a bottle of Kingfisher and £3.90 for a pint of Cobra but the food itself is very reasonably priced. The restaurant is not particularly close to anything but if your night out doesn't depend on going on to other establishments it's perfect.

Service ok but the food was poor. Been many times but don't think we will be going again any time soon. Really disappointed.

Went to the 3 Singhs based on the reviews and expecting something a bit special, but were disappointed. Poppadoms were good and crisp, and the dips ok, but not that flavoursome. Vegetable biryani was so large it could have fed two, though the side salad was well presented along with the mint dip, the Biryani seemed piled high on the plate with no regard for presentation. The chicken tikka Masala was well presented though and good coconut flavour. The spinach and potato curry was extremely hot and needs greater presentation and thought as it wasn't balanced as a meal. The garlic naan was one of those huge ones on a plate rather than hung up with great pieces of garlic as well as garlic butter.

I come every monday always phone order in for takeout always get told a time normally good on time but today 15.4.19 got told 6.30 would be ready waited for nearlly a hour no appoligy from staff or anything and when got home missing a chips and then naan bread had a garlic taste i understand gets busy but a little custom service wouldnt go a miss think mote have to start going some where else

Frequent today 13.04.2019. Very pleasant staff. Always in hand and the meal was delicious. Defo recommend the 3 signhs rate 10 out of 10.

A wonderful evening meal whilst away with work. We always try a Curry night. This was a really good meal, excellent flavours. Good value for money. Highly recommended Thank you for a most enjoyable meal and evening out

My husband and I visited The 3 Sinhgs on a whim after hearing the good reviews, and we weren't disappointed! We both agreed that it was the second best Indian curry we have ever had (and weve eaten a lot of curry!). We happened to visit on a Monday and the place was packed out so we were lucky to get a table in the first place. Very glad they could accommodate us because the food was spectacular! When we got our bill, we initially thought there had been an error... We didn't realise at the time but they do a 2-4-1 deal on a Monday I think. We couldn't believe such good quality food could be so cheap! We will definitely be returning and don't mind coming on a non-2-4-1 day because the food is well worth paying a little more for! On top of the fab food, the staff were also really friendly and all seemed to enjoy their customer service roles which is refreshing to see!

Visited for a meal last night, and as always we wasn’t disappointed. Food was lovely and staff were very attentive we was waited on by a pleasant young lady Lucy, who couldn’t do enough for us! We look forward to our next visit.

Went to the 3 singhs Sunday evening for a family birthday meal of 8 and what a experience we had from start to finish food was always as expected brilliant and service was 5* will be going again in the near future

The food was lovely. Chicken Kharkiv and a three singhs special, with a mixed grill starter. Service was great, Lucy looked after us checking in on if we needed anything throughout our evtand made us feel great

Went tonight with 3 friends. Mixed kebab starter was terrible. Cold in the middle tasted like it had been frozen and reheated badly. Friends mixed grill Smelt funny and meat was tuff and inedible. When we asked the waiter what the meat was he said "I dunno it might be lamb". The main course chicken dopiaza came and it immediately smelt terrible and tasted awful. Chicken raw in the middle and smelt really pungent. As 2 of us had ordered it we immediately asked to speak to the manager who went to ask the kitchen. He came back and said "oh the chef thinks it might be the sauce". It again tasted like a very badly reheated curry. My friends rice was hard and cold. We refused to pay for the main courses.. 3 singhs used to be very good but quite frankly is disgusting..and needs closing down.

Poor mixed tikka starter. Lamb tough and chicken tasteless. Mains with too many onions and poor sauce. Had a better curry from M&S;! We mentioned our disappointment when paying bill but waiter didn’t offer to reduce it. He said he would tell the chef! Needless to say, we will NEVER go any.

Absolutely disgusting....don’t waste your money probably the worst food I’ve ever had ....expensive too....

Amazing food and fast delivery.

Fairly traditional dishes with a little modern twist. Food was tasty and portions were good with plenty of meat. Lamb was tender and not chewy which can often be the case with Indian restaurants.

Brother and I took our cousin for a great curry here. Poppadoms of course. Nice pickle tray. Then fish tikka starter was excellent. Cousin and I both went for 3 singhs special. V tasty and good variety in there. Peshwari naan was excellent as well. Had half left for lunch the next day. Very young lad serving us was excellent throughout. Will go again I'm sure.

We visited the Three Singhs restaurant and we were looking forward to the meal,the popadoms were fine and the naan looked good, we ordered chicken bhuna and lamb makhani, the lamb dish arrived and was the colour of tomato ketchup , the chicken bhuna was only slightly less red, and it tasted awful. Now Makhani should be creamy light brown and Bhuna brown, i looked around and most peoples curry looked the same.

Visited 7.12.18. Great service ambience, sent the burnt lamb chps back. Fish starter was nice. Paneer saag edible, naan nice. Was hoping sikh punjabi food, instead it was a piss poor bengali cheff. Real shame the place n concept can bounce with a proper punjabi cheff!!!

We had a trainee waitress - her first night on duty, but she was coached well. The Mixed Vegetable Masala was excellent - tasty and vegetables were not over-cooked. The Pilau Rice was also good. The Garlic Chicken, however was too sweet - it tasted as though sugar had been added to the dish and the sweetness was sickly. I'll give the restaurant another try, though.

Myself and my girlfriend visited 1/12/2018. The food was absolutely diabolical . The curry I ordered was like Tin of tamatos with garlic contributed . Then to add insult to injury . We complained only to be told by the waitress a aggressive comment , I was absolutely disgusted , please do not eat here it’s horrendous

We arrived around 8pm and it was virtually full. The food was of a high standard and 2. The staff especially Charlie was very polite and full of smiles. Definitely recommend here.

used to be my favourite take away, for the last 2 month every curry I order tastes like washing up liquid, proper let down I’ll be ordering from somewhere else in future.

Rang restaurant to see where food was.. as it had changed our from 20.30 to 20.45 and after 21.00 hours it was still not here.. to be told it must have been delivered my drivers are here to then be told oh hes outside.. had to walk on to road for him to say oh i couldnt find you.. is that not why you leave a contact number??? finally got food inside it looked lovely but was flat cold

We have had really nice starters from here (on a low carb diet) and decided to treat ourselves with full blown curry. Not good and won’t be ordering again! Chapattis very nice but both chicken Balti and chicken makhani had strange taste to them.

The rogan josh was very watery and the chicken in it was tasteless. This wasn’t what we usually expect from the 3 Singhs. We were very very disappointed this time.

Food shocking my dog wouldn't even touch the food that was delivered. Donner meat tasted like a cardboard and a chicken... wouldn't even call it a chicken. Do not recommend this restaurant.

Food was 1.5 hours to deliver we were quoted an hour. As it was a sat knew it would take ages but what was annoying was the food was cold and they forgot the peswari naan. When called they said they would deliver it as soon as possible. This took 20 mins. When it came they gave us popodoms. BUT the naan was burnt. Totally inedible. Spoilt the meal for me as the naan is my fave and I'd left food to have with it. Didnt call them again about it as couldnt be bothered by this point. Totally disappointed especially when they knew they forgot the naan would thought they would have checked it. Don't think they would have served that at the restaurant. Not sure I'm going to order takeaway again. It's better in the restaurant.

1 3/4 hours for delivery of cold food. Once warmed could only be classed as average. Won't be getting another.

Came surprisingly quick and didn't put coriander in half my order (I asked for none in any but nowhere ever listens to this so it was better than most places) the food was the letdown, the naan and rice were lovely, the curry was ok, wouldn't complain but probably wouldn't eat again. My tikka fish was what ruined everything, every bit I tried had bones in so had to throw it away a quarter in. pretty expensive for the quality of food you get.

Arrived late samosa were burnt and all split open in the middle, tikka Masala looked curdled and chicken was rubbery asif it had been microwaved and the naan was doughy

I hour and 20 minutes , for a delivery is far too long .......the hunger n excitement for the food has got up n gone ..........

This was my worst experience of a takeaway the Curry’s arrived cold and wasn’t the Curry’s we was expecting, they was no chappatis so I had to ring up to ask why, the person that answered the phone was so rude, the delivery guy was even ruder, I will never order from here again

Been a while since I’ve ordered and I was HUGELY disappointed! The karahi was disgusting and runny, chips undercooked the whole meal was thrown in the bin!! To say the food comes from the restaurant I’d expect restaurant quality food but this was utter garbage! Will not be ordering again or visiting your restaurant either

The food was late and quality was poor. I requested the restaurant for cuttlery which the restaurant accepted but did not put any in the delivery. The so called special dish rice was bad taste however the Peshawar naan was very good.

It was not what I ordered. It was a mince curry not pieces of meat. I have done the same order about 20 times and this is the only time they have got it wrong. Was not happy this time with the curry.

Okay food. Curry was tasteless, starters weren’t too bad, but 3 tiny pieces of chicken for £4.00 seems slightly steep. Delivery came late and lukewarm. Won’t order again.
