Very disappointed as the food is generally good. Ordered lamb saag. There was hardly any meat in the dish. Also ordered a garlic naan which was burnt. It was a takeaway and I don't live nearby.

Absolutely brilliant service, food is lovely and the waiter (raj) makes me laugh every single time I’m here. That’s why I come back, Always in a great mood!! Jeff the manager is a brilliant person and always great with my son. Would highly recommend!! Football is the best here! Lots of TV screens. Come on Arsenal :)

This is the best Indian restaurant in North London, and maybe in the whole of the UK. Please, please don't go or tell anyone about it. I don't want to get turned away because it's fully booked and you're sitting at 'my' table. Stay away, you won't like it, it's far too spicy for your nan. Best, Sarah P.s. The food was too oily and not hot it came cold .

First time in a London, and me and my cousin and his wife came here for dinner. I ordered the neema Naan and lamb Karashi medium spice 4 and cobra beer. It was delicious, will be back.

I initially didn't write a review, yet Boulevard replied confusing me with somebody else (see below). I did not use Uber Eats and my order was not late. My one star rating was for the tasteless food.

We have eaten here many times, as it is just 5 mins walk from where we live. I can honestly say that my family LOVES The Boulevard. The food is always freshly cooked and sizzling hot; big portions and so delicious! You can ask how spicy you like your food. The staff are always so friendly and efficient. Jeff who runs it is fantastic and always make you feel welcome. Chilled relaxed vibe. Just love it!

Quiet, a little old but good food and not badly priced. Good service.

Lovely Indian food. Very tasty and good choice on the menu from starters through main and dessert. Serves good range of beers and spirits. Nice atmosphere for just two or even large groups. We went as part of our golf society day and they catered easily for 20 of us. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Very little restrictions on parking close by.

Only found if you have friends in London. The food was excellent and we ordered 4 different dishes so everyone could try something from each. Water was free and everyone had a drink. We managed to get by on 30 pounds for 4 people including tips.

Very disappointed with the food, worst chilli paneer ever. Same sauce/gravy in multiple dishes. You cannot go wrong with Tarka Dal, that was below the mark too!

It honestly exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it. We got delivery but I hope to go in person soon. At first I thought it was expensive but when it arrived the portions were a Decent size. So much delicious well balanced flavours. Best curry I’ve had in a long time.

Great flavours, excellent choice

The food was spot on as always yesterday, thanks to Jeff and the staff with exceptional service. The best part (that I was surprised about) was the discount they have going right now - say JEFF25 when your bill arrives and you get 25% off! I will be returning!

The food is amazing, especially their lamb chops... No idea what's in the coating they put on them, but damn they are good. Most dishes seem to come up a little spicier than expected, such as the Korma, which actually makes for a nice change. Thoroughly recommended 👍

Don’t let the exterior fool you! Good food (East African and Indian) and understated interior and exterior. Gluten free seekh kebab is a must for the fella. Chilli garlic mushrooms (spicy) and in a thick tasty gravy/curry. Goes well with rice and/or naan. Batata vada good size and spicy potato stuffing. Potato bajjia was ok. Dal makhani wasn’t too bad. Could be a bit creamier and cooked a bit longer in the spices for the flavours to blend into the daal. Garlic mogo does not disappoint. Great and friendly service!

A small sports bar but the food is amazing - go almost once a week for the last 6 months and never had an issue. Always clean and always tasty food.

I have been coming to the Boulevard on and off for over 20 years the place never fails to disappoint the food is very good and authentic everything is fresh full of flavour and aroma and well presented also the staff are very friendly and welcoming what more can you ask I highly recommend the Boulevard we will back again soon!

The chicken wings were very nice and spicy. However, the veggie samosas were far too sweet - nasty! I don’t know how that is possible. Did you use caramelised onions and sugar only? it was so bad that I probably will never order from here again The fenugreek dough balls were full of dough but no flavour. Apart from the chicken wings this was a big disappointment

The food was so tasty, full of garlic!! Driver bought the food on time so the food was nice and warm! Thank you to the driver, who didn't make other stops resulting in cold food like all my other previous orders! 👌

This place has it all! It’s warm, cosy, has good food and good service! The food is always super tasty and you can’t fault the service! Highly recommend the crispy wings and the chilli chicken! One of the best restaurants in North London for sure.

Went in last night and kitchen had just closed but they opened it up for us and let us stay a little past closing so we could finish our food. Food was really tasty and service was amazing too.

Food is sooo spicy despite haveling requested it to be mild. Otherwise really lovely. Service is a little haphazard, we were using their function room at the back and they kept getting our tables wrong... and doubling up on orders... i mean ok yeh free food for us as they wouldnt take it back! Theyre missing a trick.... they need to do cocktails!

Brilliant food made to taste even better with great service from a staff member called Raj. Even when it is busy he somehow manages to keep on top of everything so everyone is satisfied. Along with the food, his skills are a great coup for Boulevard.

Really bad food quality . Burnt lamb chops . Also we ordered chicken lollipops and they served us chicken wings and that was from frozen too. They said we sell this item as lollipops. Lamb chops all burnt . Ordered brandy with separate water they served pre mixed . Service very poor by manager and owner. Avoid going there and please stop wasting your money guys. Main chef was not there one of the staff said.

We’ve been coming to Boulevard for something like 10+ years, and it’s our go to for excellent indian food, relaxing atmosphere and fantastic service. In all of that time, we’ve never left a review, so thought it was about time. If you want a really tasty and fresh indian meal, with a wide selection of drinks, look no further. We can’t recommend it any higher. If you want your food done to your particular (heat) taste, just ask. It’s very authentic, so expect your palate to be taken on a journey!

Chicken tikka masala was WAY too hot, couldn’t even eat it. It was really watery and hardly any chicken. Terrible!

A great restaurant with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. They have some unique dishes with names ending "cocktail" which i will recommend. Another thing i noticed is there are more veg options as compared to other indian restaurants which was welcoming. A bit pricy now as compared to a couple of months ago but it was worth it Avoid days when football is ON as it will be overcrowded

Ordered veg kofta was ok..nice consistency of gravey but too tangy, think they added lemon to it...not too pleasant. Naan was lovely and soft. Starters had mogo & bhajia they were nice. Not much of an atmosphere, would be nice to have music. Very cold in there air con was on!

Efficient service and yummy food

First (and last) time we order from this restaurant. We made an order on 25/06/2022 at 22:20. It was disappointing the food we receive as it was, first very expensive for the quality of the food (I would say it was overprice), second, we ordered butter chicken but what we received wasn’t butter chicken as it was spicy and it wasn’t like any other we have eat from other Indian restaurants (it was worse). What I am guessing is because we made the order near to closing time they didn’t have enough butter chicken sauce and they mixed it with other left over sauce on purpose to make 2 portions. Third the poppadum it was one piece when on other Indian restaurants giving you two pieces. Again I don’t know if it was because we made the order late and they didn’t have enough or because they are giving only one piece. What I know it’s the first time we are seeing something like this. Finally my recommendation it’s negative and we won’t order again.

Ordered butter chicken but it was not butter chicken, it was very spicy. Possibly because we ordered late and they just sent what they had left and covered it up to be butter chicken. Also ordered popadoms and got one broken and crumbled delivered. Extremely disappointing considering the high price!

Garlic mogo was great, ordered the chicken tikka masala which was creamy tasted slightly sour and not like the average tikka masala so I wouldn't order that again. I was really disappointed in the garlic naan. Its too highly priced for what is is. It was thin, chewy and burnt around the edges. Portions were a good size.

Had a terrible experience a few days back when I ordered food for a Diwali get together on the 5th. We ordered an Egg Biryani, Veg Kofta curry and Egg curry along with Naan. We had to throw the entire meal away apart from the Naans as it was no fit for consumption. We had to re-order food for our guests as the currries were under cooked to the point where you can taste the raw masala in gravy, almost like it was uncooked. The kofta tasted like a medicine, and the egg biryani too had raw masala in it, like the rice were simple tossed with masala and packed. I normally never write reviews like these, but I was shocked as the restaurant is well reviewed, but it seemed like someone who has never cooked before had prepared that meal, which was impossible to eat. Both the curries and the side dish given with Biryani tasted the same!! Since complaining to Uber eats never does anything, and it really did ruin our night, and no action was really taken, I had to share it here. Not sure if the restaurant had a bad night, or it was our luck, but quite possible the worst meal I have ever ordered.

A hidden gem. The food is outstanding.

Always had a positive experience in this Indian restaurant/bar, located on Friern Barnet Road opposite Princess Park Manor. The food is always cooked to perfection, with well sized portions which personally make it hard to finish. The Customer service is simply brilliant, thank you Jeff for always bringing the energy 😅 Added bonus is that this has great bar and shows football & other sporting events across many screens. 5* Would definitely recommend on overall experiences 👍🏼

Excellent food, very spicy, will definitely be going back again.

We were a party of about twelve people from my partner's sports club, and went to this restaurant to celebrate the end of the season. It's a fairly busy road, but in the evening street parking is quite easy. The ambience is relaxed and friendly, and we had a cosy corner of the restaurant reserved for us. The menu is quite large, with all the popular Indian dishes as well as a few more unusual ones, for example the Gujarati starter dish patra which you never see in restaurants but then this is a Gujarati family business. We ordered a variety of veg and non veg starters and main dishes which were all well received. I didn't have any of the meat dishes as I was sitting with the vegetarians of the group, but everything I tried was excellent. All freshly prepared and not drowning in oil (as can be the case in Indian restaurants), and beautifully spiced. Portions were larger than expected, and we probably over ordered, so beware. The staff were cheerful and courteous, and were observing Covid precautions. Prices were typical for London.

After so many years, still excellent tasting food, a lot of choice and nice setting to enjoy a good night out.
