It was our second time eating here as we really enjoyed the food and again it didn't disappoint but the service by the man who served us was abrupt verging on being rude . I had barely sat on my seat and I was asked if I wanted a drink not even picked up the menu !! We ordered wine , table water a starter and a main course . The starter arrived very quickly and no sooner had we finished and plates cleared then our main course arrive ,I certainly needed a breather in between courses but it was less than 2 mins ! Food was tasty but the service was so rushed and we didn't feel very welcome .

My wife Val and I went yesterday evening again to one of our favourite restaurants. The food and atmosphere was first class but we want to thank Zahed whose service was exemplary , helpful and extremely attentive . Phil and Val

Our first time at this long established restaurant. The staff were freat and there is an extensive choice on the menu. We had chicken tikka massala, a chilli lamb dish, special pillau rice, tarkha dhall, sag aloo and onion bhaji. All dishes were freshly prepared and very tasty. Wine choices are good and prices very reasonable. Great meal!!

I have been to most of the Indian restaurants in Glasgow and near by but while driving to Dunoon, we saw this place and thought to ourselves should we try Indian food here. Well it turned out to be one of best places I have had Indian food, but their service was just excellent. They kept my 2 yr old son entertained by giving him something or other. when I think of Indian places I never expect that kind of hospitality but they were too good.

I visited here twice recently with family. The restaurant is a very comfortable area to eat in. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. As a person with dairy and egg allergies the menu is quite limiting. However, I have had the same dish on both occasions and it is absolutely stunning. I’m also sure if I asked the kitchen staff to change a dish for me they most certainly would, it’s just that kind of place. Everybody I visited with on both occasions enjoyed their food and commented in particular, particularly how delicious the flavours were. This is certainly a restaurant. I will be frequenting with friends and family in years to come. There is a car park at the rear with only a few spaces at the front, but it is very convenient nonetheless. Well done to the team here for being very hospitable, providing good service and most of all cooking really nice food.

The restaurant had good food and the staff were generally kind. However, while we were eating, they kept approaching the table to check if anything was finished, and they would take away empty plates without asking. It felt intrusive and gave the impression that we were being rushed. In the future, it would be better if staff waited for customers to call them or at least asked before removing anything from the table. A more respectful approach would really improve the dining experience.

Unfortunately we didn't have the best time here. It started out great with the service and being sat to our table. The poppadoms and dips were great. Our starters were dry and the samosas seemed like they were frozen and the fried, very greasy. The paneer tikka was also overcooked and very dry. Our mains were very tasteless for an Indian restaurant. My partner has a saag dish that was greasy and had little to no flavour. My 'chef specialiaty' dish that promised a depth of spices, tasted like burnt curry powder with tomato added. We did not have any 'check-backs' and we weren't even asked how our meal was after the fact, to let our servers know how our food was. TLDR, we had both had positive experiences with this restaurant a few years ago, but unfortunately the food has become tasteless and the service lacking.

Best Indian style food in the area very consistent quality and very attentive staff.

Tristemente muy decepcionado. Simplemente se trasladó a la zona y estaba dispuesto a dar a este lugar una oportunidad a través de comida para llevar. Pedido Cordero Naga, pollo Bhuna y mantequilla de pollo y algunos lados que llegaron a aproximadamente £ 70 (debería ser bueno a ese precio). El cordero Naga era graso y el plato estaba lleno de aceite. El pollo Bhuna era 80% cebolla y era idéntico a una salsa Pataks y muy acuoso, y el pollo Butter era en realidad un pollo Pasanda. En general era insípido y muy básico. Esperemos que estos chicos estuvieran teniendo un día libre o el chef normal no estuviera ya que es una pena que este lugar no sea mejor... .. especialmente porque no hay competencia... .. este lugar podría ser increíble.

Best Indian restaurant around. Very friendly staff, great service and delicious food.

Celebrated my 65th birthday with a lunch for 26 lovely ladies, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The food was exceptional, and the service was absolutely fantastic. The staff were attentive, warm, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We all had a truly wonderful day—so many smiles, laughter, and great memories. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. Thank you to the entire team for making it so memorable!

Not had much luck with take aways in Hull in particular Asian ones, this was superb, one of the if not the best Dopiaza we have had, more expensive than many but truly worth it.
