Used to go the tandoori years ago, it was plush, colourful, intimate with the booths and indian, been today an theres no indian style, open plan, dull and non atmospheric. Staff an food was fine ,not alot of engish dishes, no tbone steak sadly. Not bad value but it was much better how it used to be,

I’ve been going weekly to this restaurant, to collect take-away meals for over 6 months. I’ve not had a bad meal ever, and the quality is not only excellent, but also consistently good. The staff are pleasant and parking is available close by. My thanks go to all the staff, for preparing such enjoyable meals.

Service was terrible. I oder lamb briyani it's was greasy its like microwave fast foods . We came at 9.30 pm by at 10 15 pm they want us to go because its clised sonn I wonder they foods taste so awful manager attitude so bad . So I put bad review. The wost restaurant I ever been in my life. Never going there again feel imbarest to recommended to friends .

Literally couldn't fault it, they even had a whopping 13 air fresheners in the girls bathroom

1st time trying these guys for delivery and was told the usual at least an 1 hour for delivery which you expect. Not only did the food arrive within 25 minutes but it was all amazing, not one fault at all. Best I've had for years.

Great eating and a delight. The fish tikka starter is delicious and copious! If you can handle VERY hot, the house special Dhamaka ("Blast"!) is absolutely spot on… although I order it as a takeaway (generous portions) and divide it into 3 or 4 and save—for economy and gastrointestinal comfort's sake! Also, the Fish Mosaka is FULL of fish and delish! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Had a take away tonight. All I can say is worst meal we’ve had from here. Chicken was gristley & chewy. Masala sauce was just tasteless as was the pilau rice. Hubby said Karahi sauce was Okish but not the best. Had some fantastic meals in restaurant & take away in the past but tonight was awful. Sorry but will be avoiding for a while!!!

I arrived to meet two waiters one of whom was obsessed with his phone. The food was ok but no more than that. There was a large amount of tomato puree in my dish which overwhelmed the other ingredients.

Love this place the food and staff are equally fantastic. If you haven't tried Indian food, get down there. There is air conditioning too.

I had a delivery to Weston Point it was Lamb Dupiaza with Pilau rice, poppadoms and full range of pickle tray.,., the lamb I believe is fillet strips just like beef fillet steak,., they really do use the most expensive cuts and most tender melt in your mouth., beautiful ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC BEST INDIAN FOOD this side of Liverpool and Manchester

Stopped for a meal , excellent service food was spot on a good portion, staff were very attentive. Living 200 mikes away its a bit far for a night put but will be back when in the area . Also some interesting items on the menu I.e suicide phall

This was really miserable. You cannot cook, package and deliver food in 23 minutes start to finish unless it was pre prepared and sitting under a heat lamp. It showed. Food was barely warm, almost spongy in texture and just very sad. Threw it away

This place should be more busy than it is because the food is excellent, price is reasonable and the staff are really friendly too.

We used to love this place. However, our last orders, the portion sizes have noticeable shrunk, all the curries now taste the same, and the rice's and sides aren't of the same quality. I don't know if it's changed ownership or lost its chef, but yeah, it's not as good

I have used this place over 30 years from the focus nite club days over the road..and still use it today by far the nicest Indian food I have eatin..and I have travelled a fair bit..USA.egypt.europe.hope am still using it in another 30/40 years..🤣🥳well done guys

Yet another lovely meal at Tandoori Nights. Karen and I have frequently dined here for quite some time. The staff Sam and Abid are really friendly and helpful. Once you get to know them they can't do enough for you. Also Paula is very helpful. The food is, I can only say excellent.

Ordered regularly and for the past few months they have not got 1 order right absolutely shocking service, poor attitude. When you ring to say your order is missing things which you've payed for they basically tell you to do one shocking will not be ordering again

Been a number of times and have never had a bad meal. We keep going back as the food is always tasty and hot. Staff are friendly and will make suggestions if not sure what to have. They will also heat things up or down to your tastes. Highly recommend trying ! 👌

Awful for BIR curry lovers. However, this is a great Indian if you're from Runcorn and know nothing about Indian food. For anyone looking for authentic BIR food, I'm afraid to tell you it is boring and dull. We ordered four curries all of them had the same texture none had any herbs such as coriander, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, cloves or such. The curries came in what looked like breakfast bowls which were a first and another surprise was the naan, more like flatbread, that had been cut into triangles with a pizza slicer! Awful. They didn't resemble anything remotely like a naan I have eaten thicker patties. They are supposed to be cooked in a tandoor oven, slightly charred on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You traditionally eat either rice or naan. If you eat naan you place the curry inside and wrap it up which was impossible. As dominos must have been around cutting them all into triangles although they were too small and the wrong shape, regardless. From the moment I saw this, I knew it was designed for the Runcorn audience, who would get too confused with a knife and fork and are more used to Asda or Iceland curries. To be fair, which are more authentic. On the same level of class as the local barbers and local gym! Digging into the curry further found absolutely no texture no tomatoes, onion or peppers it looked like they has all been blended. However, the curries had so much food colouring they seemed to be glowing. Something that maybe contributed to the lighting issue illuminating the table. The restaurant was 30/40% full however the service was incredibly slow. The meat was cooked well if you like it extra soft dissolving in your mouth and that's the only positive I can give. If you have no teeth or use dentures this would be great for you. It would be great to take your nan or maybe kids who don't like real Indian food with spice or someone who knows nothing about BIR food. However, the food may be cheap in quality it is extremely expensive and overpriced. I would strongly recommend staying away unless you don't like nice British India restaurant food, in that case, enjoy.

Still the best Indian restaurant by far in and around the runcorn area staff are brilliant food the best no more Chippy food for me so much flavour and spice tandoori lamb chops jalfrezi and special rice brilliant

I have lived in Runcorn since 2012 and this was my first visit here. The food was lovely and staff friendly. Will definitely be back and won't be leaving it 10 years.

Ordered a takeaway took two hours to arrive and when it did arrive it was feeezing cold. Poor.

The food was really good quality and the service was quick. The staff were polite but could have been a little friendly (they were absolutely not rude just not very chatty). The furniture and table setting could do with some improvement. Overall a good experience and next time a crave a curry I will be back!

Lovely restaurant and food is always nice.

First time visit before a concert at The Brindley and was very impressed. Staff asked if we were attending a show which was great as the service was really quick. Amazing amount of food on the menu. The food we had was excellent and very different in tastes and the peshwari naan was superb. Drinks can be expensive but overall would definitely visit again.

Ordered food for delivery and I am never disappointed. Food is delicious and excellent value. Thanks to all the team at Tandoori Nights for another great take out.

Came for partners birthday. Food was gorgeous with plenty which they put in container to take home. Lovely staff members and nothing too much trouble for them. Will definitely be back and recommend to all

Tried this place after a friends recommendation and was very impressed. Ordered 2 meals over the phone on a busy Saturday night. Was told the food will be 30 minutes and the food was ready to be picked up bang on time. Food was very tasty and we will defiantly try the place again!

Visited last night (24/9/22) for a takeaway after a couple of friends recommended this place, due to the lack of decent curry houses in Widnes, and I must admit it was really very good. It was busy, but the food was ready on time and really, really good. Definitely coming back 👍🏻

Had a very nice meal here at Tandoori Night. A spur of the moment decision turned into a very pleasant 90 minutes. The food was beautifully cooked, bursting with flavour and plenty of it. Staff were attentive without hovering. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and we will definitely return.

Great selection of food and service was really good. Some real tasty specials. Maybe need to clear some extra furniture etc.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery, being familiar with this restaurant both eating in and takeaway I know that the portions are generous so I didn't over order. Having said that we had onion bhajis and vegetable samosas alongwith curry, rice and naan to share! When ordering we were told the total price over the phone which was handy when it was delivered as it is cash payment. The food took a while to be delivered, about 50 minutes but I ordered early evening expecting it to take a while as it was a Saturday evening. The food was piping hot, free poppadoms with relishes, fresh salad for the starters, beautifully cooked curry, rice and the naan were all delicious, £20 covered the lot and we had leftovers for the following day. Excellent!

Best Indian meal I've ever had in England absolutely delicious and plentiful. The curries in Scotland are always better than in England, when I complemented the meal the manager told me the chef was from Dundee 😅 Lovely, helpful staff.

Excellent service which is friendly, professional and andnof the highest quality. Furthermore, the food is exceptional and we won’t eat anywhere else. Maybe the previous reviewer got mixed up with somewhere else or had too much to drink 🤷‍♂️.

Worst indian resturant I've been in for a long time . The staff were not very freindly and food wasn't good . There are much better restaurants in the area.

Everything went smoothly. We all ordered chicken tikka masala with naan, rice and chips and was very nice. Good atmosphere as expected. Has most Indian dishes in different styles so has a lot of meals on offer and good drinks selection. £75 for 3 people which makes it possibly the most expensive restaurant in Runcorn. Would be nice to find out on the menu which are spicy and which are mild. Would be nice if could have masala, rice, chips and naan as a meal deal than having to order everything seperately.

Ordered three meals 19. 02.22 at 5 pm at at 6.15 rang and asked where order was. Told with you any minute! At 6.45 rand again asking for update. At 6.50 meal delivered COLD and returned with refund. Absolute shame as normally excellent food and service!!

Visited without booking on a very busy Saturday night. We got a table straights away and the staff were very attentive, without being fussy. The food came quite quickly and was really good. Portion size was spot on, generous without being over the top. A really well run restaurant, lovely staff and great food. Well worth a visit

Had a disappointing meal before but thought we’d give it another go. Still disappointing, had dhansak and garlic exotic, could’ve been eating anything. Rice was ok but not brilliant. This was a takeaway and was ready in good time but the quality was just dire.

Terrible customer service, tried to order 6 starter, poppadoms and chutney tray, was told have to order 1 main meal as it's the rules? Already had drinks, then got told minimum spend on card £10, spent £70 4 nights before, obviously don't need the custom as there were 3 other covers of couples in there.

Great food and great service would recommend

We came here on our first night out in tier 2 after lockdown, the staff and service was wonderful. We had a slight issue with one of our dishes which was rectified immediately and we couldn't have been happier with our visit. Price was average, overall we spent £67 which included two bottles of Rose, two main dishes and two side dishes.

Love the food from here. Portions are decent size. Price is cheaper than lots of other local indians. If picking food up usually only have to wait 30mins after phone call to collect with 5mins wait in restaurant
