Very bland. No taste. Funny taste chicken.

Popped in for a solo dinner the other day. The restaurant is always clean (as are the loos when inspected this time around) & the tables have pristine white table cloths. Ordered a chicken bhuna and a mixed vegetable bhaji, as I prefer my curries quite dry and not swimming in gravy. The food was freshly prepared and served piping hot. Absolutely delicious. And on the occasions when the family has ordered deliveries over the years, we have consistently found the standard is high. 5 Stars well earned.

You know, this place is quite excellent. The food is served piping hot and is delicious. The restaurant and tables themselves are hyperclean and beautifully presented. I had a delightful discussion with the restaurant manager when I was there. I simply can't fault any part of my dinner experience. And then, to be thoroughly nosy, I popped my head into the loos to see if they were clean before I left. Yes they were sparkling clean. Go to Meghna. It's just simply a wonderful Indian restaurant.

We actually had a take away from here, which took about 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive from time of order. Admittedly it was a Saturday night and I would not mind the wait but the food was poor. The delivery driver was rude, just grunted the price at me when I opened the door and said hello. I don't think he spoke any English, so not a great start. The whole meal for two was not that cheap - just under £40. Again, the price would not matter if it was good...but we were disappointed. The so called marinated meat in the Chefs Special was certainly not done so overnight, as advertised. The onion bhaji was undercooked and greasy. The tarka dhal was a bit watery. The whole meal was below average. I would not order from here again.

Ordered a take away again always late and have to chase the delivery and they always say left 5 minutes ago yet another 10-15 minutes passed and still not here and only live 5 minutes away . Ver disappointing how they never come on time

Was actually a home delivery. Normally pretty good during the week but just pointless ordering on a Saturday evening as the food is always late, rushed and very average. Always need to ring them up to chase up the food...usual bs about it's on the way, when definitely hasn't left the premises yet.

The popodum were stale, so sent them back. Came back just heated up, still stale. Waiter said he didn’t understand why as they had been made at 2.00pm (6 hours early. Did not have a starter. The curry was just about passable, not much chicken, a lot of sauce. Bill came to £51 for 2 curries and 2 drinks. Will not be going back.

Nice local restaurant, good food but not exceptional. Food was well cooked but didn't have the zingy/aromatic flavour we expected from our dishes. We will visit again.

Do not call it butter chicken when you put sugar and coconut in it. Chicken was so sweet that it felt i m eating a dessert. Garlic naan without any garlic in it. Really bad

Quite possibly the worst curry I have ever eaten. The poppadoms we ordered and paid for were stale. They were bending they were so stale. The chicken in the curries looked like they had come out of a fridge packet of cooked chicken and then just lobbed in the sauce. Waited nearly 90 mins for something that was not edible. Beyond disappointed.

Great curry as usual. Fish pathia was a new dish for me, the fish fell to pieces. Husband had king prawn tikka: he wasn’t expecting tails on the prawns but wasn’t a problem. Would definitely order again.

The reason my food quality is low, is due to the fact we order from Meghna quite a bit and we also visit the restaurant in person, but last night’s takeaway food was not the best, the chicken was chewy and this was for all the dishes we ordered, so might be worth informing the restaurant of this so next time can be improved.

An absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff are unbelievably professional and polite.... the food is second to none. The flavours just burst in your mouth. Started with poppadoms.... even the dips are insanely delicious...The salmon starter is the perfect place to start... light.. tasty and just the right amount..... I ordered the king prawn surprise.... surprise is its delicious!!... such a delicate balance of flavour. Takeaway tastes as good as in-restaurant dining. Can't fault it . Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in the borough. Go... have a meal.... you won't regret it!!!

Food took 3 hours to arrive and 2 phone calls to ask when it would arrive. It finally arrived cold & items were missing. Now they won’t answer the phone so we can’t get a refund for the missing items

It was the first time we ordered a takeaway with you and we were thoroughly impressed with the vast menu and service upon delivery. We ordered online and got the food at the requested time without fail. Will definitely order our visit the restaurant again.

I have been a loyal customer to Meghna over the last 20 years. They have been consistently late in delivery, recently despite being the nearest address for the last few orders but last night was the last straw. When phoning to find out where it was the front of house hung up on me twice! Even when I walked to the restaurant they lied directly to my face about having even spoken to me. And continued to be rude to me - in front of other waiting customers - which they tried to serve ahead of actually addressing my complaint. That being, their service. There was no apology for what had happened or reason why. Just argumentative (I twice had to ask him to take his hands off me) and no offer of a refund as requested for such shoddy service. It is a shame as as I say, I’ve been going here for 20 years but now will never use them again if I want my food on time and hot. Equally I have no faith in what would be served to me in future. If you must use them, factor in at least an extra 30 minutes to your arrival time and if it is late, don’t bother phoning or going to see them. They have no idea about customer service.

Food was a bit bland, not much taste nor spice. The food wasn’t that hot (presumably because it took a while to deliver despite the restaurant only being 5 minutes away). Got a few dishes wrong (ordered butter prawn but was given butter chicken. Ordered chicken biryani but no chicken was in there). Shame because the restaurant used to be nice. Probably won’t order from there again now!

Have had many delicious meals from here but this one wasn't great. Arrived 30 mins after I was notified that it was on its way and when I called the restaurant was told it hadn't been sent yet. Flavour was also lacking - for some reason there seamed to be a distinct lack of salt/seasoning compared to previous times when I have ordered the same meal. I do hope this is a one-off.

If it was possible, I would've given 0 stars because their food is just repulsive! Their tandoori chicken is WAY too bland and, being an Indian, I am let down by the spice amount. It is also just too dry. The naan was actually pretty nice, it tastes delightful... however it just doesn't go with the tandoori chicken because they both are extremely dry. However, that is not the restaurant's problem. This was my first time ordering form Meghna's "Indian" Cuisine and, I assure you, it was my last. I would not recommend this unless you are an English person who likes tasteless, "Indian" food. However, I must admit, their naan tasted yummy!

Ordered at 19.20, arrived at 21.30 like warm. Customer service was non existent plus only 7 lumps of small chicken in my madras. Prawn puri was stuck to the aluminium tray like suet. Abysmal. Only try this lace if you want your patience also tryng

I'd had a takeaway recently which was excellent and thought I'd pay a lunchtime visit. Bright, clean restaurant with excellent service and food. I think I will be using this restaurant regularly and only wish I'd tried it sooner.

We’ve ordered many an order from Meghna in the past but of late the food quality hasn’t been to the standard we’ve come to expect. The chicken in our last order was very dry and tough and korma sauce was fairly dry and tasteless. Sadly disappointing as this was our favourite curry in Worcester Park.

Lamb pathia was lovely and lots of meat in the curry. Food was delivered before the estimated delivery time, and was hot. Will definitely be my go to takeaway for the future.

This is the Best Restaurant in London ! I live in Stratford and i travel nearly 1 hour just to come to this restaurant because its that good ! i come here atlasest once ever 2 weeks !!!

Not as good as it used to be. During lockdown, food was ordered as a delivery & arrived cold.One chicken dish was completely black and quite tough and another dish did not taste fresh. (Actually it looked like it was left over from the day before.) Used to like this place. Prices have also risen considerably. Great shame.

Food took 2.5 hours to arrive! 8 months pregnant and exhausted so didn't even enjoy the food once it arrived at 10pm. Just wanted to have something to eat and go to bed! Not sure why restaurants accept orders when they are busy, just pure greed!!! Was a regular customer but not any longer.
