The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Booked a table online - turned up to find restaurant closed. Others were having the same experience. No response from restaurant. Has the restaurant closed?

Came here with a few friends. Food was okay. Average. The service was slow. My friends did enjoy.their.meal. will give it another try soon

First time delivery from Liyanas, the chicken korma was awful, chicken was opaque and definitely reformed rubbish (Liyanas, if you are reading this review, you have to dump the reformed chicken and use real meat??) and it was binned... Tandoori chicken was all bone and little meat. Sag aloo was nice along with the mushroom rice.. Delivery time was as expected on a Saturday night, shame the food didn’t live up to its name? Being local people we always try to support local businesses, however, if they don’t use top quality meat etc, (as they charge top quality prices) we won’t use again!!! Shame..

Went to this place today as just needed some fries as our usual were shut for Jummah. I ordered 3 boxes of fries, had to wait 10 minutes as they make them fresh. Good so far. Whilst waiting I observed a member of staff packing someone’s food into a bag. I noticed he licked his finger to help open carrier bag. This is a No No! It’s a food place you must have had training and this is spreading germs.when I received my fries I politely pointed this out to the man in charge who served me. I explained this was not acceptable and I will be leaving a review as it’s not good practice and although I shall not return I just don’t want their customer to be exposed to this. The guy explained that we are a small place not McDonald’s! That’s irrelevant you must follow good safety if serving public. He then proceeded to offer me a refund. I said no I don’t want my money back but just want you to review and retrain the staff for the benefit of your customers. He was not very accepting of my advice and explained you can leave your review but it will not affect my trade/ income/ Rozie. I do not wish for anyones business to suffer, nor do I wish for it to be affected by my review. If you are bringing friends and family to help plz offer them training!!

Taste of Maharaja in Ormond Beach is a diamond in the rough. It's a nice and pleasant restaurant with very good food. The menu is quite extensive. There were 2 couples in our group,. We got two appetizers and 4 entrees. Tne samosa chat was very good. I got the Madras Chicken, Indian hot and it was excellent with a thick and spicy gravy and both white & dark meat chicken. My wife got the Kerala chicken which had a sauce with a strong flavor of tumeric. The other two entrees were chicken korma and lamb vindaloo. We all had tastes of all the entrees and they were all very good. Our waitress Indira was absolutely wonderful as we're all the other service team members. It is quite good value as the portions are quite large.

I recently ordered food from Kerala Hut Restaurant, Northampton for a large gathering of around 130 people, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The food was absolutely delicious — every single guest complimented the variety, taste, and authenticity of the dishes. A special thanks to Robin and another staff member (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember) — both were incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly throughout the entire process. From planning the menu to the delivery and service on the day, everything was handled smoothly and with great care. The team brought the food on time and served it in a professional manner, which made everything stress-free for us. The presentation and quality exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Kerala Hut for any event, big or small. Their food, service, and hospitality truly made our function a memorable one. Thank you once again to Robin and the team!

We like to try different types of curries, something that sounds a bit different than plain. Bombay Babu fit the bill for this. We utilise their own site to take advantage of any discounts. The taste of our takeaways couldn’t be faulted, nor the speedy delivery, however the ratio of rice to lack of madras sauce was way out. You also have to order a can of pop with this meal (we didn’t want one) and they forgot to bring it. The Babus Salt and Chilli Pottika bowl was the highlight, worth a try.

Simply the best Indian in Southsea (and there are a few), have had most of the chefs specials over the last year, all,stunning, can't be faulted

Staff is fantastic and ensures food is made to liking. Excellent service, very accomodating. Ate here 3 nights while on business trip and quality was consistent.

Pedimos una comida para llevar, puntualmente entregado, gran servicio. El único inconveniente fue la calidad del cordero poco cocido y en su mayoría graso, de hecho, el 70% no era comestible. Muy insatisfecho. Las veces anteriores la comida ha sido excelente. No estoy seguro de si me gustaría otro plato de cordero

I live 120 miles away but when ever local family are visited every month a Curry take away is always taken home, as the quality is so lacking in our area of Lincolnshire. The value the quality and taste is outstanding. Naga my favourite sauce, is unbelievable, so is the Lamb Balti. Keep it up,Please!

Three of us had this week's non veggie meal and were happy with just about everything. The delivery was spot on, the food was hot - obviously freshly prepared - and the meal was good and tasty. We are big eaters so could have done with slightly larger portions but next time we will add some extras. I found it tricky to order for 3 - perhaps the method could be made more transparent. I look forward to trying this service again in the not too distant future. They deserve success.

Amazing food, amazing service. It was our first time trying Indian food and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely repeat!

La luz de la vieja luz de la India ha ido fuera después de muchos años. Su ubicación es ahora ocupado por un nuevo restaurante tailandés - Nuwa 0208 127 3900 que también hacer para llevar comida. En una primera visita parece que sirven comida muy buena pero tiene servicio variable. Una de nuestra mesa tuvimos que esperar unos 30 minutos para sus principales. El restaurante se disculpó y no cobran por este tema.
