Amazing food, amazing service. It was our first time trying Indian food and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely repeat!

The food was excellent, full of flavour and a good level of spice. The staff were friendly and quick to take my order, beer was severed quick but had to wait maybe 20 mins for the food but it was certainly worth it.

Dankjewel Peter

9 of us dined at the flavours of India we booked the table for 7 - starters came out by 8pm and main dishes at 9pm and we walked out of their by 10 - so a long wait from ordering to eating. The waiter had trouble taking our orders and that was evident when the mains eventually arrived as we had the wrong dishes being delivered to our table. Several people walked out as the food was taking too long to arrive. So not great on service hence the 3 stars. The food however when it did arrive was very nice and tasty but the shine was taken off by the length of time it took to get the food. Clearly they couldn’t cope with the full restaurant so be prepared for a longish wait but be pleasantly surprised at the nice food

This place was near our hotel and had wonderful aromas pouring from it every time we went by. Decided to get some takeout on a Friday night. I was expecting a long wait but was happy with only waiting 10 minutes or so. The place is a bit old inside but had a fabulous kitch interior. The food was excellent quality and a great price too. We can’t get good Indian food at home (without a long drive) so this was a great treat, nice and fresh. So why not 5 stars? They wouldn’t let me get a can of soft drink with my take away order, which was strange.

Food was excellent, authentic Indian restaurant with all the decorations. 5 stars for customer service too, but they need to improve as in speed service. A bit slow. But 5 stars over all.

On London for business and wanted a nice place to eat. Interesting bar made to look like a lorry cab and a good welcome to match it. I ordered the Lamb rogan josh and and the lamb tasted so succulent and tend. I always order lam in Indian restaurants and very often it is tough but this was so tender it was gorgeous. Highly recommend it.

Honestly. I used to adore OITA. I still very much enjoy the food and the service. It's always above par, really fantastic. However, for some time now, they have installed TVs throughout the restaurant and outside. And now in the last 3 visits, football has been played on these TVs. From what I could see, this was never requested by a patron, but the staff. Oita used to be the only place around that was just a restaurant, not a bar/pub (there's 5 in walking distance). And it's a shame that the lovely vibes of music and indoor/outdoor garden have been spoilt by this visual/auditory distraction. I'll be visiting other local restaurants instead if this continues... As an example, I was celebrating my birthday there with a meal, and halfway through the evening, the TV behind my friends heads pops on, and the Qualifying for the world cup was put on. Not only was it as mentioned super distracting, but it just feels so out of place when you're trying to eat dinner with friends, it only seeks to take away from conversation. Again, this isn't a pub/bar. And qualifying for the world cup shouldn't be important enough for an exception. When it was sunny and outside, the TVs would also be playing sound, which is even worse, and honestly ruined my last evening there.

This was the first time I ordered from this place and I was very impressed. The food was so fresh and it arrived nice and early. Best Onion Bhaji I have had in years.
