Simply the best Indian in Southsea (and there are a few), have had most of the chefs specials over the last year, all,stunning, can't be faulted

We order from here regularly, the staff are always extremely friendly, and the food is amazing! Curries are never greasy, the rice is fluffy, and everything is super tasty! This is my families go to curry!

Excellent take away, very fresh tasting curries, tender well cooked meat dishes, good price, can recommend this take away.

I have used this take away for over 2yrs and has always been the best in southsea but unfortunately has been taken over by basmati from Eastney Rd,had my usual order and the poppadoms where stale and the dhansak was watery but OK and the coconut rice was stodgy. Phoned to complain about the poppadoms and was told that they were fresh🤣🤣I think not as I could bend them in half without breaking!!won't ever go back but sadly another takeaway ruined 😢

Have been using Bengal Spice Takeaway since they opened and have never had a bad meal! Have tried many of their dishes and they are always wonderful. They are particularly generous with their portions and give free pappadams with Mains usually. Especially understanding with myself when prices increased recently but I was unaware of this so they honoured their original price. Service is excellent and delivery times good. Would rather forego a takeaway if they are not able to provide one - would not go anywhere else. They are definitely the best! Cannot praise them enough - would give 10 stars if I could!!! This is probably the best quality Indian (or Bengali) food available in Portsmouth. Very generous portions, clean and skilfully-spiced. They offer a good free delivery service as well which they run themselves and they take cash which you simply pay the driver. Great prices I would therefore strongly recommend it.

The portion sizes are very generous and the quality of the food is fantastic. We have had 3 different meals from here and all have been excellent.

I've ordered a couple of takeaways from here now and I'm very impressed with it. First of all the premises strike me as very clean which is always reassuring. The food itself is very good I've enjoyed everything I've ordered from there so far and will continue to use them as long as the standard stays high. I recommend this place because the food is good but the prices make it excellent.

This is by far the a BEST Indian takeaway in Southsea. Food is always fresh and very flavoursome. Literally never had a bad meal from here.

Having being recommended to try this new takeaway we ordered a selection including a Chilli Bhuna special...... with Nagas as well..... Wow... lovely. Everything was so tasty, the Naga wasnt over powering, just a lovely flavour and a bit of added heat. Chilli keema Nan was freshly cooked and lovely, Biryani was great and the veggie curry served with it you could taste each of the veg. Everything delivered within 30 mins and all still hot. Well worth trying and definitely up there with the Stamshaw Tandoori.

Always really impressed with the food here. The takeaway always looks immaculately clean and their food is delicious. Most Indians are hit and miss in Portsmouth but this one is consistently good. I don't think they have much publicity probably because they've chosen not to be shafted by Just Eat. Highly recommended!

We've had regular takeaways from here over the last year. Having tried the majority of takeaways in Portsmouth over the years this is our favourite. Consistently good and very reasonably priced. They deserve to be way busier than they currently are! I really recommend this place.
