Most authentic Greek place in Mansfield. Lived in Greece enough to say that.Amazing! OPA special club sandwich, Gyros, souvlaki and everything else we tried ! Lovely guys behind the counter.Regular place to the list!. Recommend it big time !

Couldn’t eat at the hotel, so I gave this a whirl on local advice. Really good! Very tasty, good portion size and authentic Greek cuisine. Will definitely have a crack at the rest of the menu!

Been meaning to try this little Greek find for a couple of years and last night I finally did and it didn’t disappoint!! There were 4 of us dining celebrating our friends birthday and we love our food, there was so much to choose from we found it hard to decide what to have! We opted for olives, hummus, halloumi fries and calamari to share and then we had chicken gyros, substantial portions that we really struggled to finish it all but we powered through as it was to tasty to leave 😂 The waitress was super helpful on arrival, asked if we’d been before and none of us had…she explained it’s all cooked to order and comes as and when it’s ready, fortunately the sides we wanted to share came before the gyros to tide us over so worked out well as a starter. We didn’t have to wait long for the sides to come and not long after we finished, our gyros soon followed. The food portions again were good sizes, hot and really tasty with a good amount of dips to accompany them. The service was fab, especially the lady with dark hair who served us, she went above and beyond so Thankyou for making our first experience fantastic and we will definitely be back 😌

Would not hesitate to recommend The Olive Pot for a special occasion. From booking to execution of a meal for 10, the service could not have been any better. We were given a large choice of menus from which we chose 3 dishes for each course. The staff arrived on time, dressed the table and cooked and served the most amazing meals. The quality of the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. I would go so far as to say it was some of best I'd had in a very long time... and plenty of it. After we had finished everything was left spotless. I really don't k so how they did it, but it made an auspicious occasion very special. Thank you.

Yamas, Like a lot of reviews on Trip Advisor, this place is very disappointing and poor. I visited this restaurant around 1 year ago with my Son and wife,,, we had a great time nice food great ambience. Fast forward to today, my day off , 7-2-25. Was a little apprehensive about going here tbh, booked on line, I have a bad hip, so we needed a table downstairs preferably not near the door,,, ( it is February ) They put us quite near the door, o, but I let that go,,,,. We knew pretty much what we wanted, off the Lunch Menu,, £15, for 3 Tapas off a very select menu,,,. So we ordered x 2 off that menu. Dishes came out , Luke warm/ shrivelled , right,here we go,, the Chorizo Con Miel was tough and chewy, the Pinchos de Pollo was fatty and tough, the flat bread was cold and let’s say not soft, ( for a flat bread), and to finish , what I was looking forward to the Calamari,,, which as you can see from our photos, very pale, skinny & un appetising, ( plz check google images for Calamari ) . Pattas Bravas looked microwaved with hardly any sauce,. Service was not very welcoming, when mentioning how we was unhappy his reaction was ah sorry,,, we received a 10% discount,,, poor,,, . To conclude ,,, been here before brilliant, been now, absolutely terrible, food is really poor, service when faced with a complaint is ,,, ah sorry,,’ Really not good enough for me at all,,, will not be going back here ever, and will be telling everyone I know not to either, Words of Wisdom,,,, Don’t let your success be your downfall,,,

Having moved back to the area after some 30 years, we knew this place as Dionysus which was always a favourite. We went on a Sunday night and were not disappointed. The drinks are more than reasonable and the food excellent. Chatting with the staff and owner made it a personal experience. The Tzatsiki was to die for as was the chicken fillet and pastitsio. Will definitely come back and not after 30 years.

Always top tier place for food and drinks. The food comes very quickly, delicious and amazing selection. Can sometimes be a bit loud when busy but that's not the venue's fault, sometimes louder groups ect. Service always great and friendly

The quality of food is spectacular, I have now ordered food from here two days in a row. The portions exceed expectations and the taste of each food product is amazing. Just be wary of exactly what your ordering and make sure it adds up to the menu :)

We took the kids for a quick lunch and it ticked all the boxes. The food was no frills, but fresh, tasty and cooked well. The lady serving us was friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic food and a fantastic service. Ordered on just eat. Food delivered hot, sauce in tubs so nothing gets soggy. Chicken yeeros are so tasty and always a go to as a Friday treat. Love this place!

How have I not stumbled on this place? Overheard a friend talking about here so decided to try for the first time. And wow I'm so glad I did, ordered for delivery the mixed meal and houlumi, it arrived fast and hot. Was all presented absolutely perfect in a nice foiled box. I cannot fault this place as a first time customer. I will definitely recommend and will be using this more often.
