We had family staying for one night, so we decided to try Cuzina, the new Greek restaurant in West Bridgford that had been catching our eye on Facebook. Clearly, the targeted advertising knew us well because Greek food is right up our alley! We booked a table for Thursday night, and it was a good call—it was already bustling. We’ve visited a few tapas-style restaurants recently that didn’t quite get the concept, but Cuzina absolutely nails it. Having recently returned from Greece, the experience brought back memories of dining at some of the charming tavernas we loved there. The food was fantastic, with a great selection of both vegetarian and meat options. We ordered a variety of dishes, including bread and dips, halloumi, souvlaki, and other authentic Greek delights. Even though our 9-year-old complained that everything seemed to have basil on it, I noticed his plate was clean by the end—high praise in its own way! Overall, Cuzina delivered a delicious meal that we all enjoyed, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The food was outstanding. However, after a massive miscommunication from a waitress with the amount of food we'd receive from the set menu, the manager was extremely rude, patronising and passive aggressive. He was definitely "I'm a man, taking to a table of women, I'm right and you're wrong". Hence the one star. However, Kristos our waiter absolutely brought it back with his service - he was wonderful! Really lovely guy who was very attentive and made sure we had a good night. Thank you Kristos! We won't be going back, but if we did, it would be down to him.

My friends and I recently dined at this restaurant as a group of six. While we were impressed with the beautiful food and atmosphere, we were disappointed with the service. Despite it being a quiet period for the part of our visit, we had trouble flagging down a waiter for drink orders as they all gathered at the pass and avoided eye contact. When they did come over, they rushed away before everyone at our table could place their orders, which happened repeatedly. We also did not receive any check back on our food, but were surprised to find a 25% service charge on our bill. While I am more than happy paying a tip, I do expect better service in return.

We had a great time here, we came for my birthday meal and I was surprised by my dessert coming with a sparkler and the waiter singing happy birthday, which was joined in by other customers so a lovely surprise as we had just mentioned my birthday to each other in passing. The food was well cooked and came out in a timely manner. And the table booking process was incredibly easy.

Food was disappointing as it was extremely small. Even though the concept is tapas style the portions are still extremely small. The service was messy. Was asked to order drinks twice and was asked to pay the bill twice. Waitress kept knocking into our table and didn’t even apologise. Waiter cleared our table whilst I was still eating. Was very clear they tried to fit too many people in and out as quickly as possible. Plus the food was extremely basic and didn’t have much flavour. I had high hopes but extremely disappointed for paying for such poor service and food. If the owner/manager could please get in touch I’d be grateful as I’m very upset I had to pay for this total disaster.

I've never thought to try a Greek restaurant however, I'm glad I did. This is a beautifully decorated, quaint restaurant. The staff and their service were top notch along with the food which was gorgeous and well priced. I highly recommend visiting, I'll definitely be coming back.

The restaurant is decorated in a very beautiful manner. Good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks - like that you can get a half pint! All the food was very nice. Good portion sizes too. We recommend the lamb cutlet, octopus with flava beans, calamari, dips (Hummus, tzatziki and baba ganoush) with pitta. We ordered some other bits but this is what stood out to us. Service was OK- nothing special but the staff were pleasant enough. Would come back again :)

Really enjoyed the food, great potions, the lamb fell off the bone, and both the prawns and octopus were great. Cocktails were also great, and personally think everything is reasonably priced. Only downside was the service wasn’t that great, it wasn’t poor, but wasn’t great. Felt like we were constantly chasing staff down to order drinks/food which was a shame as it was not busy, but the staff themselves were friendly.

One of the best options for quality-price in Nottingham. Dips, pita, and moussaka are simply amazing. After renovation, the atmosphere further improved. Sometimes a bit cold in winter. Once disappointing experience with the octopus (which was my favourite dish): it was overcooked and solid as a rock. Impossible to eat. Despite that, this still remains one of my favourite picks in Nottingham.

I agree with the 'swindle' reviews below. The price to quantity is disappointing. There are upsides: The food that is served is nice in terms of quality and taste - it is just under-whelmingly stingy in size. The 'new' decor is bright and chic, it feels like a good place to eat. There was a healthy buzz of custom which made it feel like a popular joint. However: I opted for the Lamb Kleftiko, a staple dish that should be a good test of any Greek restaurant. This dish alone cost £12.90 and was alarmingly just a small joint of lamb in a dish, no sides. It would be unthinkable in any other restaurant to order something at this price and have no accompaniment. We were warned by the waitress that it is designed for people to order 2-3 dishes, but this is taking the p**s. My chosen side was 'Rustic chips with oregano' at £4.50 - these would be better described as potato wedges. My friend just opted for the cheaper, normal 'chips' - which when they arrived were more what I expected 'Rustic chips' to be, still dusted with oregano - could have saved a couple of £s there! The wine was fairly pricy, opting for the lowest priced bottle of Spanish white (£21) was again a disappointing experience - it was evidently cheap in taste. There are much better Greek restaurants out there - ones that fully embrace the spirit of Xenia. If you're coming here be prepared to be a cash-cow. Between three of us we had a small starter, a meat dish and a side, with a bottle of wine. This cost £85. We won't be rushing back....

We spend 84.40 that obviously wasn’t worth because portions was ridiculously small . I am Greek so I know how a Greek food should be cooked and how the portion should be specially when the prices are so expensive. I ordered a wrapped chicken gyros and it was the most awful wrapped I ever had because the meat was cooked and marinated like a stew. My partner ordered lamp paidakia that they cost a fortune and he been served 3 pieces of lamp kind of ribs with the actual meat was 1 bite and the rest was bone . I ordered a water melon margarita for 9£ and the glass was small and not cocktail glass and I was barely could taste the alcohol. The Dakos salad was very tasty but the portion was like a joke . The main reason that I will never go back again it was that me and my partner after we came home we spend our night in ….the toilet due to very upsetting stomach I felt so bad that I rang sick at work next morning 👎👎

We got there and everything seemed fine until we were ready to order drinks. There was about 6 staff that was all talking by the open kitchen and there was no acknowledgment with us sat there even though we were all looking over. Eventually someone came over from the cocktail bar area and took our orders for food and drinks. We got everything on the table we asked for mayonnaise three times to the same girl and she kept saying yes but was stood with her back to the wall of the open kitchen again with some of the other staff just wondering around looking for glasses to take off tables eventually we got the mayonnaise after waiting so long. We ate and finished and table wasn’t cleared for a good 20 minutes (the place probably had 4 tables max that were occupied) never asked if we wanted anymore drinks. We then got asked if we wanted any desserts I said il take one home with me and told the same girl that I asked for mayonnaise for the dessert and she said ok and then stood against the open kitchen wall again?!!! Sat there for half hour waiting for this trying to get someone attention and a random staff member bought it over. Not only that was a big hint I’m going home with this dessert there was no mention of the bill. In the end we all got up and went to cocktail bar side to pay and took off the service charge. Food was nice.

I visited Cuzina with my friend Dawn before going to the TakeThat concert. We were a little early for our booking but it was no problem and our table was soon ready. The food was amazing. We had dips and bread for starters followed by a few tapas dishes. Everything was fresh and hot. Having read reviews previously I was expecting the portions to be small but they were huge. So much so that I apologised to the server that we hadn’t been able to eat it all because we were full and not that we didn’t like it . Talking about the server. Well she was so fantastic. Such a nice friendly young lady .We were told her name was Edie by another member of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and she even managed to have a bit of a chat with us even though she was really busy. She made our afternoon/ evening out even more special. The restaurant was really busy so I did expect the food/ service to be rushed. Not once did we feel rushed and everything was perfect. If they can do what they did on such a busy day then I can’t wait to visit again on a normal evening. Well done Cuzjna and Edie. You rocked it .

A fab place , our first time, service was exceptional attentive but not overbearing. Nothing too much trouble & very informative about the menu & wine. The food was fab. A really great place and I will be sure to revisit & have recommended it to others already.

Had an enjoyable time at Cuzina. Small amount of on-street parking. Friendly service, need to book table in advance though. Pricey but variety of tasty food options. Really enjoyed the Greek dips and sweet chilli chicken. The potato portion was nice but quite small though. Desserts and drinks were really tasty. Was a great place to go for a special occasion!

Highly recommend this place. Great food and great atmosphere. Felt like the service could have been a tiny bit better, we had to ask for someone to come over and take our order rather than being proactively approached, but it was a busy Friday night. Once our food was ordered, it came very quickly and I recommend the spanakopita springs rolls for a twist on a classic.

Unreal food. I’ve not long come back from Greece and this food was 10x better. Highly recommend. Also big fan of a Mythos

A lovely Greek restaurant not too far from Nottingham. The interior is really nice inside with a rustic feel. Favourite dishes were the feta salad and feta cheese croquettes. The Chicken skewers were slightly dry and the homemade chips a little burnt but overall was a nice dinner.

Excellent quality of food, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, plenty of choice and nicely refurbished. We'll be back 🙂

Fantastic Greek options, super delicious & super heavy Greek food.

I visited this place with a group of friends, and we loved every part of the experience. We ordered the set menu, and the food we were served was absolutely lovely, and we were stuffed by the end. The service was fast and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is easy to get to and beautiful inside. The only issue we found was trying to get parked, but other than that, it was perfect.

April 2024, nice casual setting, music it was loud when we visited so need to talk even louder. Seated on the benches to the left, table was not high enough, knee level , so wasn't comfortable dinning. Food, just acceptable , had the prawns , which lacked flavour , chilli chicken was dry and tastless. Lobster orzo, was just ok. Sadly the food won't be making us rush back. £75 1x lemonade 1xwine + food mentioned. Staff were lovely.

Lovely decor and lovely staff. The portions sizes are very poor value. We paid £4 for a portion of fries only to be served the smallest of "buckets" with a few fries in it, they didn't even reach the top of the bucket. Also, the halloumi portion was ridiculous for the price, 3 tiny thin pieces of cheese. The pork kebabs were the smallest cubes of meat that we have ever seen. It wasn't like this a few months ago. I think they have cut back on portions sizes since we last went which is s such a shame as the 4 of us don't feel like going again after, we feel ripped off. Such a shame.

Absolutely amazing, highly recommend! We went for Mother's day with our young son, it was nicely spaced and brightly lit. Lively but still allowed for easy conversation. The food was incredible, every single dish competed with the others in taste and great flavour combinations. We found the staff very polite and we're great at advising on menu choices. Can't wait for our next visit!

Been living in West Bridgford for years and only went to Cuzina for the first time today. We normally like fine dining but as we were a big group (9) and left it to the last minute, everywhere that was our first choice was fully booked. I was so impressed by Cuzina! Although the location isn’t the prettiest, the restaurant was clean and beautiful and surprisingly big - something you wouldn’t expect when you look at it from the outside. The food was delicious - nothing like I expected. I thought it would be like a turkish or Indian restaurant. It was nothing like it. We ordered a big variety from the menu as there were so many of us, and I can honestly say, everyone enjoyed their food. The meat was succulent (we ordered a combination of lamb and chicken dishes), and the other dishes were so tasty. We all left compliments for the chef. The service was amazing too. Well done to them! We’re definitely going to go again, and would highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean food in an elegant environment. Very happy!

The food was good but I do love a gyros and it seems a shame they aren’t on offer on a Saturday after 5pm. A couple of the dishes - the bacon wrapped halloumi and the sweet chilli chicken sounded interesting but weren’t great. The best dishes were arguably the vegetarians the Fava and the stuffed veg. We seemed to have been put into a cold corner, even though we had booked, and the staff didn’t really offer any solution.

Average I am afraid. The food was OK, the decor was OK. The service was again, OK. It was all rather 'vanilla'. It was a cold restaurant, and the decor mimicked this. The server was nice enough. But, the pricing was way off. Far too expensive.

First visit to a Greek restaurant for some of our family party -we all enjoyed it! Great selection of food including vegetarian and lots of gluten free options. We mentioned when we booked that we needed GF options and the staff were already aware when we arrived and were careful with our order. Service was very friendly and polite. The gemista and gyros were especially tasty. We will definitely be returning.

First time we've been since it reopened. Decor is lovely and the food was delicious. Very disappointing that the gyros are unavailable after 1700 on Fridays and Saturdays. Service was abit slow, appreciate it was busy but had to wait at least 30 minutes after the food had been clear up to ask for the bill and that was with us summoning someone. Did want to have a desert but noone even offered them and after the long wait we just decided to pay and go. Will definetly return and hopefully service will be a bit better.

We have visited this eatery a few times over the last few years and always enjoyed. However last night was an exception. My husband and my son had expensive coats taken that they had hung on the back of a chair next to our table. Somehow the restaurant managed to get them back after I noticed they were missing. Stressful experience. Food still nice but portions were smaller. Tequila shot was awful. Won’t be rushing back.

Had a really lovely kebab & pizza with the family on way home from the beach this week - late lunch & nothing was too much trouble. Fast service & even free cake. Home made pitta too - will definitely return when in the area 😊

Friends invited us to cuzina . I had never tried Greek food before but I am so delighted I have now. What a treat and taste sensation 😋. The service was attentive relaxed and unrushed. We ordered everything together and the food came out well paced to enjoy the meal. The portions were good which leant itself to be shared. Newly refurbished with a pleasant friendly atmosphere. A great place to visit

This restaurant has recently been renovated, it is nice and bright. Service is friendly and prompt, the food is fresh and tasty. Nice selection of vegetarian choices. we liked the open kitchens watching the chefs working. We did feel after a couple of hours at the table that they wanted the table back and felt a little rushed in paying, but I guess they have to turn tables?

Visiting family in the UK, thanks to their local knowledge it was off to Cuzina for dinner. A well patronised establishment, Cuzina was humming. Just about packed to the rafter, as one table vacated it was quickly filled. The food was very good, but extremely pricey given that it was all sharing plates (to use modern lingo) that never seem to go far enough to feed the table. I know sharing plates are popular, however, I honestly don't like them for main meals. I also don't feel they're particularly appropriate hygiene wise in this Covid world we live in.

Like many restaurants these days Cuzina has gone for the Tapas style format. Restaurants employ this trick to increase their margins. That is, they can get away with charging more for serving less. I didn't have a starter which is generally Pitta and Dips, These starters are serving a vital role though - to stuff you up on bread. I had 3 main course options which when added together came to almost 30 quid. If they'd combined all 3 dishes an put them on one plate nobody in their right mind would pay 30 quid for it. No complaints about the food itself but the pair of us were in and out in an hour, £75 down and still hungry. It is somewhat rushed and you eat at the pace of the convenience of the kitchen. I notice other couples were also in and out within an hour. Personally I'm rather tired of these Tapas tricks borrowed from Spain but applied to alternative food cultures. I know in Greece there is a Meze culture which lends itself to Tapas style food. Cuzina has taken the Spanish Tapas concept, delivered Greek style food with a classic British style rip off. Not a good night out for couples. You'll end the night in front of the telly with a bag of chips before 10pm.

Fantastic food but too fast. The service prevented me giving this more stars as it was just too fast and we actually felt we were being rushed. We were told the starters would come out first but the dishes starting coming out 5 mins later whilst we were still eating our starters. Staff approached us every 5-10mins to take our plates away but, after the 4/5th time, we had to tell them to leave us for a bit as we wanted to finish our food. Our waiter tipped a dirty plate over two of us in his haste to clear away. We were asked if we wanted to order a dessert before the kitchen closed at 10:00pm. We chose and 10mins later, at 9:45 gave him our order, to be told the kitchen had closed! Note: if you visit during winter, make sure you’re sat at the back of the restaurant otherwise it’s freezing!

Great restaurant service was good food was tasty I had the dips to share and the sliced steak and a Greek salad my wife had the dips with a gluten free pitta bread and a pork kebab style pork .the food did come out all together . A good experience well done to the staff.

Very quiet (but it was Sunday early evening). Service was great, good advice given to us for how many "little plates" would be suitable per person. The food was delicious, and they arrived at a good pace (leave the kitchen as they are ready). Lovely meal, will go again

Amstel £5.6 those are further prices. Ng1 doesn't even consider pricing a sting at that rate. All the food plain and again over priced! Wouldn't send a friend to Cuzina. Good luck to this restaurant, it's going to need it!

We chose this to be a little out of the centre and did not expect what we came upon The atmosphere was buzzing - really busy but this did not seem to phase tge staff The menu was brilliantly varied with great prices and fresh well served food . We didnt have to wait too ling before a delicious greek salad and our selection of dishes started arriving at the table and in no time we were stuffed !!! What a fabulous place - we will definitely be returning !

Amazing food, brilliant service. What a gem of a find! Stopped to use the local EV charging station and grab some food. Everything we ordered was delicious; the pittas were the best I’ve ever eaten and nothing was too much trouble for our server. If only we lived nearer!

Positive - food was tasty. Negative - service. Our waiter seemed impatient while we were reading the menu and tried to choose what to eat. When we asked about some of the options, he couldn’t explain what was in the meal. When I asked which meals would go with each other, he said it is up to me what I order and not being able to assist with explaining some of the meals.

This should have been a 4 starr review as the food and service were good. The problem was that it was freezing. We asked for the heating to be turned up but the waiter said he’d have to ask his boss but they wouldn’t turn it up. We heard 2 other tables ask to turn the heating up but they received the same response. It was very surreal looking around and almost every person was wearing their overcoat as it was too cold not too. It was very uncomfortable. I understand that the cost of energy is high, but Cuzina are deterring customers and making an evening night out very unpleasant. It is the ideal venue if you like Wim Hof style cold therapy. There are other, nicer, more accessible and definitely warmer restaurants in West Bridgford so thank you, but we won’t be returning.

A beautiful meal, lovely staff. Struggled to find our favourite dish, everything was so nice. Cooked to perfection, prawns Octopus and chilli chicken all amazing. So many staff all bribing guided by I suspect the owner to ensure everyone had what they needed. Will definitely be returning.

Firstly, the place had a great atmosphere. It was buzzing (even early in the evening) and had great decor. It was in a prime location as we went straight to the cricket afterwards. The service was quick and polite, however we felt rushed in bott ordering and receiving the bill in order to free the table up, less than an hour for all 3 courses. It felt very much “fast-food” vibes. The food was good however when considering value for money, there are better options locally. The wine selection was excellent so cannot complain at all in that sense. Overall, a good tasty meal however portion sizes were relatively small for the cost.

This is a buzzing place. Excellent cocktails and nice food. Good friendly service. The food was interesting and nice. The octopus was delicious. The squid very good too. So we’re the meatballs. The only downside was the noise. It was very loud! Even so we’ll be back.

First time visiting on Friday night, couldn’t fault the place at all. The food was amazing with an array of amazing flavours! The staff are friendly and efficient. Definitely the best place for Greek cuisine and quite possibly one of the best places to eat in Nottingham!

We were going to Colwick hotel for weekend so I googled restaurants near by and Cuzina popped up. We went there for lunch. Very welcoming. Menu was good. They have good vegetarian selection ( I am only vegetarian in my family). We were little worried as didn't read any reviews beforehand. But to our luck, food was delicious. All of us thoroughly enjoyed. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
