The olive grove provided the catering for my parents’ golden wedding party. The food was exceptional quality. An amazing and sophisticated spread of different breads, quiches, tarts, cheeses and meats, as well as vegan delights. Megan’s personal service and attention to detail was first-class. My parents and guests were blown away. The value for money was amazingly good. There was no stress, just flawless service and food. Highly recommend.

This was a lovely experience. Quirky little bistro - larger than it looks at first glance. Serves Mediterranean food. They offer 3 tapas for a fixed price - we shared 6 between us with a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Patatas bravas, spinach filo pastry pie, grilled halloumi, beetroot and olive salad, hummus , olives and pitta, skewered spicy chicken- all delicious! Followed by coffees and vanilla ice cream with salted caramel sauce. They said the tapas would be small portions - not compared with many places! Our server had only worked there for a month - she (Charlie) was bubbly, friendly & efficient - an asset to the bistro.

We are regular visitors to the Olive Grove and it never disappoints. We especially love the addition to the themed specials as this makes us try new things every time we visit. The lamb meatballs in mushroom sauce were delicious. Great to see the waffles back on the dessert menu. Very friendly staff especially the lady who we’ve seen a few times now and always goes the extra mile.

6 of us visited the Olive grove for lunch on a Saturday and it was fabulous! Beautifully cosy with quirky tiled tables, a far cry from the generic boring chain restaurants that seem to be in every town and city across the uk. The food we ordered was fantastic! We had a selection across the table so we could all try different things. Particular highlights for me were the feta in filo, garlic potatoes and the olive grove pizza! Also try the white chocolate martini cocktail, it’s delicious! Staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return. Keep doing what you’re doing Olive Grove! And the Christmas decorations look amazing!

Usually we would go to Mythos but my partner decided we should try something new. My partner and our friend were searching and fancied meditation so off we went. Well it’s definitely not authentic. I would like to say the vibes were there. The decor is cute though we did have to change the fairy lights from flashing to just on because it was so distracting. The servers themselves were lovely and attentive. I’m afraid that where my compliments stop. My espresso martini was filled to a cm from the top which is a lot of missing drink. Which id have liked more of as it was tasty and could have desiccated me from the food. Now I’m no Gordon Ramsay but I can tell when the meatballs and sauce were microwaved. Why were they not fried off first at least? Sauce unseasoned. The chicken skewers reminded me of the Tesco meal deal ones. Unremarkable, bad quality meat and under seasoned. My friend’s pizza was tiny. That would have been forgiven if it wasn’t mediocre at best. Soggy probably sore bought base. I really wanted to like this place.

Friends have raved about this place so we decided to give it a go, and it was an entertaining evening for all the wrong reasons…. but more on that later! I have to start as others have said, the booking system is pants and having to call up to pay a deposit for saturday evening is fine, as long as someone picks up the phone or returns your calls, neither of which happened! eventually i got through and secured the booking. From arriving the place was packed, 8pm Saturday evening. A good sign for sure. Our party of four were ushered into the rear room, sort of an afterthought area where I was promptly stabbed in the face by the branch of a fake tree running across the ceiling, Im 6’4 tall so was constantly wrestling with the vines when stood. The ambience was being provided by a BUSH CD player on a shelf playing a selection of 60’ CD’s, there was an 80’s CD which we liked the best :-) If you have epilepsy ensure the fairy lights are not on! The next discoveries were disappointing, sticky plastic table clothes and the outside toilet I was escorted too was freezing, there is one toilet inside but this was busy servicing drunk women… we watched with fascination as two victims of the bottomless brunch were falling over tables and chairs, pulling fairy lights down while trying to focus! as they attempted to walk passed us staff were assisting them to the wc, all very classy. The wine selection took three attempts with the young waitress admitting they didnt have the one we had selected, ‘will this do instead’ was the outcome. It was a poor choice! Mains arrived before the starters, when we asked what they were the waitress said ‘I don’t know I just got told to bring it’ but it transpired it was for another table. The food was ok, albeit I had finished my main before my companions had their mains as the order was incorrectly inputted into the system, you know it’s not great when the waiter comes to your table and announces ‘I have good news and bad news’!! All in all we had fun, a weird night made better by other dinners who were also finding the goings on rather funny which culminated in a lot of shared laughter. Will we go back? no, was it memorable? yes, but for all the wrong reasons.

Went with family and friends for my daughters 18th, i took decorations and balloons balloons, which they happily set up for me, originally asked for a table in the dining area thought it was so hot, so they moved us outside with no hesitation, we went for the pizza deal, which was delicious and fantastic value for money. We actually ordered for towards an end up taking it home lol… deserts were lovely. Cocktails were fab, stunning outside area, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, the head chef, even kindly fetched out the birthday cheesecake we had with candles, lovely place for any occasion highly recommend, a hidden gem of Worksop!!! 10 out of 10 for us

Went here s year ago so was really looking forward to our meal. Had tapas and pizza. Tapas was disappointing. Not as good as last time. Food lacked full flavour. We had chicken that looked and tasted that it was bought in. Pizza was quite expensive and taste did not reflect the price. Had sangria that was pricey and not so tasty. Overall not a patch on our last visit. There are other restaurants that have tastier food and quite a bit cheaper. Also, I know that it was busy, but chap who appeared to be the owner was a little rude to a couple of tables. Shall not be visiting again.

A very enjoyable meal out once again at the olive grove in Worksop. We have visited many times and again it didn’t disappoint. On a very mild June evening we entered a very busy bistro but were seated immediately. A good menu to choose from but a shame it was on what looked like home printed A4 paper and was difficult to read. The food arrived promptly apart from one of our group not getting theirs , but this error was quickly and efficiently dealt with. Everything was very nice and the portions of a good size. Would recommend a visit if you have never been.

The staff were also knowledgeable and gave advice on choices. My friend isn't vegan. He enjoyed a mixed tapas of meat, fish and cheese. I had vegan menu options arancini, caccitore and patatas bravas.. delicious. The wine was good and the service was pleasant. It would've been nice to sit in the courtyard but this option wasn't available. We've been a few times. Im sure we will be back

Very unprofessional approach to their booking system.Booked a table for 7 on 20th August for 5th Sept. Received confirmation of table on 20th August from Jayne.Request to change the booked by 1/2 an hour on 2nd September. Received confirmation on 3rd Sept asking for £5 a head deposit immediately. I didn’t see this email because it was my wedding therefore arrived with my guests on the 5th only to be told that I didn’t have a table because I didn’t pay the deposit. This is the second time that we have arrived only to find no table. This was incredibly inconvenient especially in a Saturday night when everything is fully booked. Fortunately we found an amazing Indian restaurant around the corner where the owner rearranged his restaurant to squeeze our party in. The food was amazing too. Don’t book this restaurant because you cannot rely on their actually being a table for you.If you do get stuck visit Jhinook Indian Restaurant the food is amazing there.

I visited recently with friends for my first meal out since the Covid-19 lockdown. I was really impressed with the safety and distancing measures put in place. All our temperatures were taken on arrival, there were plastic screens between each of the tables and all staff members were wearing masks. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I’m vegan and Olive Grove already had vegan options on my previous two visits, but they had recently brought out a new vegan menu with more options. I had three tapas dishes: the garlic mushrooms, Spanish potatoes and artichoke arancini. All three dishes were absolutely delicious. It was the first time I’d tried the artichoke arancini, I’d definitely recommend! The portion sizes of the mushrooms and potatoes were also very generous. The staff are always lovely, very attentive and polite. The Olive Grove is beautifully decorated and has a lovely feel to it, there is also a nice outdoor seating area for the summer. It’s my favourite restaurant to visit in Worksop - we’ll definitely be back.

Went here last Friday for a work night out. We had pre-ordered our food and there were no issues with this. Service was excellent and friendly. I was really looking forward to having tapas as I haven't had it for ages since I was in Spain. The beetroot and goats cheese salad was gorgeous, blue cheese mushrooms were great and the spinach and feta pie was lovely. I thought the portions were generous and it certainly lived up to my experiences of Spanish tapas. A couple in our group ordered lasagne which looked amazing and I'm told it was delicious. We also ordered a couple of bread baskets which come with oil for dipping. Some ordered puddings which looked divine. I don't drink but there seemed to be a good selection for those who do. The atmosphere of the place is lovely, really special. It's bigger than you might think but it feels really Mediterranean and cosy. The loo could do with upgrading a bit but it was clean. This was my first visit here but it certainly won't be my last. I've already recommended it to several people.

Was really looking forward to visiting here as I'd heard great things. Myself and my partner ordered a few tapas dishes and a camembert. The quality of the food was as if it had been bought from aldi and slapped on a fancy plate. The lady serving was nice but found out that she was actually a chef and had minimum serving experience, I could tell this by her nervous nature. No fault of her own but management for having to put her in that situation. Where was the GM on an evening like this?! Would have commented if we were checked back on but she clearly didn't have time and that wasn't her fault.

On the 13th February me and my better half decided to try the Olive Grove Bistro in Worksop after hearing very positive feedback from word of mouth from friends and colleagues. Well what a great breath of fresh air from a dreary and let's be honest dying Worksop town...as we headed down the alleyway/courtyard and approached the establishment we forgot we were in Worksop and instead felt we were abroad! We were greeted straight away in a friendly and warm manner by Martyn who found us a table nearest the kitchen (my favourite place to sit *chuckles*) and the smells bellowing out of the kitchen were divine. The authentic Italian beer on tap was refreshing whilst we decided what to have; we noticed a Buy 3 tapas dishes offer had decided on the honey and sesame seed halloumi and the hummus with olives and sunkissed tomatoes but couldn't decide on the 3rd dish so we let Martyn recommend a dish which was the chicken and chorizo skewer ...GREAT CHOICE! Happy tongues and mouths whilst we waited for our mains. I opted for the Sausage Lasagne whilst my better half ordered the Tagliatelle Carbonara. The mozzarella on mine was to die for and the flavours were very nice; the carbonara so I was told was very nice as well and commented the sauce wasn't too thick or too thin, just right! Both meals complete with proper garlic ciabatta bread. We WILL be returning

They have tapas and pizzas available, 3 tapas for £13:95. So ordered one of each between myself and my colleague. Our pizza was about 9inch size and crispy with goats cheese and vegetables I retrospectively asked for garlic but already in oven so too late. The tapas to share were potatoes bravas, mushrooms and halloumi, which were OK.They came on plates That Would have been better if warm, so the food on top did cool down rather quickly, Making us try rush to eat food before it went cold. Maybe warm plates is a good idea for future? Or should we ask first.? But it was freezing temperatures outside, and place itself warm &ecosystem; enough.Waitress was nice & friendly.

Quick trip to the Olive Grove whilst car was Fixed. James, Jordan and Jayne combined to serve cold refreshing drink along with nice pizza bread with Goats Chees and Caramaliased Onion.

Visited here as a large party on Saturday afternoon, sat outside, which is lovely except for the amount of wasps that wouldn't leave us alone. Maybe some strategically placed insect killers would help or a can of wasp spray! Food was ok, a lot of it looked and tasted like it was brought in and not homemade. Choices of soft drinks limited.

Visited at lunchtime on Friday before heading to cinema for the new Mamma Mia film - just to get us in the mood. The tapas mix of cold and warm dishes was really very good. The tomato brochette was particularly flavoursome, but the whole mix was tasty and good value. Service was friendly and overall the experience was very enjoyable.

After being a champion of the Olive grove and how consistently good the food and service was, i visited at night and was told i had to sit outside which wasn't a problem, but rain was imminent and i asked what if it rains the waitress informed me that it was my problem as all the tables inside were booked. The people weren't at the table but they were booked. We ordered our food and a drink the food which normally comes out quickly and together came intermittently and we sat for at least 5 minutes. After our food arrived i never saw a waitress again so even though I wanted another drink, i didn't get one before leaving and paying. I don't know if it has changed hands but it wasn't up to its usual standard. Will now think twice about returning.

If you like tapas, this place is fantastic. So many different tastes and flavours, got to be in my opinion, the best restaurant in Worksop. Well recommended and well worth a visit if you've never been before.

Nice little restaurant with friendly staff and a good vibe. Tapas was good with a nice selection, the lamb meatballs were excellent. Would recommend this little bistro for an evening dining with a difference.

My sister in law booked a table for 5 of us during another red hot weekend but despite it seeming tables being available elsewhere we were shown to a small rear room which was unbearably hot. We asked if there was somewhere else we could sit bit apparently this want possible.

Hungry and thirsty in a desert of a town finding this little oasis was wonderful! The situation transported us to an Italian village. Sitting eating a delicious artisan pizza with a glass of chilled Sauvignon in a delightful flower filled, sun trapped courtyard was heavenly! Brilliant food and service.

Stumbled across this last Saturday and got the last outside table. Delightful place. Not sure why we hadn't spotted it before but we will be back. Nicely done inside and out. The service and food were faultless. Many thanks.

We chanced upon this cosy little place tucked away off the beaten track. Food is delicious and service is friendly. Love the outdoor space in the beautiful sunshine

Great night out, slightly spoiled by the disgusting cheapo Italian Merlot. No self-respecting restaurant should stoop so low as to serve sub - £4 a bottle plonk at around £14 a bottle. They need to pull their socks up because this will probably lose them customers regardless of the excellent food and service.

We were only in Worksop for two nights and feared that we might be stuck for choice from a selection of mediocrities.

I sat with the dog in the lovely courtyard of this little haven on a sunny lunchtime, and really enjoyed my food. What a lovely little haven in a rather depressing town centre!

Absolute gem which we are thrilled we found. Good easy parking, fabulous menu of truly home cooked foods. Wide drinks list Beautiful inside with level access and patio area all over looking the run way. Staff friendly and efficient, dog friendly outside although when wind is high ( like today ) the patio is closed for safety which is fully understandable. Will definitely return if we are in the area

Wow what can i say, this is the first time coming here as we were visiting my parents who have recently moved here so they treated us to a meal for my birthday. The food and service was by far a 10 out of 10. All freshly cooked food and decent portions for the price too. I had the Sticky Chicken for starters 🤤🤤and a Chicken, Ham and Leek Pie for main course which was well filled. I loved the deco and how comfortable the crushed velvet chairs were which made it even more comfy. The whole place was clean and inviting to everyone. All the staff we were in contact with with so bubbly and friendly, especially the owner? Who took our order and the lady who waited on us too. The only niggle for me was i was to hot but thats personal preference as im never cold and was sittinf by a radiator. Such a lovely pub its a shame its going to be closing ☹️
