Me and my friend went to this restaurant to try something new as we always go to one place. We were pleasantly surprised how cozy it was! The food was brilliant and the service that was provided by Yana was amazing. Definitely would return again. Also, we went on a Sunday and had a table booked at 15:00, but the restaurant was closing at 16:00, but the staff Yana & Gitana served us anyway and worked longer to ensure we have great experience.

Really mediocre, food was bland boring and all in all just bad. Service was the bare minimum and clunky at the best of times, sorbet was just ice cream, mousse was over whipped and ruined. Raspberry mojito was absolutely disgusting, mint was dead, brown and muddled so bits of mint kept seeping through the straw, cubed ice not crushed ice. Then the calamari came out, 5 pieces of calamari as a starter is very poor, and was served with a lime??? Garlic butter didn't taste of anything except herbs, no garlic whatsoever. No atmosphere at all, the playlist of music was so random and more like what you would expect in a bar or nightclub. How is this place still open?!? There wasn't a single good thing about it and it was expensive. Really poor and puts French food to shame, won't be returning that's for sure, so disappointed šŸ˜ž

We enjoyed a pleasant lunch at Cote, chose combination of starters and sides. The cheese soufflƩ and broccoli garlic were particularly good. Nice selection of wines, chose a muskadet which was lovely. The staff were particularly helpful and pleasant.

This is our favourite Cote, Kamil (general manager), Kasia (front of house manager) and team all work so hard and are customer focused. Yesterday we visited to celebrate my birthday. Warmly welcomed by Kasia and shown to the table Iā€™d requested online. We were given complimentary drinks (Iā€™d received an email as I signed up for the Cote newsletter which I recommend doing) by Kamil (thank you again). We had the Prix Fixe menu which is great value for money. Between us we had the Salad au Bacon, Poulet Grille with optional upgrade of triple cooked chips, Kamil explained and apologised that as a supplier had let them down they could offer my friend pan fried salmon instead of mackerel which my friend had and we shared a chocolate mousse! All were delicious. I was further spoilt by a brownie, ice cream and candle on a dish saying happy birthday! Thank you it as do lovely. The team here are an absolute asset to Cote! Thanks again to Kamil, Kasia and the staff here, we cannot wait to return next year!

Really warm welcome from a guy who appeared to be the manager or owner. However, he was let down by his staff- one off duty and one on who chatted/shouted across the tables at each other resulting in us knowing more than we need to about their personal life and who annoys who. It was very annoying. The manager guy noticed and did tell them to stop but still felt this let down the experience. Felt like the guy perhaps really wants to make a go of it but he needs to train his staff and not be quite so chummy with them. Another point to note for this guy is that the toilet desperately needs sorting out. Not pleasant. Just clean it properly in the corners. And the 10% discount if you order on the app? Ditch it. You donā€™t need it and many people would prefer to order with a person. I hope this venture works for you.

Lovely restaurant. Our waiter gave the impression he would rather be somewhere else. Food was tasty, but not hot enough.

Food was nice I enjoyed the crab starter especially. Our waiter was a very abrupt didn't smile once I compared him to Basil Fawlty the way he spoke to us.

Popped by for a pizza for dinner. Lad behind the counter was brilliant, even let me borrow a phone charger for a bit. Really great service. Ordered the veggie pizza, it was ok at best. A bit too greasy for my liking, but had a good quantity of olives as toppings. A bit more finesse would go a long way!

My friend and I booked for a bottomless brunch. If you like a bit of luxury and different to the standard burger and chips you get from other bottomless brunches, this is the place for you. We received a sharing graze board. When we had finished, we received another sharing board of beautiful desserts. The cocktails and prosecco were plentiful, nothing was too much trouble, and our server Ciaran was amazing. It's definitely one of the best bottomless brunches we have had, and we have had many. We can not recommend this establishment enough.

The peaches in the peach salad were hard as rock (and were not caramelized as the menu stated) and the rest of the salad mediocre. The himachi was decent but very skimpy for 25 pounds. The linguine with prawns was good but the tortellini was terrible, one bite of the whitefish a bit suspect. What Italian doesnā€™t give free bread to soak up the extra sauce? It doesnā€™t even need to be good bread! Portions were all small and overpriced. Room is nice but two extraordinarily ugly photographs are difficult to look at. Waiter was very nice but what the manager did was appalling. I went to the bathroom and then came back. My friend then went to the bathroom and was followed out, accused of leaving without paying the bill. Seriously who would do that? They said they didnā€™t see me come back. Is this really a problem? We were quite upset. Manager apology was incredibly lame. Restaurant was mostly empty. It is in serious need of major changes.

Loved it . Other members of the party complained it was too hot . Mentioned fully licensed & air conditioned . We had beer šŸŗ but humidity and heat were more higher than comfortable for some of our guests and Iā€™ve had to mark it down for this . Couldnā€™t fault the food . Not the best Iā€™ve had but certainly not the worst. Probably the Ford Mondeo of curry houses .

The small team at Clos du Marquis have created something special here - great food, attentive & professional service, welcoming atmosphere and of course superb French food and lovely wines. This makes CduM a highly recommended, intimate, must visit restaurant in lovely Stockbridge.
