The best restaurants serving French food in Richmond upon Thames London

This restaurant has been a favorite for many. And it remains first class.

En primer lugar lo positivo - El personal era muy amable y servicial. El ambiente era acogedor. La comida llegó a tiempo y el sabor era de un buen nivel. Negativos - Tamaño de la porción. Yo tenía el mango de cordero que venía con patatas y verduras. No me puede faltar el sabor de la caña pero venía con 4 trozos de patata (con lo que me refiero a 2 patatas miniatura del tamaño de un supermercado cortadas por la mitad) . Se veía muy bonito en el plato, pero definitivamente no se estaba llenando. En realidad tenía hambre después de terminar (y no soy codicioso o con sobrepeso (soy un delgado 6 pies 2 macho)). Yo añadiría que las patatas estaban mal hechas pero para ser justos esto puede ser preferencia personal, no soy un fan de los spuds al dente. Como tenía tanta hambre pedí pudín. Pedí toffee pegajoso que venía con salsa de mantequilla y una gota minúscula de una sustancia yogur blanca que era la temperatura del refrigerador. Cuando pido pudín de toffee pegajoso (que era de un tamaño razonable) esperaría que venga con una cantidad razonable de algo muy frío (el helado funciona) para complementarlo. Mis primeros 2 bocados de pudín de toffee pegajoso no fueron complementados con esta sustancia blanca, el resto del pudín se comió solo. Por el dinero que te cobran puedes obtener una mejor comida en otro lugar. En conclusión, si quieres salir por la noche con amigos y familiares pero no eres un buen culinario o tienes un apetito muy pequeño, entonces te recomiendo ir aquí. Sin embargo, si la comida es un aspecto importante para tu velada, me iría a otra parte.

Love the place been going for years great staff

One of my favourite places to go for a crepe with my children. Been coming here regularly for a couple of years and it never lets me down. A shame the place is so small but it is well worth going to and in summer one can eat the crepes on Richmond Green which is 25m or so away.

This coffee shop is a small local business. They serve the best coffee in the area in a fantastic and friendly atmosphere. On top of it, they serve breakfast and lunch. The selection of food might not be huge, but the food is fresh and tasty. People who work here are lovely and super friendly. I would recommend this place for a coffee break if you are in the area. They also have some cocktail evenings, so it might be an option when it's too late for a coffee.

We were visiting Côte for lunch to celebrate an early Mother’s Day for my mum, as my brother was flying back to Sydney tomorrow. The level of service we received and our food was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you so much!

The location is good; however, I see no other compelling reason to return.

The food was absolutely delicious! Lamb was superb and sea bass was done to perfection.

Having grown up in Paris, I am very particular when it comes to pâtisserie. Each time I dare to raise my hopes, I am invariably let down. But not yesterday at the French Tarte in Teddington. The Pear & Almond tart is a classic and this did not disappoint; it was skillfully executed, nice to look at, and very good. The Chocolate Tart I eyed with suspicion as it looked like it could be dense and unpleasant. I could not have been more wrong. The first mouthful brought an extraordinary burst of perfect chocolate pleasure. The baguette was equally good - nice crust and chewy crumb. After 26 years in the UK, I think I have finally found a little piece of home. Merci!

I’ve been buying my coffee sometimes lunch in this place since September 2023. I noticed a colleague of mine had been given a loyalty card. When I went in to buy my usual coffee I had asked when did you start doing loyalty cards. He proceeded with a reply of 10 years ago which I said ok and as I was leaving after paying for my coffee he had the cheek to say you should talk less and listen more! Lost a regular customer

Small French Bistro in Richmond. Good choice of dishes, specializing in Breton Galettes . Lovely genuine atmosphere, friendly professional staff, not intrusive or rushed.... food nicely presented, good portion size and quality produce. Excellent value for money......highly recommend a visit.

Made a booking online for Saturday evening with my family, received booking confirmation through my emails. We arrived at the restaurant only to find it was closed. Not sure why I was able to make a booking for somewhere that wasn't even open. I also wasn't going to leave a review until I got sent an email asking how my experience was 🤷‍♀️
