Cafe Zizou in Richmond upon Thames

Very lovely people here, I’ve been coming for years. They always make it nice and very welcoming

I had a chai latte and got a too good to go bag early evening. The chai was great and so was the food. The staff is adorable! And super reasonable prices :) will be back!

Two days, two completely different experiences. Visited Monday, greeted by a lovely, welcoming lady who made the perfect cup of coffee, ordered poached eggs on toast with bacon, which came promptly and was good. Visited Tuesday, different altogether, coffee was awful, service not great, waited nearly 30 minutes for the same breakfast as above (someone had forgotten to put the cooker on apparently). Eggs were watery and not great. Plus when I compared the receipts on Monday and Tuesday I had been charged a pound more on the second day 🧐

In my opinion, the best cafe in Twickenham. Great coffee, good pastries, great service and staff, reasonable prices. Also, one of the few places in the area where you can get a proper small cappuccino!

When I got into Cafe Zizou, it was a quiet environment and not too busy. Both the Customers and the people who work there were quiet. When I got my drink, they were friendly, they even said thank you for ordering. I ordered a Fanta, it tasted good. The staff were respectful, patient and also nice. I went to Cafe Zizou in a big group. The staff put four tables together so we could all sit with each other. They also provided enough information when I asked about their ice cream. I wish there was even more Café Zizou’s.

Cafe Zizou was clean and had a quiet environment which I like. The people were nice and friendly, and they helped us by moving the tables together because we came in a big group. The food and snacks were cheap and there were enough food choices. I ordered chocolate biscuits and they were tasty and were good value. I would go back to Cafe Zizou.

A pleasant cafe for brunch or snacks. Tasty food and no pressure to finish quickly. Outside tables also available,but as location is on a busy main road, so they are not really ideal. Convenient for public transport, and there is also a public car park nearby.

First time here yesterday and I’d been walking for a while and in much need of a cuppa and a sit down. Wasn’t sure where to go so chose this place. I got a warm welcome, ordered quickly and got a table. Not only did I get a great (2 x teabag) pot of tea for one but I got the best eggs Benedict with fried mushroom on a muffin. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this place.

I have been going to Zizou for over 10 years. The staff are fantastic, hard working and friendly and there's a lively regular clientele who know each other making the cafe have a unique atmosphere. I usually have a coffee with a pastry and as a coffee lover this cafe is still offering a fine cup and at a far cheaper price than most in the town.

We came in for a coffee to take away and had a decaffeinated Cortado which was carefully made and strong enough to put hairs on your chest.

The apple pie was not sent. Please refund me the amount. This was confirmed by the restaurant and they have also been in contact with you

Food leaked in the packaging was very oily- potatoes were bit hard and cold- However, good portion size

We have been a few times now and have left so happy every time! Even though they always seem busy they always fit us in and the service is amazing! The staff are all so friendly and the cost of the food is always so reasonable, i normally go for the small veggie breakfast or the zizou club sandwich which always comes out tasting amazing! Coffees and smoothies are always perfect and just such a nice vibe whenever we have been! Cant recommend enough!

Come here once a week or so for a quick brekky. Scrambled eggs on toast and a hot drink. Food and drinks are good and the staff are wonderful! Will return. Keep up the good work.

We received a warm welcome on arrival from the man who served us, he was so lovely and friendly. The service was excellent and the food was so delicious, great value too! We shall definitely return. Highly recommended!

Quando abitavo a Twickenham, fino a quando a giugno 2020 sono tornato a vivere in Italia, ci andavo regolarmente a fare colazione. Staff davvero gentile e simpatico, grande scelta tra mangiare e bere e atmosfera tranquilla. Ad ottobre 2021 sono tornato per un weekend a Londra e la mia prima tappa è stata quella di fare di nuovo colazione da Zizou, mi è stata data una grande e calorosa accoglienza e il servizio e il vino erano sempre ottimi! Grazie davvero.

The food was really good and affordable. We ate an english breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast with tea and the price was really affordable.

One of the tastiest English breakfasts I haver ever eaten!!

Received the wrong order , had asked for scrambled eggs and got poached eggs , sausage and bacon. Didnt have the will to call the cafe so just ate it. overall food is nice but not worth the price and the guys taking orders at the cafe need to READ and deliver the correct orders ! The delivery chap was very nice ...

The English breakfast was so delicious and the best part it’s halal!! I enjoyed every bite. The cappuccino was also goodd! The packaging was honestly done with care and love you could just feel it. Thank you cafe zizou for this amazing service

If you like good strong coffee at a reasonable price this is the place! Forget the overpriced chains. A very good range of cakes, pastries & savoury dishes too. Vegetarians catered for. Savouries come well presented with a little fresh chopped salad garnish. Friendly & welcoming staff.

Nice cafe on high street in Twickenham. Had the smoothies which came in plastic cups for some reason even though we consumed on the premises. They were excellent quality though . Service was good. The toilets left a bit to be desired . Quite dirty and untidy . Prices reasonable.

We've been to many cafes for halal full english breakfast and nothing beats Cafe Zizou. We always come back here. The full english is tasty, good portions and coffee is good too. Always nice pleasant service as well.

One of those places where your eyes sting from the burnt oil hanging in the air.

You have to try the lasagna... It is the best homemade lasagna I've ever had. So light and moist and not dry at all. It's always perfect. The cafe and staff are lovely too.

I go to the Café regularly (alone, with my girlfriend, friends and family) and the service has always been fast and polite. Finally I drink an espresso coffee almost as good as I used to drink in Italy. If you are in Twickenham go to zizou! A lot of choice for eating too! Forget the big chains! ;)

Amazing little cafe with amazing fresh baked goods. Especially love the pastry always soo fresh. Almond croissants are one of my favs as well as the chocolate twist pastry and the pistachio ones (not sure what they are called). Have also tried the lasagne very tasty served with salad. Friendly polite staff- always receive fab service! Look forward to trying more!

Found this place today, great coffee

A London vistor's perspective....visiting Twickenham for two weeks and last night I just wanted to get out. I walked the streets on a Sunday night at about 5:20 PM and while many places were closed the others were closing at 6. The sign in Zizou's door said 6 ...and 30+ in smaller print. I stood around outside and one of the staff commented after my second look, "Come in, it's an approximate." Come to find out the "staff" was the owner. We spoke for about 15 minutes about business and life and in the end he stayed open until about 8:00 PM so that I could work. Definitely recommend the place. Connect with the owner!

Friendly manager and staff. They were near closing time when I went in as so hungry after long journey. I was really well looked after.

Nice coffee venue 👌. A great choice of savoury and sweet pastries to whet your appetite, without being too calorific. Seating inside and few tables outside shop front. I will definitely visit again 😊
